Why should we, in case this remake isn't good there's always a 10/10 drama to watch then after it , rather than be disappointed after watching OG drama that the remake doesn't live up to expectations. Plus no spoiler that way.

Don't expect it to be any better during airing lol, probably will be worse because of all the attention it will get 😅🤦🏻‍♀️ Likely negative hater reviews too even if it's good lol

For some reason, many fans of ML hate the FL and many fans of FL hate the ML, or some both 😅
Some just hate women or older leads or even a 7 year age gap which isn't even alot🤦🏻‍♀️, FL even irl married a younger guy even with bigger age gap, had great chem with younger actors Kim Soo Hyun and Kang Ha Neul, she can legit be pro at matching with younger but that's not good enough for some lol

He and Chun Woo Hee both very overlooked, sometimes in favor of goodlooking but average-skilled only actors. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Other kdrama with leads that don't turn romantic is just not romantic,
but AT LEAST with this drama even if they don't turn romantic later, it has something very similar to romance ( + coupled with good chem between leads) !😍

I know right! He is total romantic ML material, yet he never ever has those roles 😭

A drama that is Serendipity personified.


Just finished the last ep and WOW.....
Did the writer read my diary,
I also had a more spontaneous than me school friend who died and with her my adventuresome spirit until recently.
Gave me CHILLS.


This drama didn't just potray the joy of surprise moments and Serendipity, it has reminded me to be more spontaneous again, like the FL remembering & being inspired by her adventuresome friend.
That last ep really solidified too why the FL is travelling. (Part of it was because of her friend).
Watching this over 10 years after my friend's passing, just like it's been over 10 (probably closer to 20) for the FL when she travels again in same place she travelled before with her friend, as If I was the female lead talking to my dead friend & visiting the same place as they did in youth.
Once again, did the writer copypaste my life into that ep WTF.
Just thought I'd share, this is really next level serendipity.

Cast Lee Dong Wook and Yoo In Na as Grim Reaper & Sunny and make them the main leads this time with more than 5 minutes of screentime per ep 😅,
then maybe this remake could actually be good 😆
I don't even care if they get chinese dubs over them, just do it ✨

I mean it was always obvious it's between them, so noone felt need to joke, just look at their chemistry in the poster awww 😆

This is a jab at those who hate other languages/needs everything in english dub etc. type of people, not at people with trouble reading sub, but people who genuine prefer dub for the saking of prefering dub.

They look good together
and this setting (1940s, tragic vibes, fighting monsters together) just suits romance so perfectly, there better be at least a slight romance!

Since this is Netlix, I'd say the western style of adding a slight romance to genre fiction is more likely to happen....

you don't miss out on the korean culture, language is culture, i don't understand people who prefer dub.

Same. I never like flashback scene between characters or their young version shown too much. It takes away screen tiem from the more interesting present day story.
And in the end, flashbacks only show the past. It's much easier to be invested in presnet time and what actually happens later than a past.
It simialr to the chidlhood connection trope, it' s just boring with flashbacks to characyer's youth. Or when they have child actors play the lead roles far too long at the start of a story. Ugh.

I watched some very old jdoramas before, this reminded me of them.
