Nope it's clearly much deeper problems with whole scripts and not just some changes by PD, in both the scripts are very 2 dimensional and hollow. Curtain Call as a whole is a beautiful story of a hired actor playing a dying old lady's grandson and an absolutely beautiful pairing, yet somehow writer messed that up and managed to make a story very hollow and 90% filler! I've seen romcoms with deeper writing lol! And Jinxed At First the characters are very 2D and cliche romcom. Checking the profile page of the two writers, their other projects are either duds too or unknown not famous/bad geneal reception.
It's the writers and this PD just didn't care to correct their stupidity.🙄

Well, to be fair, those two dramas had more issues with WRITING than directing, which is partly fault of writer, but thing is the PD has the FINAL word on the product/drama and can edit/demand fix bad writing parts/delete/add and fix scenes etc.
So the fact that this PD DIDN'T fix the bad writing and JUST ALLOWED it into not only 1 but 2 dramas, is really a worrrisome quality of this PD.
.....So let's hope the Writer of this drama is good, cause this PD won't fix the flaws if it isn't.....
Edit: Wait. You said THIS drama already won award for its writing??? BEFORE ITS RELEASE?!!! Anyway that's good then, nothing to fix, so it won't matter in this case at least that this PD is unrelaible at fixing bad writing in his dramas. 😅
Remembering the BTS for Find Me In Your Memory where it was highly visible that despite the ML being much older than her, she was much more mature/mentally older, and now they've cast this mentally mature woman with a 22 year old lol
He looks like her younger brother, walks like her younger brother, talks like her younger brother - he is her younger brother and that is all that viewers will see. 😅
Awkward casting. Just being good actors isn't enough for good casting, actors must also fit their roles and not give such younger-older siblings vibes 😅
She is better of paired with much older, or at minimum same age. Oh well.

And REVENGE genre too omg! Especially since it has some romance (leads are bf-gf)! .This is his first romance drama too in a while!!
Anyway this drama will also trigger some childhood nostalgic feelings I suppose 😅
Also the OTP is like Welcome to Samdarli OTP, simialr story of knowing each other since childhood, trailer gave similar couple vibes.
