Now I see what is going on - with the push-pull between comedy and melo, this drama is giving a very hard core message about smart, proactive women who are NOT villains. Usually villains are smart and proactive LOL and the rest of the women are just dumb clutzes. In this drama, not so... FL is smart, confident, and proactive . Pushing it all the way to ep 11 is very smart too :) the audience is already on her side and will not kick back :) Audience HATES smart and confident and proactive women :) and cheers on dumb, weak, sex-willing, and kind and caring women, liars who never communicate and wait to be saved, ppl who cannot communicate, like in Dynamite Kiss... Wow the original chairman of Samsung had 8 kids, and they all had at least 1-2 kids, and married into other big companies and assemblymen,......... and they made Samsung and zillion spinoffs - Samsung Group, with zillion spinoffs, CJ , etc etc So there are zillion people and zillion dramas as they all have dramatic lives. ... wow. Seems like each family member's life could be a separate drama...

FYI: in the drama he does not look 52. It is makeup, lights, photoshop, whatever, but he looks ... mid to late 40ish. And FL ... witih makeup lights and her shabby clothes... looks late 30ish... they look totally all right together. Only sometimes in the drama I get to see maybe the front of his neck that gives his age... but those moments are rare... Bc he is so animated and lively, his body language and bahavior makes it feel like he is in late 30s or early 40s... He is energetic His smile makes him look young.
But real life photos of him with his real gfriend at Emmy's make him look his age. I just saw it a few minutes ago for the first time. That photo I saw... with a rather grumpy face... shall I say a forced smile and sqinting eyes.... "i dont want to be here but I have to do it" looks ... like at least mid or late 50s. Without a smile, he looks much older.

oooh I just googled she is a born chaebol ... and is now the Vice Chairwoman effectively Chairwoman of Daesang Group, a major South Korean food conglomerate.... and they have *dated* since 2015 and possibly 2010 or earlier... knew each other since 2005 and she got divorced in 2009 ..... they live together.... wow that one sentence of yours is a kdrama in itself... and there must be a lot more behind this that I dont know...and that very few would know.... if there is so much money behind this actor.... oh well.... But - he *is* charming for sure :) I had no idea that he is a Squid actor and so famous - I never watched Squid games nor was interested to research it - and I saw him in an interview when I was researching Nice to Not Meet You, deciding to watch it or not, and I thought he was charming. He has a nice smile and is polite.
