I just did a post on the feed exactly about this. I was going to give this show a good 7 or even 7.5 but after…
FOURTcomment to me since you said you would stop. :)
I am painfully aware that these SJW issues are a huge fad among young people and that it is currently considered groovy to be sex-phobic. But I don't believe that you are in a majority. It's like it always has been: The zealots and crusaders and prudes are always the loudest screamers.
DO NOT tell me about generational political/social activism. I was old enough during the Vietnam War, the protests and riots that followed, Watergate and all the social/cultural upheaval that engendered, women's liberation, the Stonewall riots and the evolution of a visible and vocal gay pride movement, the AIDS epidemic, the fake war in Iraq and many other controversies and changes. I have been around long enough to see that things come in cycles. Your prudery is really a kind of natural reaction to the sexual liberation that we have evolved into over the last 40 years. It's an ebb and flow. And I make it a point to resist the controlling/censorious/anti-sex/puritannical tendencies and urges of people like you. It is especially scary that there is a tinge of censorship and talk of what should be "allowed" in the rhetoric of people like you. Too many people fought to long and hard for the freedom of speech, which includes artistic expression.
STOP WATCHING BLs. It's very simple, but you won't do it because you don't want to only not see sexual content yourself, you want to prevent OTHER people from seeing sexual content you don't like. That is bullshit and that is wrong.
There are lots of people who think the BDSM material you enjoy should not be allowed. So I guess you need to give that up too. It is not hard or complicated. DO NOT WATCH OR OTHERWISE SUPPORT art that contains material you object to. I'm guessing that your SJW rants about aggressive sex actually inspire more people to watch than otherwise would have seen the show. :)

THIRD comment to me since you said you would stop. lol
Forced or aggressive sex and rape happen in real life, therefore they are fair game to be portrayed in a drama in any way the directo sees fit. Just don't watch.
You do realise that in real life gay relationships are the same as straight ones and it is not all about kissing?…
"someone who so clearly has a determined thought that they are right and everything I say is wrong" Erin, what you don't get is that you are describing YOURSELF here with your pronouncements on what is moral and just and should be allowed. You ARE both young and old: A young person who ACTS and has the BELIEFS of an old church lady and most church ladies are homophobes. If an actor won't do what a director wants, then the show will not be the director's vision and if they continue to use that actor then they have compromised their own artistic work. That a choice for them to make. I would fire an actor who refused to play a scene with content they previously agreed to act out. I would also let it be known throughout the industry that this actor is not to be trusted and I won't work with him again.

Wow, you are so caught up in your little SJW/bubble world. So because you study "social interactions" in college you get to tell everyone else what's what regarding rough, aggressive sex. You use all the cliche SJW terms like "consent," "toxic," "problematic," "disgusting," "offensive," blah blah blah. lol I've been in this world a lot longer than you, child and you have no idea what the real world is about.

YOU think it is disgusting and wrong and that is fine. But YOU don't get to tell other people what to include in their art, nor what to think as an audience member. I wasn't disgusted or traumatized by that scene whatsoever; I've seen MUCH more aggressive, hot sex than that. But I was a little turned on by it. Guess what? There is nothing wrong with getting turned on by a scene in a drama either. Those sexual feelings are entirely natural and enjoyable.

Your entire comment is a parody of an SJW, sex-phobic rant against sex that begins with aggression. Just because they did not show LZM giving "consent" doesn't mean it didn't happen. Their laying together naked cuddling afterward is clear indication that LZM DID consent.
Newsflash: You SJWs don't get to define what is rape for everyone else. What you describe is YOUR definition of rape, not mine or a lot of other audience members. It's like saying "black is white," then getting pissed off when others disagree. This is only YOUR opinion, but you undoubtedly kept watching during the scene, and you have clearly watched a lot of BLs containing rough, aggressive sex. Why don't you stop watching BLs? You have no right to dictate to anyone what they put in a drama they make.
You won't stop watching because you enjoy those scenes and your fake outrage afterward.
You do realise that in real life gay relationships are the same as straight ones and it is not all about kissing?…
Seriously, straight out: Please tell us what it is about kissing and sex in a romance that so disturbs you? You aren't ranting against trip/catch/fall scenes, care-taking after an injury scenes, flirting scenes, jealousy scenes, murder scenes, kidnapping scenes...no, it is just SEX that you are obsessed with. Please share with the class what about sex so upsets you?
You do realise that in real life gay relationships are the same as straight ones and it is not all about kissing?…
Cherry Magic was charming and then copped-out completely. What show about a supernatural power acquired when you turn 30 as a virgin, actually called "CHERRY Magic," doesn't even allude to the popping of the "cherry" and the disappearance of the magic when the character has sex with a lover? A show that copped-out, that's what show.
You do realise that in real life gay relationships are the same as straight ones and it is not all about kissing?…
How old are you? It is sad to read the ramblings of someone I presume to be quite young who is so afraid of sex, even just kissing. Kissing and sex scenes ARE necessary to romantic stories because people in love kiss and have sex. It is very simple. As for actors, there is this thing called an "audition." And during the audition the director explains what will be required of the actor in the show and inquires as to whether they will be comfortable doing that or not. The actor can say "no, I don't want to kiss another dude." So then the director will say "OK, that's fine, you can leave now" and then he/she will audition the next actor in line. Any director who hires a homophobe who refuses to make out with a guy to act in a BL is an idiot
I once played the Marquis de Sade in a stage production of "Quills." That is the lead role and the Marquis is stark naked on stage the entire second half of the show. I was asked directly, TWICE, during the audition whether I was OK with that. I said "yes" and got the rolel. If I had said "NO" they would have cast someone else. It is very simple. This is a professional production. These are not first-graders and no one is being forced to do anything.
You sound like an old prudish church lady, far before your time. Sad.

That's because two guys are usually much more evenly matched in strength than a man and a woman, so it is a more dramatic and physical form of sex. There are plenty of forced or forced-to-consent scenes in straight dramas.

Stop watching BLs and go read your Bible or watch Disney, unless of course you LIKE what you claim to have seen here. Given the afterglow, LZM clearly consented, end of story, full stop, etc. lol I do enjoy reading a good SJW rant now and then though and yours will do. Since this horrible thing was happening, you turned to show off immediately, right? Right? RIGHT? lol No, you watched to the end because outrage turns you on.

Stop watching BLs. Or is it that you enjoy your fake outrage? It is a dramatic even in a drama, what a surprise! And of course he wasn't raped; you don't lay around in the naked arms of your rapist after being raped. Or maybe you do.
