I completed this drama in record time. THERE BETTER BE A SEASON 2!!!

OMG, it's over...NOOOoooooo! I absolutely loved this series, the characters and their stories. I do hope there is a season 2 because I'm not sure how I feel about that ending and I just want to know what happened to everyone. As others have said, it starts off slow (just hang in there the first 3 episodes!), but you will not regret watching this heartwarming drama...even my accidental viewer husband loved it!

My Mister totally deserved the award. I just finished this drama last night. I still have used tissues littering my bed from all of my crying. It even made my husband tear up!!

omg I get goosebumps when I think of that drama. I even bought the OST. I bought the Love Rain OST as well. I know a lot of people hated Love Rain, but omg it made me cry so much. I thought it was a beautiful and touching love story. <3

You're welcome. Not all of his dramas were good, but he's been in some good ones, plus movies, and he's an amazing singer. I have a soft spot for him because he's a genuinely nice person who's been working hard for decades. He was supporting his family at a very young age as well.

Totally agree with your post. I waited all this time to watch WYWS, simply because I'd heard so many negative reviews of Suzy's acting abilities. I just finished this drama and I've concluded that there are just a lot of really envious people out there. She was totally believable and heartfelt.

You're exhausted after episode 12? Most Korean dramas are 16 episodes! Also, I don't know where you're getting the extra hours because there are only 16 episodes...

I can't believe the hate for this drama...which is the main reason I took so long to watch it. WHAT A MISTAKE TO WAIT SO LONG. This drama was freaking WONDERFUL.

I know, right?! I'm watching While You Were Sleeping" right now...thought he was early 20s. :-O

I LOVED THIS DRAMA! It was super exciting and the cast was amazing! I'm so sad because JKS is starting his military service...it's gonna be a while before there's possibly a season 2. Wah!!

It's not surgery; one of his eyes has double lids and the other does not. When he's wearing eye makeup it's not that noticeable. I think the fact that he hasn't gone through surgery makes him real and approachable. I think he's aging nicely.

I really liked this drama, for the most part, but I felt the ending was kind of rushed. However, I really enjoyed Joo Won's acting. This is only the second drama I've seen him in (the first being "King of Baking, Kim Tak Goo--which I highly recommend), but I plan on watching more of his dramas. He's a fantastic lead.

I'm watching it right now and I have to agree. It's not quite what I expected, but I'm enjoying it. I also haven't watched many dramas with Joo Won, but I plan on changing that!

For all you know, some of the commenters might be survivors of sexual harassment or assault. I'm tired of people coddling and/or defending the offenders. Even at his very drunkest, he should have known right from wrong...he just didn't care about anyone other than himself. He most certainly deserves a public verbal flogging, much like the NYC racist who verbally abused a food worker and a customer whose only "crime" were to speak Spanish to each other. (If you don't know what I'm talking about, Google it.) Just think: when these public humiliations take place, not only do they punish the offender (who most certainly deserves it), but it might make potential offenders give pause before hurting another person.

Super hot and a great actor...what a combo!

I just finished today. I think this is the longest it's ever taken me to finish a 16-episode drama. It was so good, but also very emotional. I think I'll have to write a review. I don't do write them very often, but this one is worthy.
