Just finished ep 7, and just want to say that if you ever catch an autistic person hired because Nepotism....no you didn't! Just look the other way and let it be, did you know that about 80-85 % ( depending on the country) of autistic people are unemployed (several research statistics, google it) because of discrimination, that means also people on the higher end with aspergers! That is an insanely high amount and totally unfair. So Nepotism hire being unfair can really only be said about non-autistics.
I like the plot also i like Namkoong Min so i hope he'll accept the offer but i wish for a prettier actress to…
I think you need to have your eyes checked lol, she IS pretty. Among the prettier ones of these new rising korean stars. Not that it even matters, acting skill matters.
What period of historical is this.??NO mention of period/year whatsoever lol.
Is it Goreon? Joseon? Or 20th century? Cause the last one tend to be good, so bored by Joseon and Goreon . Also 20th century + romance is an exciting combo!
I think I will skip this for now, it is too similar to From Now On Showtime, and that show is still so close to…
I have it the opposite way & decided postpone watching From Now On Showtime because too simialr to this drama Will watch showtime later, after watching a few dramas in between.
As a fan lf BOTH Oh Yeon Seo amd Park Hae Jin I'm eexcited for both, but ah ha too similar dramas 😅 must watch something in between
How about those of us then that CAN relate to the characters & their situations and dialogues ...Yet STILL ends…
Also I'd like to add to this that PLOT makes a HUGE difference in makjang. There are many majkang which i CANNOT STAND and others which feel like masterpieces. It heavily depends on plot and in what way they make it makjang.
For example the Upcoming Eve drama sounds mega annoying with its Bitchy-seductress FL
Also lately (thanks to Netflix expanding to Turkey/spanish language series) I'm way more into Latin-american/spanish-language telenovela and Turkish dizis which tends to more consitently offer the good type of melodrama/makjang plots which mixes Realism/slice-of-life/social commentary into melo while K-Makjang constiently the more annoying type lol
Some dramas are mega drama/super makjang and you need to be in a certain mood to enjoy them lol, for Example many Thai Lakorns and for example the mega crazy The Last Empress is a masterpiece imo but need to be in a certain mood for it & afterward need to binge comedies to heal from its crazy drama lol
The most constently good dramas offer a middle ground melodrama/makjang with deep introspections included imo
Yeah i picked it back up after putting it on hold and hoped to connect with it at last. But after three more eps…
Oh It's My First Life is introspective? I'm def adding it to my Plan to Watch then!
(I skipped it all this time because seems too annoying Love triangle heavy?)
Also Here's a LIST OF INTROSPECTIVE DRAMAS that are actually Good and not boring (I just made it inspired by this little discussion were having here about MLN☺️). :
Included in the list are TOMORROW and LA DOLCE VITA,. Two dramas I even find hard to finish, but despite this are very good and worth to watch even without necessarily finishing them (unlike MLN which isn't worth it imo)

Nope. It's not about introspections vs plot. I love introspective dramas, this one just happens to be a boring one.
Or maybe it is about plot to an extent, in that I like introspective dramas but also need them to have a plot.
There's also dramas that are both Makjang/melo/plot-heavy and introspective aka. Tomorrow, Time and La Dolce Vita, Be Melodramatic (not really makjang depaite its tilte lol but is plot heavy too despite slice if life)
The funny (wrong) assumptions you make about me as some kind of slice-of-life/introspection drama hater lol, meanwhile I'm currently very hooked on the Netflix Turkish series Love 101 which is slice-of-life/introspection heavy and actually WELL-WRITTEN and never boring (Take note MLN ahem ahem!). You just can't take criticism for what you percieve is a good drama, which not everyone can relate to.
Here's a whole List of Introspective dramas for those who were likewise bored by MLN but like introspections in dramas: https://kisskh.at/list/47ayQOvL
The makers of these actually know how to make a deep introspective drama that doesn't bore people, imagine that! 😅
Yeah i picked it back up after putting it on hold and hoped to connect with it at last. But after three more eps…
Yeah you expressed it well. I too can relate to the female lead's personality & introversion and I even love introspwctions in my stories...but THIS story in particular is just long drawn out scenes....
For people who have experienced situations and feelings similar to those of the main cast, this will probably…
How about those of us then that CAN relate to the characters & their situations and dialogues ...Yet STILL ends up very bored when watching? 😅
I think beside some 10/10 dialogues here and there this one is written very poorly.... So I end up enjoying maybe 10% of the show only but bored 90% of the time, sigh....
This is one of those dramas where you end up continuing watching despite being bored, just because still curious about the story and what will happen next while debating whether to drop because bored but end up not dropping 😅
I'm happy for the ones who actually enjoy this, but for the rest of us this is slooooooow....
No it's been pushed back for late 2022 (as in november-december ish) 😭
Yeah for the CGI... and they STILL can't make up what channel to air it on. OCN or TvN or Tving or both or...They keep changing the channel even now that filming has finished 🥱
I also wished for them, but they just never happened 🥲
Then they nearly happned in The Last Empress but show gets extended without its ML and FL put together with a psycho (who tried to kill her!) acting out of character even when it makes 0 sense. 🤦🏻♀️
We need a 3rd drama where they actually end up together 😭
That is an insanely high amount and totally unfair. So Nepotism hire being unfair can really only be said about non-autistics.
Just an autistic female's (aspergers) 2 cents.
His last drama was clearly targered at quite young viewers and his other post-military projects were just not good.
Not that it even matters, acting skill matters.

I can't deal reading the comments of that drama, too much extreme crazy type of shipping I've not seen anywhere else 😅
