I adore this drama - it just leaves you with all the right feels. Cute. Shy. The first throws of love and especially from a virgins perspective. I even like the pacing, as it's clear from this episode that Kim Jong Chan is quite experienced, so would rightfully take the lead. Just wish Korean BLs would give us a little more sometimes by way of showcasing the sexual experience, and especially as this was Woo Seung Hyun's first time, so it would have been great to see how Kim Jong Chan made him feel relaxed and excited once in the bedroom, ready to do the deed! The flow of the narrative from being in the lounge, to waking up in the morning, felt so jarring and unnatural - they really could and should have given us more. #JustSayin'
Looking forward to next week. Wonder what the pen signified, was it the initials of him and a former lover?
Exactly what I was thinking the whole time! Like really? Even after an assasination, a family member not so subtly…
Plus, considering how much of the drama revolves around this narrative and the heightened danger to the family - it's just so ridiculous, it's not even funny. I find it insults our intelligence in its laziness.
That is my biggest qualm about the show as well! Where are the bloody bodyguards at? After the way Tanya’s husband…
Yes agree. Think in the next episode with them both alone, we'll start to see more of his true sense once he's fully able to relax and therefore 100% trust Palm.
The whole bodyguard narrative of this storyline is what brings this drama down. It's just so dumb and utterly unbelievable. Are you telling me a conglomerate, one of the richest families in Thailand and therefore billionaires, wouldn't have:
1) Electric security fencing and gates, manned 24/7. 2) A whole damn army of bodyguards - the best to be found in Thailand, Presidential level. 3) Beyond heightened security considering their Chairman was recently assassinated. 4. Would never use one piss poor butler/driver/bodyguard, come dogs body of a father slave and a teenage boy to protect such a high level family?
It is just ridiculous and such bloody lazy writing. Surely, they could have stretched the budget to pay for extras to play bodyguards? This side of the plot just spanks of Oh! My Sunshine Night in the stupidity department.
Although, I like the way the romance is developing between Palm and Nuengdiao, I find it quite hard viewing to see how long it took Nuengdiao to apologise to Palm - after all, the man did take an absolute kicking on his behalf and openly humiliated him, you'd think it would be the first thing he said to him. The sense of entitlement with Nuengdiao at the time made me want to slap his face! Looking forward especially to his character development.
Your comment is beautifully written. I thought I am the only one who enjoyed the drama after reading the comments
Thank you so much. 🙏🏿It was always going to be a controversial subject matter. However, I thought it was extremely well told and narrated - an enthralling watch.
What a lovely, beautifully written drama. So enjoyed this week-after-week. A mature drama where the leads had sublime chemistry. A mature script, which didn't shy away from telling it as it was. A strong female lead who had the balance between being strong, but at times vulnerable. Love is indeed love. A great watch and one I'll definitely be re-watching.
What a beautiful episode. Just delightful viewing. This writer is so on point. Every episode has been delightful and so engaging. viewing. They really know how to captivate their audience. For me, this is the best BL currently - so lovely.
This is such a lovely, endearing series. Excellent storytelling week after week and our leads have the most beautiful chemistry. Love the flow of it - feels extremely natural. Damn, Gun has a lovely voice and such presence on stage, could watch him captivated for hours.
Fake. Fake. Fake. I can honestly say I've never watched a BL and said these words. Everything about the latter parts of this drama were fake, fake, fake. Go back to the drawing board and start again South Korea, because if you think this drama is good, engaging storytelling, I think you have seriously lost the plot. How can you make hugs look so fake? Don't even get me started on those pathetic bad kisses and how did you manage to commission two good looking leads with absolutely, zero, in fact ice cold chemistry? Were they even friends on set?
