Am I the only one disappointed with the first episode? The screenplay is super weak, the characters are badly written, and the tone is all over the place. After the first 10 minutes, I turned on the 2x speed and still got bored. The only scene that worked was the one in the bar - and the credit for that goes to YinWar's chemistry.
Hope it gets better from the next episode. I want YinWar to get the success they deserve π€π»
Okay, this was a disappointment. The writing is juvenile, and production seems really low budget. Also, I didn't like Leng (yet).
Ohm is trying hard but it's clear he isn't being directed well. I hope things improve in the next episode. I really don't want to drop a Ohm Pawat show.
I should be angry at what happened in this episode, but I can't help swoon over this new guy. That mysterious, unhinged smile! That supreme confidence in his own sex appeal and that fearlessness in showing his desire π₯΅ I couldn't take my eyes off his face since the moment he turned up. Sukfilm has found yet another gem π
This show is messy and delicious. But the same actors in the same ambiance is a bit too much now. It's commendable that Sukfilm is trying to give us good stories on a shoe-string budget, but the same houses and the same coffee shops peopled with the same actors playing the same roles is getting tiresome.
I didn't like the last episode. Oab's actions made no sense, and the Metas-JJ story got a half-hearted conclusion. I felt the chemistry of both couples drop significantly. MetasJJ's lovemaking scene was just plain awkward. It seems like there was a different person behind the camera for this episode.
Holy basil! Holy water!! Who knew utensils falling all over the kitchen could be so hot?! It will take me some time to move on from that croquette tasting π₯΅π₯΅π₯΅
Next SailubPon show when? I'm not ready to let them go next week π
I missed Oab-Wan's chemistry today π₯Ί They both looked so worried separately all through the episode. The only time their faces brightened up was when Oab got the instant noodles for Wan. I don't mind these kinds of product placements at all π
Chef deserved to be anxious about Kleur's interest in Wan after being an ass to him in the last episode. But could Khao Suay and Kleur just disappear now? They are not only creating problems between Oab and Wan, they are also taking away precious runtime from our second couple. Coz I want MORE of Methas and JJ! It makes me giddy to watch Methas being a needy baby around JJ. And JJ can't help but care about him despite himself π A falling on each other trope next week? I'll take it! I'll take all the tropes with these two π₯°
What a perfect ending! Be happy together San and Vee π₯°
You expect lakorns to be absurd, you are ready to suspend logic and go with the flow. But even with the reincarnation plot line, this show made more sense than a lot of others. The resolution made complete sense. And I love the fact that we never knew who Wad's real reincarnation was. Coz the past doesn't matter, it's the here and now that matters. You are a rockstar Goddess Nu Wa β€οΈ
Century of Love goes into my list of BLs that I would highly recommend to everyone. So many shows mess up the ending, or become boring much before the ending. But COL started awesome and remained awesome till the end. All the characters were compelling and memorable - not just San & Vee but also others like Third, Chu, Tao, Grandmother, real/fake Wad, even the villains. Hope to see more of them and soon π€
How is it that this show makes me fall in love with all the characters? Even fake Wad! That flying kick she gave Suchat after pretending to cower before him was π€π»π And poor Doctor Tao! The way he took baby steps when Chu dragged him out with her made me scream π€£ Ton and Dr. Third are the best boys π€ But no one compares to Chu - the born Rockstar π
And then there's the way San looks at Vee! Like he can happily spend his whole life just looking at him. Such devotion π₯Ή
Congratulations Zen for snatching defeat from the jaws of victory! What perfect timing to deliver your news and send your shell-shocked boyfriend into the finals ππ»ππ»ππ»
Another thing I don't get is keeping the sexy times between Ryu and Zen under the blanket. Why?! The show is rated 21! You showed the Mob boss with his harem of naked men. But Meen and Ping only got an invisible warm hand?! What even? π€¬
This show started so promising but completely lost its way in the second half. In just a 5 minute appearance, Q ate up the whole episode. Him playing basketball alone in the rain was more impactful than all the tears the others shed.
I will remember The Rebound for Q and the Mob boss. Hope someone gives Pass and Nammon their own BL to lead. And one for our sexy coach too please ππ»
Off to watch Episode 2
Hope it gets better from the next episode. I want YinWar to get the success they deserve π€π»

Still, 7 fantastic episodes out of 8 is pretty good too. I will always love this sweet little show for introducing me to SailubPon who are now among my top 3 BL couples. Can't wait to see them again in Pit Babe 2 π©·

I hope they make a sequel coz I need to see how they deal with the aftermath of the fiancΓ©e's revenge. I will be more at peace with the happy ending when TaeHa proves that he has earned it after being a jerk for a long time.
