With Ji Chang Wook and Wi Ha Joon as leads, the drama better be Bromancing hard! (meaning lots of meaningfu bromance scenes, I don't care if they're enemies!)
One of those dramas you watch for the cast only, who make up for mediocre plot. Still, I think it was highly entertaining from start to end, despite major writing flaws:
Both FL and ML were annoying until about ep 11, FL too rude to ML and ML too passive and cowardly giving up on his life or let others run his life behavior until then. That's FAR too long to make viewers put up with annoying behaviour, over half of the drama omg!
So watch this only if you're a fan of the cast. (I like both FL & ML actors, even 2nd leads). Then you'll probably like it.
i only know her from because this is my first life ...she was good in it...
Recently she played a very opposite role to that in Black Knight (in Because This Is My First Life a moody gossping loud friend with hidden sad background vs in Black Knight a stoic quiet professional soldier with hidden empathy), girl has range I realize now: her time to shine!
Saw from youtube that there's actually a kiss scene between them.!!!😍 Very suprised considering how skeptical people where during airing that it would have any romance. Will pick this one up again when I have more time. So slight romance? The camera angles & long stares betw them at start eps did kind of hint it.

He should've ended up with that also Nerdy girl at his work, she actually was better suited to him than this gf he only kept arguing with. Pissed off that they had such a poorly matched couple end up together in the end.
I'll just make up my own fanfic ending in my head, where he dumps the girl for his nerdy colleague later.

I actually found the girl more annoying at first, with her total lack of communication about what she wanted of him, then blaming HIM for HER not communicating! 🤦🏻♀️
But later he becomes annoying for unwillingness to marry someone he supposedly loves.
In the end, they are a lousy couple because they dodn't even want the same things, being together means giving up his dreams & personality for her, she finds his nerdy interest annoying and not shared interests & have different plans for their future. It's so annoying how they try to make it work, when they don't share mutual goals of the future. They should break up forever.

Same way here.
Also 20 x 10 min adds up quite nicely to time enough to care.
Finally a tightly written short drama, rather than the forced 16 or even 10-12 ep format that starts to drag at second half 🤦🏻♀️
