They've been irl friends since university days, Yoon Park even said Kim Dong Wook was a reason he became an actor. KDW was famous before YP, while they were already friends & thus inspired him.
Hopefully this drama would later have some BROMANCE between them, why waste the real life bromance!!

"these days", drama posters have ALWAYS been bad-medicore at most. Some RARE times posters are good. They need better designers and/or stop controlling/ordering designers to make lame mediocre posters. Netflix is generally a bit better at this.

Two polar opposites (Lacks empathy FL & High empath ML) team up for revenge by commiting fraud together.
It's the satisfying story of watching Delightful Deceit take shape, and a lawyer teaming up with unexpected characters' outside the courtoom. FL is an intriguing con artist with a genius skill of playing out various characters for her schemes.
ML tries to understand & protect FL, a love-hate between two people with a shared goal. They also have other helpers like a hacker, an engineer and a helping hand.
I think romance as a genre of media and romance as a thing that happens within another genre are different things.…
No actually you're right romance and other genre w romance subplot are two different things.
What I meant, was kdramas used to have more clear boundaries: romance dramas only and separate action/genre dramas with no romance. But nowadays it' smore blended & genre shows may also include subplot romance, whilst previously you could conclude a genre kdrama would have none, can't say the same anymore.
(This is a good thing imo, Most romance kdramas these days tend to be boring, while genre drama w romance make better romance stories imo. Aka. Vincenzo, Happiness better romance than many romcoms)
At presscon Kim Dong Wook said to wait until the end, didn't spoil yes/no. They called it love/hate collab relationship in their interview, saying maybe more or maybe not. We'll just have to see.
Intriguing plot worth to watch, but also very boring. Somehow boring when just 6 eps. Maybe should've just been a 2 h movie.
Also best part was the acting, very pleasantly surprised about Suzy's acting, she used to be just very stone faced & not expresssive, but here she has dramatically improved. Now she can be truly considered an actress.

Plot sounded sort of boring/unclear until I heard actors desciptions of it; the plot is much more exciting than bad synopsis.
