Maybe this drama is more for lowclass people living in smalltowns or rural areas where it's more normal to marry a crush from youth early and to totally lack ambition. 😅 Not a drama for more Cosmopolitan people who like to explore life and are curious about the world at large, and see living in a small rural island town all life as a dull hell.
Drama lacked relatability. Imo life is all about Exploration. This was the total opposite, being trapped in a small village with childhood friend is a nightmare imo

And Daily dramas & 50 eps tend to have more Melodrama element too than the shorter series.
I always add +1.5 - 2 to ratings in my head of Melodramas and longer kdramas, to get more fair rating. 7.7? Fine. That means this is really 9.2 - 9.7 😂

Chairman Han will at least postpone the wedding, who'd be keen to so quickly marry of their son to a sketchy family, who indirectly sabotaged the hotel too? And that same family told Chariman the false rumors about FL as golddiger too. Han will look at his longtime friends in new way.
And if HG & Chairman talks about it, and HG show's hesitations around mrrying her after seeing her misery....
I predict if not ep 25, then in eps 26-27 a full cancellation. Seri's mom is only delaying the inevitable, especially now that HG has noticed Seri's lack of enthusiam. HG doesn't seem the super clingy type. I think he'll soon let her go, even if Seri gets stopped from confessing.
The story has to move forward, currently it's not really doing that. Time to focus on building of mutual feelings for the Seri&Professor couple....
