This one and Momβs Friendβs son are the most anticipated dramas of the year for me. Waiting to hear what will…
Don't forget the Gong Yoo x Seo Hyun Jin romance drama Han Ji Min x Lee Yoon Hyuk romance drama + about 10 others!
π 2024 SEEMS A YEAR WITH A MEGA-RETURN TO HIGH-QUALITY NO-CRINGE ROMANCES FINALLY, honestly the pure romance dramas have mostly been a bit soulless & lacking the last few years, often overshadowed by no-romance kdramas with a slight romance only, or even by romance c dramas .... With about 10-13 upcoming romance centric dramas in 2024 (&beginning of 2025?) with strong casting and potentially less shallow writing (many k special screenwriters who are good at characterization scouted by good/famous PDs latelyπ€....They realized the issue was a bit lacking in characters?) is looking to be FINALLY the return of actually potentially GOOD romances in kdrama! Even some actors who don't normally do Romances, are back to/First time doing Romances! A return to form, a year where romance dramas shown potential once again. ππ
(Don't get me wrong, it's good that kdrama industry has evolved into more from just 1 genre/Romance kdramas, BUT it has resulted in lacklustre romanc-centric dramas, when compared to before. You can BOTH keep making thriller/,unique fantasy scifi with fresh plot kdramas and ALSO do romance dramas well, LIKE K-ENT USED TO BE PRO AT. There's no need to neglect one for the other).
I think just Kim Sung Kyung has confirmed but I have a feeling Kim So Yeon and Lee Se hee will also confirmed.…
I think most people don't like door-to-door salesmen. π Such random product choice, and makes knocking on people's doors even more awkward I'd say. π
Kill Me Heal Me Healer Chicago Typewriter Eulachacha Waikiki Secret Garden Happiness Vincenzo The K2 Be Melodramatic Autumn's Concerto One Spring Night (just started this one, but good so far!)
Underrated gems that aren't even on this list: Love Shuffle Mad For Each Other One Day Off I'm Sorry I Love You A Love To Kill Secret (2013. The KillMeHealMe OTP's other drama) Delightful Girl Choon-Hyang (Hong Sisters' older kdrama that new matchers aren't aware of!) Wow, she looks gorgeous! This kind of character is something new for her, cannot wait to see how she'll nail it!
I know right, realized when saw the pic that this isn't a role I think that she's done before. Will be interesting see her in a rich CEO/Innovator role. Her aura here is so different too and extra powerful and mysterious.
Omgg I love Han Hyo Joo, I'm so happy that she is very active in dramas now. π₯Ήβ€οΈπ«Ά
Soooooo many dramas now!! πππ
(I think it's because international streaming services are now involved in kdrama, so plots tend to be more unique & good scripts also in kdramas now, that even picky script choosers like HHJ will find a kdrama script that she approves. Even doing kdramas in int.streamers seems a good career move too, to boost i-fame & ultimately helping even movie actors' careers. ....So now many movie actors doing more kdramas too thanks to this. π)
some matches dont match. and this is one of them .
Odd pairing indeed, but since they're labelmates they should be more comfortable with each other right, maybe that will translatate into chemistry, even though sounds like not a good pair on paper?? π€π€
I have to say the older actor don't mesh well with her, she need a younger actor but hope this one is better than…
They are literary the SAME AGE π π π Both 81-liners.
You just prefer childish flower boy "men"π€¦ββοΈ
This guy has been votest "sexiest man" in korea, and for good reason π.
He's not old at all when you account for FL age. What you you want an ALSO middle aged woman with a young childish guy?!?; π€¦ββοΈ
This drama is clearly for older people, go watch your young twenties leads dramas elsewhere, or should older people start coming to younger cast dramas & start complaining about cast being too young?!?
If cast feels too old, then maybe you should take the hint that the target audience isn't you.
The screenwriter is a writer of k specials (they tend to focus on character-driven stories), and PD is a quirky…
Speaking of screenwriters of k specials, lately several of those writers expanding to more mainstream full dramas with star cast π€ I think maybe PDs starting realize that k dramas lately been lacking on the character depth, especially Netflix kdramas have been very hollow like that, but also others too....
The screenwriter is a writer of k specials (they tend to focus on character-driven stories), and PD is a quirky indie film director.
....I think this definitely won't be the typical k thriller ignoring the inner lives of the characters, but more melo & character-driven and quirky, just by looking at the makers. π
Right now I get total dark romantic comedy vibes and I hope it stays that way, but if it does, the MDL rating…
Yes unfortunately they are that way here. π€¦ββοΈ
Haven't started this yet, but these dark comedy comments has me all intrigued and ready to start it once I finished a couple of dramas first. It sounds interesting!

What about the rest of the world?
Will they force people to use illegal sources because of dumb distribution choices?!? π€¦ββοΈπ΅βπ«

I hope they don't cancel this and just recast.

But I'm always up for a women-centric drama too!
Looking forward to the sismances! π₯°

A romcom too !!! π₯°
Also happy about the social axiety rep, I hope they do it well/realistically.
I'm a chocoholic too.
Looks like a drama made for me!! π
STOP Complaining about ages of the leads and go watch dramas with younger leads.
