Also personality wise he has has too cold vibes for my taste to the point he's really off-putting. (I prefer warm emotionally expressive direct men)

and acting so far is just average by him.

Watched too many old kdramas with this Contract Relationship trope as of late, will have to put this off for later watch, even though I love the trope, but too much is too much. 😅

Romance kdramas can be quite boring as live watching anyway (compare w thriller w many twists each week), or is it just me that prefers binge-style watching romance dramas?

Not exactly, the ML just has a cold-introvert personality coupled with trauma that makes him act that way, explained later in drama.

Although not what you're looking for I very much recommend that drama, not only is it a good romance, their chemistry is FIRE, even the actress said in an interview that her family family members asked her questions if that was just acting lol.
So that says it all about their chem he he

I don't mind mystery, just no thanks to serial killer plot. That one has it's time and place, we also need healing romcoms for lift us up situation, and not stressed over killer in all romcoms too lol

Here for the realistic logical FL ( refreshing !) who actually breaks up with BF after he lied about his identity and leaves with the money, rather than in most kdramas where she just puts up with an annoying abusive inlaws family....

I hope she doesn't take him back easily, their relationship doesn't seem worth it unless they'll develop some deeper bond with actual trust 1st (I assume this will be the plot of drama and not just FL eventually accepts ML back because he's an insistent simp with empty grand promises and no realism lol)

I hope they won't make the ML insistent that she trusts HIM, the fact that he lied show he also doesn't trust her. They BOTH need to gain more trust in ecah other first.

I wonder if SK would allow him to be a theatre actor non-celeb, do they need clean images?..

That type of story start worked very well in making the Will Love In Spring romance realistic, let's hope it works here too.
Although maybe frustating for viewers at first & impatient ones turning into haters (lol), ultimately it's good for the drama.

It's not just a typical kdrama thriller, more like Psychological-Thriller, but that's not really a kdrama genre ,more like a book genre.

I absolutely LOVED the storytelling style: A series of very sad biographies (&quite realistic in a tragic way), each ep one of a different character!

It gave much bigger emotional impact when you not only saw from different point of view but fully in dept thracing back to each and every of the main characters lives starting since childhood.

This way they managed to also convey a story spanning 50+ years in only 7 eps lol (late 1960s - 2020s )

Even while changing Point of View character they masterfully still made FL the main lead in the end and this was still mostly her story. It felt better to have 1 lead to ultimately root for/worry about in the end than just totally multi-point of view.

Also I generally just LOVE LOVE Biographies lol.

True that! Let's hope. Recently she seemed to have befriended Chun Woo Hee through Jang Ki Yong, I hope she also remains friends and loyal to Yoo Ah In, even if in secret (knetz would bully/cancel her if she did it openly).

Normally I believe rape accusations but this case is so suspicious and screams purposeful targeting, someone probably paid that accuser to make the claim, to both give credence to him commiting crime and being gay, both of which can get him cancelled from the k entertainment industry....

I also couldn't help but notice the correlation between the entertainment industry's first gay scandal/rumor and the harshness of punishment....
They are making an example of him or at minimum the prosecutor is a bigot who cannot be objective, suggesting to give worse sentence to YAH (than Seungri etc.) for possibly being gay....

I care, that law sounds fair and actually superior to south.kor law setting rapists free after 1 year....
It's the sign of developed country who actually cares a little about its women...
