Godness, some fictions just really end up parallel your real life sometimes ๐ ๐ The new articles with more detailed plot descriptions.... the timing of drama airing now too hmmm๐
(Similiar career, phase, relationship concerns, and ML personality and interests sounds alot like the type I'd go for)๐
The good thing about the block function is that you remove all chances of encountering an unhinged person's comments…
Oh you mean the people who care way more about an actor's personal life and controversy (which isn't much a controversy, people break up & get into new relationships all the time lol), over a potentially good drama?!?! ๐ ๐ ๐ ๐คฆ๐ปโโ๏ธ๐คฆ๐ปโโ๏ธ๐คฆ๐ปโโ๏ธ
๐Not everyone is aromantic.....Stay away from dramas like this if you cannot stand romance....
I actually found the Romance-hinting Island the only good thing about it.
It's because I didn't enjoy the webtoon very much. ๐ Had it otherwise been a good webtoon and drama been otherwise good, it wouldn't have needed romance. So anyway, we can disgree about Island, I personally found it to have much bigger problems than romance/not romance, both webtoon and drama felt hollow and lacking, great idea but plot didn't go anywhere interesting in neither. ๐คฆ๐ปโโ๏ธ๐

Have you actually bothered watching any of the SERIOUS romance-MELODRAMAS???
Some of them are far from the Cringe Fluff you see in most kdrama romcoms.
With ML depression and the other mental health issues in this kdrama, this likely to be more melo and not go for the Cringe-style romance... At least I hope so ๐ค๐ค
Please no romCOM.
That literary only works with 1% rare screenwriters talented enough to write an actual non-cringe style romcom....๐ (This why I'm actually enjoying Borah Deborah) I hope for a serious tone, esepcialiy during romance...
Usually you can tell a few eps in what style of romance it will be, a will-written & directed one or cringe....It's a waiting game still...
Also certain PDs are good at not making cringe style but more genuine feeling Romances like Ahn Pahn Seok with One Spring Night, Something in The Rain and his upcoming Midnight Romance In Hagwon per trailer chemistry and directing looks natural....
This drama has Sky Castle PD behind it, who is good at directing, so less likely cringe-romance....Snowdrop had more natural looking romance which is a good sign.... I'm not familiar with this writer though...

So rather than AMOUNT of romance, THE WRITING of the romance & rest of drama is more important.
Also per trailer, it doesn't look like a dumb love-at-first Sight either, FL is making fun of him and his family for claiming to have superpowers.....I see potential here for an actually good romance later on. ๐ค๐ค

Ok looks like I misunderstood you a little bit there. I thought you were one lf those people who dropped dramas if even 1% was spent on romance lol.
However why are you assuming that the romance will be most of the story here?!?! ๐คฆ๐ปโโ๏ธThere are more than just the Minimal & maximum Romances.... To me this drama seems more like in between minimal and 90% spent on romance....
As more romance-centric fictions, it CAN be done, but IT'S MUCH HARDER to write it well & believably. I see alot of romance projects turn bad, not because it has ALOT of it, but because writer acts like they have no irl romance exp and write the romance in a cringe unrealistic way ๐ ๐คฆ๐ปโโ๏ธ
Spider Man movies include just the right amount.
As for The Atypical Family, I hope they write the romance well and no stupid "love-at-first-sight" ๐คฆ๐ปโโ๏ธ . I'm currently watching Bora! Deborah and the romance is actually built up in realistic way, where leads are getting to know each other slowly first and not just automatically "in love" because writer says so. ๐ ๐
I think most time here will likely be spent neither on romance or action, seems more psychological side likely to get attention, but we'll see.
I think it's important that they include family going to theraphy as well. A love or friend connection can indeed be healing, support groups exist for a reason, BUT it will be a bit ridiculous if they don't also include actual theraphy.

(Luckily fully adult students as I understood it:
So rather than creepy, it's just slightly controversial?)
What were you thinking?!?!
And who was the moron that sent this pic as suggestion?!? ๐ ๐คฆ๐ปโโ๏ธ๐คฆ๐ปโโ๏ธ๐คฆ๐ปโโ๏ธ
WORST pic I'ev EVER seen on this site?!! He looks drunk/homeless etc... ๐คฆ๐ปโโ๏ธ๐คฆ๐ปโโ๏ธ๐คฆ๐ปโโ๏ธ
Of all the worst picks of worst picks on this site....This should be awarded the WORST...
HE LOOKS DRUNK/DRUGGED here omg !! ๐คฆ๐ปโโ๏ธ๐คฆ๐ปโโ๏ธ๐คฆ๐ปโโ๏ธ
Can k ent stop forcing him into dramas, NOONE wants to see him!!
Even avoiding putting him in the cast list, so dishonest!
....Every PD that casts him, I'll consider them a sketchy person now too, suspiously being ok with rape......
Everything remotely similar must be a copycat...๐คฆ๐ปโโ๏ธ
If we follow this idea, then Squid Game lacks originality and is parodying all the death game mangas and animes ๐ ๐
Ridicuolus people indeed....
Even dumber when this is an ENSEMBLE show with 7 other leads, and the actor in question isn't even a sole Main lead......
Your behaviour is more idiotic than his fyi, can we cancel you.....

I thought this would be just a SILLY ROMCOM (Mostly I don't like those).
...But this was more serious and makes you cry!
Had I known this, I'd picked this up sooner!
3 Eps in, it's good so far, even though the music isn't my style.

Was worried about being too much like Squid Game, but this one gives its own unique quirky charm.
The directing is FIRST-RATE, already seen from trailer!! ๐ฅ๐ฅ PD-nim will make this worth to watch!
Especially since this is an ENSEMBLE Show, 7 other leads to watch and enjoy....
Also per trailer, it doesn't look like a dumb love-at-first Sight either,

The most attractive guy of the currently rising actors!
