PDnim thinks being emotional is just Yelling out from top of lungs all the time. There was ZERO nuance to any character's "acting" that was just phony yelling ๐คฎ
FL is super cringey.Edit : Entire drama is cringe.
FOR REAL.
NEVER seen such dramatic OVERACTING cringe ๐คฎ
And I'm a huge Melodrama & makjang lover, where they usually are highly dramatic.
But the drama in this one was just PHONY overt the top & cringe
NOONE could act here๐คฎ. Literary NOONE. And now Ive watched the actors in other projects, they CAN ACT. It's the DIRECTOR who sucks so hard , directing them to "act" in such ridiculous phony way๐ ๐ .
Just as I begin to like Joo Won as an actor (FINALLY liked a drama of his, currently watching My Sassy Girl, and now I can see his charm suddenly lol) THE MAN HAS MULTIPLE UPCOMING PROJECTS --YAY!! ๐ฅฐ
I know right! Haven't been enyoing any recent romance dramas at all (mostly just early 2000s - max 2015), they don't write them well anymore? The old more more melo style is better?
But THIS SCREENWRITER knows how to write a good romcom! (Aka. Mad For Each Other)
Written by Mad For Each screenwriter who knows how to add depth into romcom and not just another shallow silly meaningless romcom. And FL written with more depth than usual too.
YIA's character: The Contrast between her pen name Deborah and Bo Ra makes it more interesting than just an all-powerful FL.
Eh Vincenzo way WAY better than this just very typical chaebol revenge drama (even with reincarnation yes this one was very much just like any other chaebol drama)
I still believe his romance with Moon Jae In was completely unnecessary, she was better off with Hong Tae Sung,…
I actually loved him with Moon Jae In.
I think their loveline was necessary in showing the more vulnerable, LESS IN CONTROL side of the male lead. With the other two ladies he was the one always seducing them, having them under his control; but with Moon Jae In he lost control and he ended up being the one controlled by her. It was an interesting contrast to observe. That loveline was like a character arc for ML, not just a love arc.
Don't get me wrong, his chemistry with Hong Tae Ra was a very fun bonus. Basically I think this drama is better enjoyed multishipping.
(Also imo Hong Tae Sung was too much of a mess to be good with anyone and not deserving of the FL. Needed theraphy. I mean even more than the others lol)
I was intensely summoning a blood demon to appear at that point, trip over one of Van's rock displays and crash…
Having been a Namgil fan for years I can honestly say that as much as he excels in action drama and comedy, the genre he's actually MOST suited to is Romance-melo. Watch him in Bad Guy (A Romance melo) and you'll see. I've never seen such deep expressive eyes that expresse angst and longing by any other actor.
Maybe PDs should cast him in RomanceMelo with a side of Action combo dramas and get the most of both worlds?

If it aired NOW, it would be laughed at for being super cliche & cringe ๐ ๐ ๐คฃ

It likely will ๐
So excited for this now!

Mad For Each Other remains one of my fave dramas.
But please no love triangle lol
Also hope there's romance betw their characters

I think that's the closest we've gotten to finding out.
