Not at all. It's good writing. It's simply setting them up to meet and collab through work naturally later, it was not yet a shipping setup for them yet back then.
Also they way ML saw her so casually eating and behaving in that wedding dress, was part of setting up natural behaviours between them later. To avoid FL treating him too much like a superior chairmain. Is good for them later, you'll see, it was better that they had met this way with a bit strange first impression of each other, to avoid FL treating ML just like everyone else treats him.
It took much longer for FL especially & ML too to even Remotely develop feelings. None of it is rude to the dead husband. Those of us who've watched the latest episodes would know.
Also FL is the one taking responsibility for her hudband's brewery and whole a** family would've been in trouble after his death, can't accuse her of ever being disloyal to the dead hudband, she is loyal to him forever in a way (regardless of her new romance later)through her choice in pursuing his dream & protecting his whole family for him, when he no longer can.
Maybe this is your own false impression after just 4 eps....
Also I find it a highly refreshing setUp, especially since ML is also a Widow, So this will only make them both understand each other better. But I guess some consider only Cliche romances good writing....

Ok. ORDER of Couplings happening:
1) Leads. Because Chairman is keen and a fearless, but Respectful pursuer, unlike some of these other pairings. Where one is either borderline stalkerish or one or both too passive for things to move forward. 😅 OR: Alternatively they'll add obstacles to put them together LAST OF ALL, Simply because they are the leads. It's one of the 2 options. Either Number 1 or Last. No in between! 😅
2) Mr Go & Mrs Gong I think they'll surpise everyone, and unexpectedly quickly become a thing lol Everyone at the brewery will be like "WTF?!!"😂 They are both too old and wise to delay things, and she is a flirty romanticist. They'll be a quirky funny pairing soon.
3) HG + Doctor Colleague. He'll be sad for a bit now that he realized & confirmed that Seri never liked him. Then he realizes he likes colleague in a much deeper way than he ever did Seri.
4) Gang Soo + Bom. She seems the somewhat straightforward type despite shy, even though both shy, I think she'll become more obvious about her interest to him now that they start working together. Which will also make him fall for her hard soon.
5) Dancer Brother + Hairdresser I wanted at 1st to put them 2nd to hppen, but I think mybe 1st Dancer brother will pursue a new job/path for himself?
6) Eldest brother + Convinience store woman Both are passive enough to delay their love Previously for Decades LOL. Enough said.
7) Professor+ Seri. Have most obstacles to overcome. Unless they add more obstcles to leads.
I don't understand why Seri's mom still so USELESSLY tries force HG and Seri, now that she's seen that GangSoo & Bom will become a thing. She'll have her married into Hotel family dream by fate/luck anyway. 😅

- Seri starts her own business, in collaboration with either Professor, ML's daughter or both. - Dancer brother gains love for a new career, later on he unexpectedly is the one to solve a massive problem for Eagle Brewery, despite being the "irresponsible loser brother", Which inspires him to pursue a new career alltogether, when he finds a new hidden talent. I'm thinking PR, Marketing, Sports or Life Coach, Chef, Children's Entertainer or Party Planner? - After marrying Chairman Han, while continuing the brewery, FL uses her new position to help people in need through a new nonprofit/Volunteer work or the like -Ex- Military Bro, now works in Fashion, pursues some cool fashion and military/Sports clothes hybrid path, becomes eventually the Boss of LX Fashion Sports/Menswear branch
Also having reached MIDWAY POINT NOW, old storylines will resolve and new ones begin. Can't wait! 🥰

I won't forgive the writers if they turn HG into a fool buying it.
