I love Cheng Yi and his subtlety. YY knows what's ahead and what he needs to fix and how grave it is but yet I detect some mirth in him because his girl loves him. A lot. So he's all "Well it's all sh*t but hey at least Yan Dan loves me!"

My critique of IS is that I could do with a few more REAL kisses but I really enjoy the wooing/courting/flirtatious/awkward phase, of which there are many in this drama.
I loved the looks they were giving each other today. Delightfully awkward from Yan Dan and slightly smug from YY.
If any of the lead dies, if by any chance its YY I just hope its not like ALP, its one of my faves but the ending…
Ooh should I watch ALP? I’m pondering it because I love IS too much to see the leads with other people for a while so am looking for a new drama with lots of romance. ALP is a candidate as I do not know either of the leads (well I know the dude from Yanxi but that’s not a problem for me).

Omg I love Yang Zi so much. There's a slight difference between the way she treated TZ to the way she treated YY today.
With YY in this episode there was an undercurrent of resentment. She felt frostier to me.
With TZ she had the shock and then something almost like PTSD. Then because he was dying she was always careful around him to lift his mood up. Apart from the scene where he crushed the pearls to make stars, I never felt like YD was in a place where she could be cold to him.
There was just so much resentment, history and heartache with YY today after she revived him. She didn't hesitate to say she didn't love YY anymore whereas with TZ she always said "I can't." She even said that TZ is now gone and there's only YY left.
I almost get the vibe that YY thinks YD loves TZ more hence this whole obsession with going back to being a mortal TZ.
I loved his realisaton as TZ that she was ripping her heart out for him and as YY I've got a suspicion that he thinks she fell in love with TZ but is still super pissed at him.
I love YD and she's probably going to get hate for being frosty to YY but it makes sense to me. At this point she's done her duty by him, she's glad to get a second chance and she just wants out of this hot mess even though she still loves him. I find it quite sensible.
Love love love YuMo for once again having to put up with their angsty romance. He's a good guy and obviously has a soft spot for TZ from his interactions with YY. I love that!!!!!
That was superb.. It was so so so well done. Yang Zi and Cheng Yi in tears, snotting everywhere. Bravo!!! I like that they just cry like crazy and don't worry about how they look! I'm invested in all the pain, debt and lost love. I feel it in the depths of my soul because of their acting.
