As an autisc woman I must confess I only picked this up because of the female lead being autistic 😅 Legal dramas normally not my thing. But turns out this was highly entertaining, no wonder it blew up so much.
She was soooooooo good in The Last Empress! Definitely needs lead roles! So happy she was cast with Jang Keun Suk now as Leads for Chronicles of Crime!

Would be actually interesting to see and more realistic, not to mention it would create shockwaves just from how much people would realize just how inaccurate their image of autism is lmao

Just like neurotypical people, MOST Asperger/Autism-lite people have average IQs 90-110 and are NOT geniuses. (Media "representation" of autistics claims otherwise and just picks the RARE genius aspies🤦🏻♀️)
That doesn't mean autistics with "only" average IQ don't have special talents or are incapable, just like Neurotypical people with Average IQ aren't incapable people with no talents.
IT GETS TIRESOME to see ONLY GENIUS ASPERGER Characters in media, as if only geniuses are worth anything and average IQ aspies are worthless because they have low social skill and no genius to compensate. It's both harmful to autistics and inaccurate.

Oh but I should clarify that by "competent" I mean actually competent, as in does the job itself well, does not count as incompetent for the job if they don't socialize well with colleagues. These days every hiring manager & boss wants every employee to have the best social skills even in jobs where it's not necessary, and be an extreme extrovert who is bffs with colleagues, which is unreasonable, people are there to do a job because they need a paycheck to eat & pay rent nothing more. This is not only unfair to autistics but to normal introverts too who get drained by meeting this extrovert demand. Unless the job is sales or politician or something actually requiring ton of social skill, this demand is unreasonable and bigoted.
