A sweet love story if you squint, ignore all logic and pretend your brain is on vacation!
This is a drama I would have definitely enjoyed a few years back or when I was a teenager.
While it's certainly light-hearted and digestible , a perfect palate cleanser, it lacked the substance and emotional depth that might have made it memorable. Recommended only if you're in the mood for something easy and don't mind characters who behave like toddlers.
✅ The chemistry between the leads is definitely there! The stolen glances, the accidental touches , the little smiles...
✅ The side charcters are intresting. Adds the depth and bit of comedic relief to the story. Beniamin is my favourite so far. ♥️ Also enjoying friendship between them!
⚠️ I was expecting a more intense, life-and-death experience, with a love story unfolding amid that tension. Instead, it feels more like a love story with some action and war zone elements thrown in. I'll give it a few more episodes to see where it goes.
⚠️ 38 episodes for modern love story...hmmmmm...we will see how that goes 😅
❌ Given that the story takes place in war zones, the characters’ behavior feels oddly nonchalant. One of the examples would be they casually stopped their car in the middle of chaotic areas, as though they’re completely unaffected by the dangers around them. Too many inconsistencies that degy logic and harsh realities of the war zone.
✅ - Checks all the boxes for me!
⚠️ - hmmm still deciding!
❌ - Aahhh aaahh Noooo!
Now, he's actually lowkey becoming my favorite character.
He’s cheeky, funny, a little thick-headed at times but knows when to switch it up and act all logical and compassionate.
Color me impressed. 😁
Inspired by me ?? Lmaoo this is 10 times better 🫡🫰🏻
If you’re a fan of Wuxia, mystery, or just great storytelling in general, this is a must-watch. It’s a show that will stay with you long after the final credits roll. >>>>> THIS IS THE PERFECT DESCRIPTION OF GOTD!!
Was it the worse watch for me ? No.
It was just mediocre and with Bai Lu , I don't expect that *sigh*
Good review girl! ♥️

In this episode, Hagiwara took a step forward, and for some reason, I was hoping for a confrontation, or at least some kind of communication that would help me understand her side. Yet, all I was left with was a sigh. But... *sigh* I have no issues with her refusing him but brushing it off everytime without a proper reason is just not right in my books.
The same goes for Nakarai and Fujisawa. With Kaori, at least we have some context, but Fujisawa remains a mystery. We can see he cares, and it's clear he knows Nakarai loves him, yet his behavior , that pulling away only to return feels like an unfinished story leaving Nakarai hanging in the silence between their moments.
Lmao that preview, it looks like a total mess... but honestly it’s the kind of mess I signed up for! 😂 And I’m here for all the chaos, no questions asked.
"Your sea and my sea must be connected somewhere. Even now, I still believe that."
This was one of my favourite lines from the show.
This is one of my favourite shows because there is so much unspeakable tension and resolution.... In the way they look at each other... In the way they looks at the sea...
I am so glad you enjoyed it as much as I did ^.^
Again, thank you for this beautiful review!
Can fancy costumes and CGI really save a drama when the plot is weak? Honestly, not in this case.
The story felt one-dimensional, I could kind of predict what was going to happen. It just didn’t draw me in emotionally and I didn’t really care whether the characters lived or died except for the SFL Fu Ling. She is what made me watch till the end ( also my NDD 💀)
This drama had a huge budget, but it didn’t quite translate it to the screen. The shots felt awkward and choppy. And the CGI? well, it was everywhere, and not in a good way. It’s like they spent all their money on special effects and forgot about the storytelling.
The cast looked solid on paper, but the execution just didn’t hit the mark. The chemistry between the actors was definitely there, but instead of diving deeper, they leaned way too hard into the most basic, predictable tropes especially towards the end. It felt like they played it safe.
I hate to be harsh because I went in with high expectations, but this one ended up being a bit of a letdown. The potential was there, but it just didn’t deliver the way I hoped. *sigh*

This medical drama was such an entertaining watch. It totally nailed the balance between intense surgeries, humour and a little bit of action. It was light enough to keep things moving but still emotional enough to make me care about the characters' journeys.
Yes it has flaws and it's has the medical drama cliche tropes, it may not be the "perfect" but it fun from start to finish!
Recommended If you’re into fast-paced medical dramas with a good mix of humour, action and some emotional moments.

✨ On Friday night (or accidental date night) Chef it up in your kitchen and whip up a gourmet feast for your special someone. And just to flex your generosity and love, let them have the last bite!
✨ If they fall asleep and start having nightmares, don’t freak out—just hold their hand like the ultimate sleep protector and let them dream it out.
(Lmao buy yourself a back massager because you will need it the next day xD)
✨ If they can’t remember which car is theirs, be the hero and suggest adding some fun stickers to help them spot it easily. Get bonus points for being a problem solver ! 😁

"Breaking the melon~ Beyond the line crossed, there lies"
Lmao not sure if it is better 😅 but the story sure is good :))
