Why can't more BLs be lakorns? This is such a sweet and easy watch that I'm always surprised when the end credits roll. Where does the time go?
The angst is coming! But this show hasn't put a foot wrong till now so I'm not worried. I just want more of San and Vee in the same frame. I can feel their chemistry when they are just sitting side by side. God knows how I will handle it when San falls for Vee 😍
PS. Century of Love has been trending at No. 1 on MyDramalist for the last 3 days!! 😃
Ah jealousy, jealousy everywhere today. Love how petty Ryu gets when Atom is around Zen 😄 We need to thank Atom - Ryu would have taken forever to accept his feelings if it hadn't been for him.
So many ships sailed today! Now can we get a little something from the Director and Coach too? They are drinking together and reminiscing about the old times. May I hope that we will see more closeness between them eventually?
Now it's clear that Q loves Ryu too and not like a brother. His relationship with the Mob boss is quite fascinating. The boss is evil and threatens him all the time, but seems to be fond of him too. Q is turning out to be quite a tragic character really. Ryu and Zen have their youth and optimism for the future. But Q has lost his basketball dreams and is a washed out gangster now. He is trying his best to protect Ryu but all he gets back from him is indifference. I hope he gets a happy ending, though it seems unlikely at present. His talk with the Mob boss about trust is giving me a sense of foreboding.
And we are back!! The show lost its charm for me when they moved to Bangkok and Rak started treating Mut like dirt. Plus the side couple's zero-chemistry whatevership was super irritating. But thankfully they got back on track today when Mut decided to take matters in his own hands and made Rak open up to him.
Rak is totally a cat - desperately wants to be petted but behaves like that's the last thing he wants. However, our golden retriever could see right through the pretense and had the kitty purring in no time 😄 More of this please show!
PS. How is a 13-year old the most grown up person in that family? I want to adopt the little cutie and take her home 😍
I was surprised when the episode ended. Seemed like it had just started.
Poor San! Waited a 100 years for his love and then got told by him that it was a stupid thing to do 🤣 This after his whole family got to know of his 100-year long *performance* issues 😂 No wonder he walks around looking confused and grumpy. But we know Wee's sunshine smile will eventually get through the dark clouds 😇
I don't trust that relative who has been poisoning San's mind against Wee. Those thieves couldn't have got into the house without inside knowledge.
With just 2 months to go for the Goddess' birthday, it's race against time now. There are sure to be many obstacles - human and supernatural - on the way. And our boys have to fall in love again! Let's go!!
Ryu, you jerk! Stop with your mixed signals already 😡 Zen has the patience of a saint really. I didn't even feel bad for Rue when he got beaten up at the end. Serves him right for blowing hot and cold with Zen's feelings!
I thought Atom was a swimmer? How is he suddenly a top basketball player? And why did he hide it from Zen despite knowing that he is the captain of his school team? Again St. Zen asks no questions and takes this deception in his stride 😕
Another very annoying thing, but typical of teenage boys, is them not reaching out to adults when faced with a potentially dangerous situation. Ryu and Zen really think playing a last match will end it all 🤦🏻♀️ It isn't explained how Lin managed to get cops from the police headquarters to raid the match and why she didn't warn Ryu and Zen in advance.
These annoyances aside, this was a better episode than yesterday. I enjoyed the basketball matches and the team bonding. And now I want to watch Ryu burn in jealousy next week 😈
My first DaouOffroad show. And this is such a Lokorn! I'm impressed with the amount of story they put into a 1-hour episode, and it didn't even feel rushed.
Poor San. It must have been so anticlimactic for him to be faced with *that* face after waiting 100 years. The way they found him was so unserious! Poor Great-Great-Grandpa surrounded by kids (including that goofy young priest) who were treating his 100-year long search like a treasure hunt 🤣
I expected the denial and gay panic to last a couple of episodes, but dang! They could have added another 20 minutes and finished the story. So I wonder what they are planning for the next 9 episodes. The show seems to be in good hands, so I'm seated for the ride 🤗
PS. What was lovely lovely Pond doing in that bit role? It could have been played by anyone. Or is he going to turn up in this life too?
Oh this was so much fun! I dropped Pit Babe after the first episode, so all these are new faces for me. The boys are lovely and they can act too. Plus there's chemistry already! Can't wait to watch Aob melt for Plawan 😍 And it will be fun to watch JJ bring that arrogant chaebol-type to his knees too. Why can't we have two episodes a week? 😫
I loved the finale! Everything is revealed, the wrongs are righted, and our boys kiss and make up 🥰
That dream sequence was a genius! It gave us the kiss we were thirsting for, and JaeMin did nothing wrong too 😄
Now I want to see a spin-off of this show where heartbroken Tae-Ha meets someone who makes his heart whole again. Do it Sukfilm! I promise I will take the subscription again 💖

As frustrated as I am with Ryu and Zen getting close enough to kiss but not actually kissing, I'm loving the dynamics of their relationship. Zen just totally accepts Ryu for what he is - warts and all. Ryu refuses to talk about himself and Zen doesn't probe. He understands that Ryu is troubled and just supports him quietly. He gets frustrated with Ryu bull-headedness at times and tries to correct him with concern, not anger. Their push and pull comes from a place of affection, not ego.
And then there's the attraction always simmering between them. Totally love that none of them is pretending that it's not there. It's a line they are both waiting to cross - aware of the fact that it's a matter of when, not if.
As engaging as the rest of the drama is, I'm glad P'Golf remains aware that this is a romance first and foremost. The other characters, especially Q and the Coach, are fascinating too but the main event remains our adorable OTP ❤️
