Watching Our days on a whim, I immediately recognized cat-lover Wang Yuxi in that drama as the former Li Tongguan from AJTL ! Just a few minutes into last third of episode 11 and I was : who is this Adonis guy?... oh yes! Such an arresting face! Looking forward to see him as ML in Moonlight Mystique!
No, up till ep.25 they are still, if not enemies, only allies against Yan Ziqing. Duanwu saved Cui shijiu in ep.20…
Personally I avoid clips and spoilers before watching a show, but sometimes I do peek, trying not to get spoiled too much, lol. General trailer is fine, looking at episode trailers can give a wrong impression so I endeavor look at those .... after the episode aired!
From Saturday on, you may enjoy it on Netflix. If you want to know more about when and where this was filmed, where to watch (with direct links), characters, cast, popularity, OST and related music, and some details (historical and geographical, etc) you can look at my lavishly illustrated "companion piece" which is divided into 10 linked "chapters"(posts) using the MDL "Discussion" options feature. That companion piece is also full of links to other date I watched during research or being made aware of. My character list is developed in real time, with description of each one as they appeared, aiming at giving the start point and not too many spoilers: they are too short to be character analysis, anyway. The description of actor/actress allows to have an idea of their style and the links to their "pages" facilitates looking for more, including some other pages devoted to them on MDL (The newer "articles" with sometimes misleading titles are linked with my short opinion about those too).
So Chi Shijiu and Duanwu/Su Muzhe aren‘t to get friends. I saw on TikTok Duanwu/Su Muzhe helped her.
No, up till ep.25 they are still, if not enemies, only allies against Yan Ziqing. Duanwu saved Cui shijiu in ep.20 because of her moral principles and to return the favor of Cui freeing the slaves in Wuling ; she said they "were even" after that.
me too, and also "fan 帆!" who compiled all those pix, with translation, into an almost chapter of photonovel ! 🤣🤣🤣 Nice to watch this, in between episodes!
Thanks for bringing to attention. I just love that snippet! The full video from Weibo too; it's great that it is also on YouTube with English subtitles : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VGN86c-3vLY but was this recorded earlier ("Lantern festival"???!)
Lusi is so tiny compared to her two gigantic male leads that neither of them was ever captured in the same frame…
Yes, I just discovered the hilarious "kidnapping" scene too (scroll up to Cya615) (was it before the live stream, they are dressed same as in it, so the itinerary was : car/ supermarket/ making food, adding too much salt, and getting the dishes ready to enjoy while chatting together and with people on bullet comments? Rosy I think was leaving to attend Weibo awards night next? ) These guys have a lot of humor! 😊
This, let's report it to admin mydramalist about misleading information. How can they approve misleading article…
Have a look at the articles in the link on my "Companion piece".
I agree that I was puzzled by the title which had me raise eyebrows : was it a click-bait joke? The article itself to my mind was not offensive, only repeating parts of the interviews, with links and pretty posters/pictures ; I had added a gif of same interview in the "interviews" subsection in my "companion piece" and watched it already. The first two articles don't come with same strange title as this most recent one. I was most puzzled by "Lily Alice" already (a D fan? it's bizarre because her watchlist show only South Korean dramas, and what is even more puzzling, there is no reference to the drama TSoPG.) Amazed that she could get 3 articles in and approved in such short time frame. But. After all, some Alices may like Rosy too? or the story ?
Or, as I've summarized yesterday, first 20:1) Pearl girl pearling2) Pearl girl running3.) Pearl girl slaving away…
苏幕遮 Sū Mùzhē : 幕遮 does mean "curtain", 幕 for screen (serious) and 遮 for hidden so there is a hint of someone going into seclusion to perhaps mourn 肃穆 sù mù (homonym) means "serene" /"solemn and respectful" So, combined, you could say there is a feeling of "veiled sorrow".
Wish they used the title The Guide to Capturing a Black Lotus instead, sounds more catchy than the cheesy LGIEF…
Agree: I am a bit tired of all these "Love..." titles and me too, liked The Guide to Capturing a Black Lotus better. Had put that one on my tbw list but thought it was "not before 2025" as someone wrote in this comments section. Then there was Esther's sweet song that got on YouTube and I thought: perhaps Xmas. --3rd collab in the future? Ah yes, I probably should set time aside for Moonlight which I missed. I remembered DYX from The Romance of Tiger and Rose where he paired with Zhao Lusi in a somewhat similar comedic transmigration from novel to ancient costume drama, but here, he first came in so differently that I first thought he was Xu Kai (noticed I was not the only one to think so, btw). -- So far, so good - am catching up, since started a bit late, held up by the other two leading dramas which are all different, so: welcome change of multiple universes 😅
"Daddi" (now Steve?) Tang, Zhao Lusi and Liu Yuning were shopping for the cooking in the live stream of yesterday…
The second one is from the live stream of yesterday, I think? When he impishly added salt to the already salted dish? First one too as a play on words sound of this character name here. "Steve" : I don't know why.

Most references I quote on my companion piece are clickable to check where they come from and related info. The thread is still "in the works" but comments on the parts already there (I have made a first proofreading today) are welcome.

And for the fun, watch Rosy and Daddi Tang (her SML co-star in The Story of Pearl Girl) moving on the song from "classic" Phoenix Legend : "Wolf's Temptation", latest from her Weibo page :

+ let's wish 'cute piggy' Rosy a very happy birthday, in a few hours now !
