The words were spoken to You Shulang, yet they sounded as if he were saying them to himself.

The above lines from the book is the time when the author explicitly hint that Fan Xiao has already fallen in love with Shulang.

It’s a bit frustrating lol. I am not angry. Fan Xiao just threatens Shulang but never does anything drastic during his wife chasing arc. He just acts like a menace..

This! The author is truly gifted. How she made a scum character likeable towards the end is truly mind blowing.. and yes.. till now the show is simply showing Fan Xiao as a villain without romanticising him and his abuse. I love this.

Omg .. BAB is torture .. this is nothing compared to BAB. I couldn’t complete that book. The last 700 pages is just endless torture…

Shulang and Zhiyang never pretends anything .. Shulang pretends with Lu Bowen in the final arc.. Zhiyang even suggests that Fan Xiao should team up with him to break Shulang and Lu Bowen up.

When does Fan Xiao kidnap anyone? What are you even saying? I am confused which book you read? Fan never kidnaps anyone…. He just threatens Shulang with people close to him.. and during that time Shulang isn’t with anyone.. you are just confusing people with these plots

She is confusing you. There is no romance with any other men.. Shulang never loves anyone after Fan Xiao. The new character introduced will be his boss who is a teenager… Shulang will just have a friendship with him.. the guy is Zhiyang and his is very immature lol. But he helps Shulang with things.. apart from him there is Lu Bowen who will appear towards the end with whom Shulang will pretend to be boyfriend.
