How long have you been watching kdrama?

One of the VERY 1st ever kdramas I watched in like 2014 was a 150 episodes long Daily Kdrama called Melody of Love, that one alongside Healer & I'm Sorry I love You where my 3 FIRST EVER kdramas.
I heard about them RIGHT AWAY through youtube , KBS engsubs their dailies on Youtube, so accidentally discovered them through Youtube.

But since they are more popular for Koreans
(tv ratings always 10-20 + % for them) , and ifans not watching as much, I guess some of you NEVER even heard of them?!? Lol

I think Kiralik Ask, Waikiki, For Eagle Brothers and Be Melodramatic(back half of drama) are especially good and feelgood pick me ups.

For people discouraged to watch because of only 7.7 rating:

None of the dailies nor weekenders get beyond 6-7 ratings on MDL REGARDLESS if they're good or not, people on this site simply don't like Longer kdrama and the Melodrama element that they usually have.
Here they prefer short dramas, RomCOMs and Youth-centric shows.
It's a Demographics issue, that causes totally unreliable ratings for these longer kdramas.

I guess you never heard of dailies in kdrama world.....

I recall this comment section was 9k comments before, now it's at 19 k lol, 10k + comments since scandal broke out

- Was the love triangle annoying or not?

- Did they write the guy who ended up with FL in the end as Rootable/Shippable very clearly over the other guy? So essentially is it low risk of second lead syndrome?

Waiting for more roles for him after this! He's doing such a good job, he & the girl he's paired with acting better than some of the more experienced actors! (Well except the Leads, who are both total veterans)

Look at for example at the currently airing For Eagle Brothers:
only a 7.7 on this site, despite Very Good Script and a solid 9 so far, actually in the latest eps it has become a strong 9.5+, and if the quality maintains all the way to the end, I'll end up giving it a full 10.

GangSoo is going have such a tough time in the future....

- His sister-in-law will turn into his mom-in-law
- Hired by Chairman, but interested in his daughter..... Professionally complicated to be into Bom
- Liking the sister of a friend is awkward too
- A stranger will turn into his sister and his brothers will turn into strangers
- A wicked woman is found out to be his mom
- He'll feel like a Stranger to himself, after finding out, looks like a massive identity crisis is headed his way!

🥲 Poor youngest.

Though luckily Bom is totally the highly empathetic type, who can be there for him 😉

It's ok in scariness level, I'm a scaredy-cat and find it wathable 😅

in contrast..... I had to drop Sweet Home for being too gory & scary for me 😅

Seri's father is a fun villain.
Seri's mom is an ANNOYING villain. She's way too LOUD and keeps yelling!

They're both just as bad, but only one of them I actually hate, so Seri's father doesn't seem as bad,
and it's JUST because of all that loud yelling by her sheesh 😅

Yeah I ws thinking same, just because she's a woman, she's probably fully cancelled by koreans now.😓
So now they are both just working hard to at least restore his career

2cm Men need to compensate for size by becoming rich, famous and greatly admired, to forget their inadequasies, you know that saying 😅
