this is just out of my curiosity, but does anyone know r the trainees getting paid or not when theyre joining…
Maybe their expenses during the show are being covered and such. Or potentially they get whatever their company gives them? Considering this is like an exposure type of show where in theory every parties benefits ( perspective company, the trainee and the production)... I don't think they are getting paid. If so , not a lot considering how many trainees there are with varying levels of popularity before the show. Or their perspective companies get the payment... not sure. Idk about Chinese variety shows too much. Based on knowledge of shows in America, talent shows like this, they normally don't get paid.
LOL are you asking me if I have ever seen American and European movies before? Oh yes, I'm totally not from this era. I haven't seen a single American and European movie in my entire life. Please enlighten me because I don't speak English of any sorts. My true native tongue is Chinese. So why would I never watch them so called American and European movies? Are you going to forget whos directing the dramas. You can conveniently forget directors, producers in China are the ones castings her. Conveniently forget directors in China are the ones directing her to look a certain way. She is totally landing all those main roles for her beauty only. We can forget there are many other beautiful actresses as well. I mean sure we can forget that. Not like a lot of other people think Li Yi Tong is a good actress. They are all liars in for her "beauty". Definitely not you sounding salty for them "oldies" being replaced. I totally agree with you. Definitely not be being unmotivated after a response 18 days later. Definitely not the fact that I cant be bothered.
I'm not one to watch variety shows much anymore. I watched a large chunk of the last two seasons though but not to its full entirely. This one however may just be the exception.
I feel way more invested in this version compared to the last two because... Chris Lee spoke the very issues I had with the other seasons and I'm impressed with her lol. This season might be worth the watch only if the production keep to their words. Last two seasons felt like " who can appear more on camera will be top 9" and " who's the better dancer and rapper?" That was it. This season, they do make it seem they will put more effort to focus on live vocal performances. I hope it's true because i felt the exceptionally great singers were undervalued in the previous seasons. As Chris Lee said dancing and singing are both important. I'm not trying to sh*t talk the final 9 of the last two seasons. I can't speak fully on season one but I did watch more on season two... and I felt like... I'm sorry... vocals of the top 9 are a bit of a lackluster and it shows in their group's song/music composition. Though take everything with a grain of salt. I'm someone who is very picky about music composition..
This one because Chuang is kinda predictable. They always give the people who end up in the line up the most screen…
LOL I'd say this one is pretty predictable as well. Maybe not top 9 type of predictable but you can tell who they are giving a lot of screen time for... therefore way more likely to be noticed by fans. Thus will get more votes.
not gonna lie the comments comparing this drama with the other one gives me "traditional art is better than digital art vibes." Different strokes for different folks... I'll enjoy both in their own way.
When the drama is finished, can someone tell me at what point do they cover the family drama behind the FL&ML.…
oh dear, you have read the novel? if he got kicked out... in the novel then there's a high chance it will happen? Someone said something like that happened in the 2019 version.....
Please that 2019 version it was so good like everything acting dialogues scenes everything!! Dat was far good…
Absolutely nothing wrong with having an opinion! Everyone should have an opinion. Also I go on a tangent often so that's fine. What tends to bother me is when people are calling the 2019 version like it's the original story and how this version is ruining/" messed up the whole story". Both versions are an interpretation of the novel. Everyone is going to relate differently based on their own perception. For someone it may seem pathetic or desperate while for others it isn't. It's just either you like the interpretation or not. The draggy aspect has more to do with the length and what they are fitting into the drama based on the novel rather than the writer keeping with anything. The shorter the drama , the more aspects of the novel that will be cut out for time. Hence the flow of the drama/movie will be more cut throat aka more simple. Personally i feel like if this version isn't to ones taste, you don't need to continue to torture yourself just don't continue? It will end in the same manner as the 2019 because both are following the novels storyline. The only ones who probably enjoy this drama are are probably the ones more open for interpretation/ prefer this version. I've been noticing a lot of people out to compare the two dramas like there has to be winner. There really is no win win situation in that aspect. Suggesting one being better than the other isn't going to do anything because everyone has their own taste. I'll eventually get around to watching the 2019 version but I'm someone who is very open to interpretations. I personally like to enjoy what I watch so I personally won't be comparing when that happens.
I personally am enjoying this drama at face value. If this version seems "draggy" then there's always the 2019 version that's been condensed. Or if you really want an even faster pace you guys can wait for the movie version that's also coming out relatively soon. All three of them tell the exact same story from the original novel in it's own interpreted style. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion as they should but no one goes about seeing a drama being 38 episodes and expect some fast paced love. Unless yall want to see the leads together then apart then together then apart then the cycle repeating... otherwise yes it's going to drag. Personally I find the pace good. Though this is coming from someone who has a high tolerance for drag. I grew up watching dramas that range 20+ episodes and especially family dramas that have absolutely little plotline going on ( with about 100+ episodes) aka drag.
I'm sorry but I don’t think this is true since there isn't any official confirmations on weibo. When a cast…
What you are saying is quite contradicting because like the other user said. Yibo and Xiao Zhan were practically unknown when untamed came out. grandmaster of demonic cultivation novel aka untamed was already big way before untamed drama came out. So many fans were out to watch untamed as well. The main reason untamed got so much traction is because the novel was already very huge. It was also quite well received because the director and screenwriters did their best to keep the elements of the story genuine while walking around the bl ban in china which made fans of the novel happy. Besides that, looking at another earlier comment of what your ideal was, its near impossible for Xiao Zhan to play as Xie Lian and Wang Yibo to play as Sang Lan.... That being said I have decently high hopes this drama has the potential to do rather well with the people who mydramalist claim to be on board with the project.
Well, some of us choose anger so that we don't have to feel pain :) So, I'm quite understand why the 2019 FL acts…
no... not quite. "I understand that point that's y I never cmnt about first ver." = they clearly understand that "some of us choose anger so that we don't have to feel pain." :)))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))
Can I get the spoiler on why the netflix ending irked you LOL. I can't find spoilers on how the novel ending went...…
oh wow..... now that's um.. wow LOLLL i be reading the comments on here with people complaining about luo zhi in this version being a stalker for overhearing the conversation on three chopsticks and mimicking him...to feel closer to him but the cousin thing is on a whole other level. I know I've been telling people both versions are like interpretation of the novel but wow... is it really an interpretation for sure. Did you read the novel by chance?
Can I get the spoiler on why the netflix ending irked you LOL. I can't find spoilers on how the novel ending went...…
LOL i mean if the 2019 version did stick to the novels ending then this one will probably end in a similar fashion. I don't mind it being him leaving the chance to study abroad because that's semi realistic... though not really. I just hope if they do end it in the same fashion it would be interpreted in a better way like he went an alternative route of some sort. I like this version too... also me = didn't watch 2019 version.
Can I get the spoiler on why the netflix ending irked you LOL. I can't find spoilers on how the novel ending went...…
oh snap. Well... in that aspect idk if this version will do that... maybe? Maybe it will be have a better approach to the same situation? It's not that odd for people to decide not to go abroad or something... Or those who prefer not to do distance relationship cause it isn't exactly easy for everyone to do. But oh man. Since I don't know how the novel played out I cant say LOL oof....
TBH, I liked the Netflix version even though the ending irked me a little. Now I'm wondering if this version is…
Can I get the spoiler on why the netflix ending irked you LOL. I can't find spoilers on how the novel ending went... but from a general overview I think they will personally end in a similar fashion to the novel. Might not be the most accurate but it will follow the same flow of it. I personally think watch both would be worth it but id be a hypocrite because i didn't watch the Netflix version yet. I think this version goes into a bit more details or at least has a few more scenes than the netflix version. Personally if you choose to watch both i think its better to view them as interpretations of the novel. Its like watching cinderella adaptations. So many version, follow the same general flow and storyline but all different processes to achieve similar ending.
it gets it's high rating because the drama isn't aiming for high production value. This production clearly had…
Like I said its really up for interpretation. If people go in watching it expecting quality content then they will end up disappointed. It's doing well now because most people watching aren't expecting quality work. So they will enjoy it way more than someone who has high expectations. Generally specking if you don have much expectations then the drama will seem relatively good aka the high score. It's also a new release. Don't get so caught up with the score likes its doing disservice to other dramas. Over time the score will go down by how much i don't know. Literally the trailer itself showed it was gonna be literal sh*t in terms of quality. As for chemistry... now that's up to every viewer because obviously not everyone agrees with you on that. I personally haven't finished it because I'm only ever going to continue to watch this if I'm in the mood to not use my brain nor do I care about chemistry that much.
