SJ has good reasons to keep his guard up... That criminal liar Stepmom makes his life hell and demands that he is always on tight alert emergency mode OR ELSE she eats him alive. Plus his work requires him to always be highly self controlled.

Su Bin can be his safe heaven and his little oasis of reality and warmth and LIFE. He is really ALIVE with her. He is engaged, active, all spunky, loud, talking, not nice, nice, sexy, caring, angry, agressive, sweet, talkative, open, honest, defensive, ..... he is ALIVE person with her. He is REAL with her. I hope he will realize soon how much LIFE Su Bin brought to him and will decide to ENJOY it since nowhere else in his life he has that

And yeah he was super good for Su Bin, his presence and hanging out with him forced her to grow up bc he is calm, stable, mature personality and she was too much out there in outer space - but she landed so well, right next to him LOL

Common it is still the most widely used trope. A crude coldhearted arrogant jerk ML and a clumzy clutzy loser doormat pushover naive incompetent rash impulsive emotional reactive immature rather dumb FL who kisses his a@@ and he magically gets transformed by her love and takes care of her all the time bc, without him, she cannot function in the world. Yeah sure dream on :) happens in kdramas LOL It is astonishing **sexism**
The older dramas went into physical and other abuse in public, openly. like Boys over FLowers. or Full House.. or suuuuuper dumb FL like Playful Kiss. .... THAT I am glad we do not get to see anymore tooooo much. But milder variants of that - that are STILL PRETTY STRONGLY ABUSIBE AND PREJUDICIAL - yes all the time, most asian dramas depend on that staple trope. It shows woman as dumb and dependent, and man as poor darlings who have to fix all the messes of these dumb women once they cling to a chick like that.
Classic tropes - a guy grabbing her wrist and dragging her along, telling her insults, ordering her around, telling her what to do, saving her from her messes, etc.

Just check out any of the modern dramas and you will find tons of this. Do you want me to name names? The Nice Guy, Bon Appettit Your Majesty,, Tastefully yours, Potato Lab, 100 memories, Queen's house until ep 30, etc etc etc
There are very few dramas where FL is competent and is not a damsel in distress to be saved, ... but luckily numbers increasing. Naming the names? Love Scout, Haunted Palace, Knight's Lower, Our Golden Days, Queen's house after ep 30, etc It makes SO MUCH MORE FUN PLOT when FL can do a lot.

Our Golden Days is a realistic portrayal of that - a woman who is on her way but not quite liberated, and a male who is on his way but not quite liberated. that is why I have such an interest in this drama, bc it is ... trying to work out that realistic situation where a male is so overly pushy and the woman is meek and insecure.
Second and third couple are a lot more egalitarian and equal in many ways.
JH is too .... pushy and arrogantly confident so ML and FL struggle the most - but EH did a great job of not letting him push her around

As for ep 26 - wow Stepmom is such a con artist, an amazing actor, a professional swindler.... Wow she is DANGEROUS. At this point SJ is the only one who has a hunch she is evil but even he will doubt himself since his father is soooooo duped and sooooo naive and blind.... ....

HOW will EH avoid being swindled when she does not talk to anyone about this and Stepmom is such an experienced CRIMINAL.... ??? When did Stepmom become like that... ? Seems like it was always like that, it is her nature... selfish cruel cheating backstabbing snake. She is a sociopath / psychopath / narcissist / con artist I dont even know how to "diagnose" her !!!!!!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE ep 25!!!! First, EH actress acted so well in the opening scene where JH and she talk. Wow! That was impressive acting. For both of them. I think EH actress acted so much better and quite well in this episode, I was stoked! Yay! It was so interesting to watch.

Then we have SJ and JH talking and that too is a wanderful conversation.
I couldnt help but notice how handsome they both are in their own way. SJ actor looks great in that navy blue suit, it meshes with his black hair and eyes. He looks stunning in that. And the hairstyle is amazing too bc it leaves the eyes open, and he acts amazing with his eyes, so it is so interesting to watch.
And JH actor has more light hair and eyes bc of lighting in that scene (his hair also looks black in some scenes and lighter in others) so the brown suit and tie looks amazing on him. He had a hideous haircut during his marrying-for-money and after..... and now he looks amazing again, esp when the hair is up and his eyes are visible.

Su Bin is so healthy and alive and she is the nuclear sex bomb that will totally blow away - actually, already blown away - the walls of SJ. He is just not aware that he lost all his walls LOL He keeps looking at her channel, watching her at the store, visiting her, touching her all over, standing under her mini skirt, etc etc etc and ... I am just waiting for that moment when he realizes his internal ancient glacier is MELTING AND MOVING ...

And Su Bin's granma is a riot, those scenes were swell. ANd the elderly dad scenes too. I like the elderly plot. THose topics are REAL.

I also liked the Driver and the MamaGirl. MamaGirl is growing up fast... She will be a great wife for the Driver :) THey are such a fun couple and he is already quite aware that there is something goine on but he hasnt totally admitted it to himself yet :) She still has no clue although she feels free to grab his hands and cheers him on when she disses her suitor :) THose two will ... encounter problems soon when Stepmom catches on...

Stepmom as we all know, sold her son as the future company heir, and sold her 2nd daughter as the wife of a bigger cheabol group, and could not sell poor orphaned EunHio so she just dumped her.

I realy hope EH doesnt fall for it so easy, even it is is Wu Jin,

SJ never loved EH. He had respect and desure to have her, but it was never strong enough bc simply there was no REAL feeling.
Look what he is doing with Su Bin - he keeps checking her yutube chanel, calling the store and even calling her to find out what she is doing. He goes to the store, he takes her out. He TALKS to her a LOT. He touches her all over to put bandages, to "tie her shoelaces" etc etc etc HE IS GENUINELY INTERESTED AND CURIOUS AND KEEPS COMING CLOSER AND CLOSER TO EXPLORE HER. THat is love :)

Oh yeah he is in love. He has been constantly checking up on her and keeping in touch. He has been touching her all over. Kneeling down also lets him come very close to her, and then look up from very close to her mini skirt naked legs. It is sweetness and giving in and also very sexual connotations. He is worshipping his Goddess :) asking her to accept him like her knight in the shining armor and her teddy bear and her hot lover. There are many different reasons why he keeps coming VERY CLOSE to her, in every way
he is in love. Cooked, baked, just waiting to discover that some BOMB went inside him, he is suddely a lot more ALIVE, the sex bomb just blew away all his stone walls he built around himself. Su Bin is ALIVE and HEALTHY and is waking him up from his frozen slumber :)

and some others that I did, I dont think the FL is dumb. For example, What's Wrong with Secretary Kim - secretary Kim is not dumb at all, she is a very skilled secretary and a competent person in life. She is just a nerd for dating, totally inexperienced

BOF is a totally completely toxic drama and should be forbidden. I just started watching and quit so I cannot say with total surety but FL there does not seem dumb. She seems insecure and also forced to act as a psychiatric nurse and personal aide and EMOTIONAL SUPPORT ANIMAL to the psychotic ML

I was totally flabergasted when I found out that I did watch Ha Neul actor in another drama and did not recognize him here at all. Different hairdo, costuming and acting - and he was 10000% different unrecognizable person. Wow! The same happened in Pump Up the HEalthy Love and its ML Lee Ju Jong - I did not recognize at all that he was one of the main villains in One High School Heroes.... again different hairdo, clothes and acting....

Then we have Kim Sang-ho, who looks the SAME in One High School Heroes villain father, Typhon Family villain, and Shin's Project good judge - he LOOKS the same in all those dramas!!! Same hairstyle, same clothing!!!! but his acting makes him clearly a different character.

thn we have a young actor Lee Sang Jin, who has a very unique face that is recognizable with any haristyle or costuming.... yet appears in so many recent dramas, still recognizable BUT is clearly a different character every time, bc of his acting - Typhon Family, Low life, sister's guitar boyriried in another drama, Dream Life of Mr Kim, .... that's all him, clearly, BUT it is all different characters. he acts very well!!!!

Kim Soo-hyun is like that too. So many different roles and he is clearly recognizable he, but .... it is clear it is a different character.

Then we have Lee Jung Gi who has two roles - the Clown which seems more natural him, and then all other characters who are all basically one character under different costuming. Flower of Evil is a slight twist on it but all others - the lawyer, the dark prince, etc - are all one same character.

But then I found acting by cloning LOL I was doing some research on Netflix ratings and kdrama general ratings, so I watched some Princess Hours drama bc it is supposedly one of the most highly popular kdramas ever... and omg. Mr. Do from Queen's house was the King in that drama..... The Queen in that drama is mother of ML, and the mother is the grandma in Beauty and Mr. Romantic ..... and ... . all those actors have the same facial expression and gesturing, literally EVERYTHING THEY DO IS THE SAME, they cannot act but that specific "acting", it was so pathetic. I am sure this is not typecasting bc the characters are so different and the genres are different. These actors just cannot act any other way. They are just ... themselves, more or less.
And some actors keep making a living with that. Like Kim Mi-kyung is the grandma in Genie Make a Wish, and she is always the same in all dramas she is in - a disciplining stern character. That's all she can act. Or is she typecast?
Or Hye Ra in Graceful liar. She was the exact same in Young Lady and Gentleman, and in another drama.
THOSE ACTORS ARE "CEMENTED" IN ONLY ONE EXPRESSION SET

So basically movie/drama makers pick a "cemented" actor like that when they need the certain type of acting they are sure that actor can do. Sometimes it is bc the actor can act just that and sometimes they typecast the actor into just that. It is FASCINATING to see how the same acting i.e. the same "character" is applicable for a King and MrDo the right hand of the ceo... For the petty Joseon Queen and the petty modern mother .... for the bossy mother and the bossy grandma.... Those were NOT typecast. It was just poor acting skill.

And most FL have the same acting - puckered lips, pouting, being stupid, being clumzy, being anxious, unsuccessful, and being a "very nice" person doormat

I watched I think all Twilights during COVID :)
My favorite Twilights are "its a cookbook" - I forgot the true title of it - and "Martian amongst us". There are some other memorable ones, like the boxer altering reality, then how Earth was populated LOL = one story of a group that traveled here, and two Adam/Eve stories - one with a lone human survivor meeting an alien, and another one of american male and russian female soldier as the only survivors :) nd the story of discontinuing Earth bc it is not aggressive enough LOL
yeah and the one where two people are taken to be dolls in a toy town

Ah, the show about the visit to the concentration camp

I was sad about the story of finding the samurai sword - I wish he could think of a better ending for that story

ah so many good ones! I hope you are aware there are depositories with ALL Twilight episodes.

I also suggest Selfie tv series from 2014, that is free on Facebook, bc it was discontinued after 14 episodes or so. Selfie is so fun :) John Cho from Tempest (American Korean actor) is the ML in Selfie and I love love love his role. I dont appreciate Karen Gillian's role as much bc she starts as a total whore, but she improves. She acts soooo well and is absolutely hilarious. The receptionist is hillarious too, her kid, and the Boss.... The outrageously hillariuos scene is when ML, FL and the kid stage a fake dance party to tape it live to boost her social media ratings LOL I qih hey put Selfie back on and finish all episodes. Omg it is super fun show and very similar to kdramas in terms o quality of story, acting and messages

The original is a great fashion show and that is the only thing I like about it. The content is complete TRASH.

the second one with secret slush funds that SJ and Chairman look at - that one shows slush funds as if SJ is not stealing from them AND THIS IS THE LEDGER THAT LUCIA'S SISTER STOLE,
and then the third ledger just for SJ where he keeps track of how much he is stealing from the secret slush funds, i.e. this is the real state of the second ledger

Ep 85 min 17 regards the info that Mr Moon got from the legit finance department at the Mingang company. The info did not come from the SJ's ledger. I think Mr Moon must have used some info to say things are suspicious. But if he had the OTHER aka secret ledger, he would know exactly where the money went etc. and COULD stop SJ syphoning money out, but that never happened, from what I can tell.

So it seems to me that SJ still has the secret ledger that he keeps for himself only
