I smiled through this episode. Yes it was filler but with such adorable leads, I will happily take filler anyday. Yin showed really good comic timing today and War was at his blow-hot-blow-cold best.
Did anyone else notice that when Vee knocked the buffalo down and everyone cheered, two of Mark's friends seemed to have a moment of awareness with each other?
Just when Kim starts making sense, Kamol sends him away. That too with Lop. The eternally-incompetent, delighted-to-have-the-door-slammed-in-his-face Lop! Coz his sulky princess will be so much safer in a house without even a boundary wall, right? But if this show made sense, would I love it so much? π€·π»ββοΈ
Kamol looked angelic coming down the stairs in Kim's imagination. And when he smiled on hearing Kim's voice on Baiboon's phone, my heart fluttered. The man is so whipped he called Kim 'smart' π
Baiboon continues with his predatory ways towards the ever-chivalrous Khom. That loooong hug was meant to seduce and Khom is too much of a gentleman to understand that.
Episode 8 had everything I want in my BL - sizzling chemistry, angst, and two hot guys who can't stay away from each other no matter how hard they try. Yin and War don't need to do steamy scenes to make my heart flutter, they just need stand in the same room together.
PS. War's eyes do things to me. If someone had told me before this episode that a grown up man crying on his mother's lap with his thumb in his mouth can look so hot, I would have laughed. Can totally get why Vee, Nuea and Pack are all crazy about him,
This show continues to be my happy pill. Everything is just so silly that it's adorable.
Does anyone else also find Baiboon kind of predatory? He is supposed to be the innocent high school kid and Khom is supposed to be the scary bodyguard. But when Baiboon smiles at Khom, I feel low key scared for Khom.
I'm bored. That's the bigger problem. The other problem is that showing Jimmy and Sea 's faces makes no sense when they themselves see Ohm and Nanon's faces when they look at each other
Peace out girls. I know mine is an unpopular opinion. I still wanted to say it coz whatever little I saw made…
I am judging the organizers, not the actors. For almost all of them KP is their ticket to stardom and they can't afford to say no to BOC at a time like this. I even saw a snippet of the boys dressed like Barbie dolls and I really don't feel any of them were genuinely happy to do that.
Unpopular opinion but from the snippets I have seen of the concert, they look like gigolos. Men doing strip tease / dancing half naked in the midst of thousands of screaming women.... it feels like they are aiming for the lowest common denominator.
Yes, KP was a sexy show and yes these are sexy men, but did the organizers really have to make them do this? These guys are artists and don't deserve this tasteless exploitation.
Oh that was good! I had resigned myself to expecting nothing more than dead fish pecks but the show suddenly grew up and gave us real kisses and a non-cringy NC scene. Even Kamol's acting is getting better.
UN continues to be the soap opera I didn't know I needed in my life. This is a Mills and Boon of the 70s in all its trashy glory. And I am loving it! That confrontation between Cherry and Kim - so silly and so enjoyable π Look forward to Kim falling for the knight-in-shining-armour Kamol in the next episode!
Still liking the show but am missing the sexual tension of the first 4 episodes. I don't necessarily want NC scenes, sometimes just a look between a couple is more heart fluttering. And YinWar have such good chemistry - the scene in Mark's room when Vee apologized crackled with it. However, it was too little to cover for the last 2 episodes. Hope they bring the sexual tension back in the next episodes.
Edit - Want to share my appreciation of the show's main poster above. YinWar look ethereal and the sadness+tenderness in both their gazes is β€
If Tay's boyfriend cheats on him then Tay should dump him and get together with Tankhun. Both are sweet, nurturing souls and their combined wardrobe would be one hell of a spectacle.
Thank you for the ride KinnPorsche! It was awesome.
Now my only wish is that there is no Season 2. The show ended perfectly with all the characters in a good place (except KimChay who are on their way to a reconciliation). Instead of Season 2, there should be new shows with Mile-Apo and Bible-Build. I want to see them falling in love again.
I don't know ...If those two had met only two or three months after the break-up it would have made more sense.…
Agree with everything you wrote. Jiwoo's characterisation just didn't work for me. It's like he knows that he is a mediocre man who by some stroke of luck is loved by an extraordinary man. Instead of feeling grateful for this stroke of luck, he resents Seo Joon for being extraordinary. But wants his love too. That's just.....selfish.
TMS2 would have been a masterpiece if it was just 6 episodes long (first 4 and last 2). Those 4 extra episodes of nothing but suffering for Seo Joon (and me as a viewer) felt unjustified by Jiwoo's puppy-faced apology and Seo Joon prompt forgiveness. Can 1 year of emotional torture be forgotten just like that? Maybe it can be by someone perfect like Seo Joon, who am I to judge.
And I guess the message of the show was that to maintain a relationship one person needs to do all the adjusting and understanding. PilHyun's relationship with his wife was also about him doing all the emotional heavy lifting. The contrast was Yoo Ha's mother who preferred to be happy alone rather than being in an unfulfilled relationship. I loved that the show didn't judge anyone for their life choices.
All in all, I was way more invested in Season 2 than Season 1. My biggest complaint is that I couldn't understand Ji Woo's characterisation in both seasons, even though I am an extreme introvert myself.
KP- I dont mind them, funny enough I wasn't crazy for the pool scene. It was still nice to see though. Porsche,…
Unpopular opinion but I feel another actor playing Porchay would have made this couple pop more. This Porchay doesn't have the face of a romance protagonist. I'm not saying he is not good looking, just that his face and eyes do not have romance in them yet.
