Lol exactly what I thought..!! It'd have been way better if the premise was college instead of highschool. I thought…
Yeah the ages of many of the actors compared to the ages of their characters isn't working. But I'll overlook it if the story is good. And the first episode was decent IMO.

I don't know what's going on at this moment with the BL world, but I've never seen so much chemistry going around…
I definitely agree with you. This is a really great year for new/newer ships to show everyone what chemistry and more looks like. And there's still a ton of new shows coming. The BL gods are truly blessing us each day!

Just when I thought Inn and Great had the best chemistry in BL this year, these two showed up and snatched their crowns. Wow Peat and Fort are AMAZING together!!!!!

Meen's acting has been solid since LBC 2. In the first episode, he showed again why he should be a star. Chin, Frank and Nammom were also really great. I can't to see more from all 4 of them. As some others have said, I wish this was set in college instead of high school since the majority of the actors are in their mid twenties and older, but I like it so far.

I'm going to refrain from commenting on Emi, I can't think of anything nice to say about other characters I've seen her play, so I'll just fast forward when she's on screen and keep my opinions to myself.

These two are so precious, I might end up loving this more than the movie. I just want to protect Kohei and Taichi at all costs 🥰🥰

This was a pleasant surprise. Yes it's low budget with an amateur cast, but it's got a unique and interesting script and likeable characters. I'm glad I watched it.

It was pretty obvious in the previous episode that Yei was full of shit when he said he was going to meet some…
True, but I want to see everything that's been alluded to actually unfold for Yei. He's so much more interesting than everyone at the hospital and college.

I like Dee and Yak, I'd love them if they'd admit to themselves and each other that they actually want to be in a relationship with each other. Then all their romantic moments would feel more meaningful to me. But GMMTV is doing exactly what it usually does. Taking great characters and strong actors and giving them a bland, generic, typical plot, because that's what their core audience wants. No matter how small that core audience gets, fairytales, no realism, sweet nothings, girls/women with no gaydar and happy endings is all we'll ever get.

The thing is...~I find Dee increasingly aggravating. His behavior with fake ass Ter is not of someone that has…
I agree with everything you said. The writer should be ashamed for doing that to AJ's character. AJ deserves better!
On Wandee Goodday Jun 22, 2024
This week they really went full fairytale. With damsels being rescued, villians who can't take no for an answer (there was absolutely no reason for AJ's character to randomly turn full sexual harasser like that), confessions and a costume ball. And there were ad breaks too!!!!! 😒 No doubt at least some people in the GMMTV target teenage demo loved it, but am here for the parts that address issues real LGBTQ people face in the twenty first century and the brothers and their boyfriends. The rest feels more and more like filler to justify 12 episodes when this could have ended after 6 or 8 episodes.

I have never had to wonder if Dee and Yak like each other. Every moment they're together shows why. But all these other characters have given me no reason to think they like the person they're tied to, except that the script requires it.

The show has been treading water for weeks just to fill time, while also ignoring Cher and Yei. Their scene this week was an obvious pickup shot that was completely disconnected from the rest of the episode. With a purpose of adding in the gay marriage news to this universe and selling some face gel, becauae fans love the characters and they were given nothing to do in the episode. For me, their situation is the most interesting story and the writer is refusing to focus on it/them is frustrating.

I really loved the first 2 episodes. I usually prefer series that focus on the main characters (and one side couple) more than series with huge casts. So I loved spending time with Rak and Mahasamut, learning more about them and watching them start to like each other.

The previews and flashbacks showed a lot of drama from side characters and knowing Mame someone will get raped or already did. But I'll stick with it for now because Fort and Peat still have great chemistry.

Title My Stand-In
I've had nothing but praise for this series every week, but this was not my favorite episode. I went from feeling sad for both Joes and Joe 2's mom considering the implications of the first half of the episode, to being frustrated by Ming, Sol and Joe in the 2nd half.

I'm glad Joe said everything he's been wanting to say to Ming and that Ming confessed who he's been in love with the whole time. But the press conference and everything after felt so contrived and ridiculous, I couldn't help but roll my eyes. Even Up didn't seem convinced by the lines he was saying.

I hope things get back on track next week. It's going to take A LOT for me to forgive Ming by the time this show ends.

Top and Mick definitely have enough chemistry together that they could work really well in a full length series.…
Emmy really was annoying as hell. I know her hijinxs are very Thai comedy, but I rarely find that type of comedy to be even slightly funny.
On You Are My So(ul) Mate Jun 20, 2024
I'm purposefully watching My Universe out of order. This is my 5th story and it's by far the worst. Butr and Emmy are sooooooooo over the top that their scenes felt completely out of place compared to the other characters. That type of humor either works or it doesn't and for me, it was so grating, I ended up fast forwarding whenever Emmy was on screen.

Mick's acting has improved a lot since La Cuisine and he is the only reason this was watchable.

I'm watching My Universe out of order on purpose. I liked this one. At first it seemed kinda slow, but once I accepted that it's a slice of life story and just went with the story, it got better for me.

Honestly, I haven't watched the episode but I completely understand where you are coming. I read the short back…
Thanks for not getting mad at my for sharing my opinion. I've kinda gotten used to people getting mad when I share my thoughts on Thai BLs. So that other person didn't really surprise me.

I actually didn't have expectations of the series. I never saw the trailer and only knew MosBank were the leads. I didn't comment on their chemistry because they only spent a short amount of time together in the first episode. But my issues were with the office characters/setting (I'm not the only who pointed that out) and the extremely rich characters.

I watch BL to see stories about LGBTQ people. I'm very aware Thai BL is often a fairytale and that the ships are almost always more important than the writing. I thought I made it pretty clear in my first post that I was only watching the 1st episode because I lke the main ship. But I know that's not good enough for some people. As BL popularity decreases and series get a fraction of the views they would have even a few years ago, purity tests and thought police seem to be taking over. IMO that's unfortunate because I truly believe everyone is entitled to their own opinion and I've read 100s of comments over the years that I disagree with, but I don't go into other people's comments and tell them why I think they're wrong just because I disagree with them. But some people think/behave differently than me. I've been watching Thai BL since 2017, I've seen hundreds and I'll keep watching them knowing the stories aren't improving and the popularity of the genre is waining. And if the small audience that remains is satisfied with consistently poor writing, I agree with you. Things won't change.

I hope you enjoy the show. Thank you again. Have a nice day. And sorry for the long response. I know some people prefer short responses but a complete response isn't always possible in a few sentences.

This is only my 2nd My Universe story and I really liked it. These are basically movies broke into two parts, but I think the story was well written and the characters were likeable and relatible. I also liked all the side characters except the ex boyfriend.
