I'm really enjoying this show. The writers/actors aren't trying to make a masterpiece, this fits well with campy series/movies you could see on the SyFy channel. The couples have good chemistry and the plot is light and straightforward.

If I compare it to most other Thai BLs these days, I think the rating is a bit low. If the leads were a popular ship, I'm sure the rating would be at least 7.5.

Watching it again right now for the third or fourth time since it originally aired. I'm still hoping for a second…
Granny my favorite character, I don't think I'd enjoy another season without her 😢.

Yeah there aren't many slice of life series that get popular in Thailand. There are so many great ones from other countries. But we both know in Thailand BL ships reign supreme. Anything else is ignored unless it's made for old people (lakorns) .

I hope this airs. I really liked Pie in Restarted and Art is always great.

I don't understand this type of criticism. I mean, it's common to dramas all around the world to show the 'fairy…
You equating disagreeing with someone's opinion with not understanding what they don't like about an episode is something. Film/tv critism has been around since there has been film/tv. People get degrees in film/tv criticism. It is not a bad thing to critique art.

I made my issues with episode pretty clear, I said it wasn't for me and moved on. Idk why my opinion on one episode made you write your comment, but it's fine. I know people get triggered on here when other people treat MDL like a discussion board (which it is) and not like a fan page. Where people only praise the series and never say anything that isn't glowing about the series. Which is partly why less snd less people share their honest opinions on certain shows these days.

If you need to gatekeep other people's thoughts, fine. But I already said I'm not watching this so maybe you could just let me leave in peace without wasting both our time going back and forth on a show I WON'T BE WATCHING.

I like your idea. The series was so nice and comforting that I wish I could watch something else like it or a sequel. Idk how well it did in Thailand, but shows like this one rarely get much attention from international audiences. Which is unfortunate since this had a better plot and acting than the majority of Thai BLs that have aired in the last 5 years.

Glad to see Mos and Bank getting another project, unfortunately the rest of it is typical Star Hunter Entertainment…
I already dropped it after the 1st episode. Star Hunter will never improve.

I've got to admit I'm disappointed. Even though Big Dragon was bad, I really like MosBank so I was hoping their next series would be better than that. But the first episode showed me nothing but everything that's wrong with Thai BLs these days.

I will never understand why some companies think filthy rich characters and opulence is all BL fans want to see, but I can only watch so many series with super rich guys while knowing that Thailand is not wealthy country before it all feels like a complete farce. But the office setting is no better. A Boss and A Babe and Cherry Magic were the only half decent Thai office BLs I've ever seen. All the others were clearly written/directed/acted by people who have never worked in an office. All the meetings, interns with real responsibilities, lunchtime gossip and bloated cast of characters had me fast forwarding. Other countries consistently make good/great office BLs, but not Thailand!

The best BL almost always focus on a small cast, not a million characters vying for camera time. I'm just gonna drop this now, there's no point in sticking with it when 2x speed was the only reason I got through the first episode. If My Stand In and Wandee Goodday didn't exist, 2024 would be the year I stopped watching Thai BLs. Which kinda hurts my heart.
On Wandee Goodday Jun 16, 2024
Over the last years my patience for GMMTV writing has continued to decrease. But I have really enjoyed this series so far. I've gone out of my way to only focus on the positives since for me it's been GMMTV's best series since Moonlight Chicken. But most of this week's episode really pissed me off.

When you have 4 writers, but only one has been able to consistently make good BLs, I'm not surprised that at least one episode won't be very good. And will make the main character behave out of character just to force drama. And I'll give it a pass since the issues were quickly resolved IF this doesn't become a pattern. But if it turns into a 1 step forward 2 steps back situation, I won't be surprised.

Inn and Great have been carrying Thai BL relationship chemistry on their backs since the show started. This show would have been a dud with other actors. Please don't ruin this with lazy contrived writing!!!!!

I think that was a best sneeze in BL history 🤣🤣🤣. This continues to be the best BL airing right now and I'm glad the plot progressed so much this week. Poom's acting was really top tier throughout the episode and I can't wait for next week.
On Stay by My Side Special Jun 14, 2024
This was fine. At least it progressed the original story and we saw growth from the leads. This special episode was better than the Anti Reset and VIP Only ones. But You Are Mine was the best of the 4.

It's rare to see a series try so many different things and fail spectacularly at all of them. When this show first aired some people acted like this was the greatest achievement in BL history. It had a rating of 8.9 on MDL and seemed like it would be another show selling nothing but sex to a sex crazied audience. It turns out it was much more than that.

The bad. Like with so many Thai BLs, the issues are behind the camera. The casting director hiring a bunch on non-actors, the director and writer throwing in what felt like 100 stories with endless convoluted twists, non-stop sex scenes and no character growth. And providing no real resolutions and a threat of a of sequel that BETTER NOT AIR. The editor for always going from a shocking or devastating scene to something that had the exact opposite tone. And the producer for allowing this unfinished long underwear ad to air in hopes that the shock value would be enough to sell the series.

The good. For years the line between BL and LGBTQ series has been blurred in Thailand and I appreciate that they attempted to create a story that had both elements. There was plenty of "BL" for the mostly young/female/straight viewers with all the "cute" rich college boys with vapid "problems" that we've seen 100s of times in the last 10 years. But there was also a gritty story about gay people dealing with hardships, living unglamorous lives that reminded me of series/movies from other countries like Innocent, Light, Moneyboys, Son of the Macho Dancer, Fuccbois, Jinroh Shokei Game, White Night and No Regret. These stories were more tragedy then romance and also very interesting.

When this show focused on the non rich guys it was also tragic and interesting. Unfortunately the rich guys were the main characters and IMO the worst part of the series. If the show had focused more on the non-rich guys or made the rich guys slightly less evil, despicable, cruel, with less impunity and zero consequences for their actions, it could have been worth watching.

In the end, a show that sold itself on sex, sex and more sex, proved that less is more. If you're watching this to be entertained by "cute" guys having non-stop sex, you'll get what you asked for. But you'll probably end up regretting that you asked for it. Be warned that this is more of a snuff film (show) than a softcore porn.

Wow!!!!! This show continues to be the best Thai BL of the year and the best BL airing right now, EVERY SINGLE WEEK. So much happened in the story in episode 7 that I'm still shook. Joe really can't catch a break, but his love of his "mom" is so precious. Ming is still the reddest flag and even though I wish he would leave Joe alone, this was the first time that I sorta felt bad for him (at the end).

All of the actors have been doing such a great job. But Up's acting skills once again were the highlight of the episode. And this is one of the few shows where an entire group of guys lusting after the MC makes sense because Poom is ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS.

I wonder if Ming goes looking for Joe 1 next week 🤔

I could watch another 100 episodes with Just Wandee and Yoryak living their lives and being lovey dovey.
I'd watch that

I was sad that episode 9 included non-consensual sex. It underminded the relationship and didn't advance the story…
That's how I felt too. That scene ruined so much goodwill the show/Tonmai had built up and it didn't add to the story in any meaningful way. They could have just fallen asleep like they did in an earlier episode, had the same misunderstanding and finally confessed. But for some reason, too many BL writers think casual sexual assault/rape is fine and what viewers want to see. I don't.
