Very rarely do I have a visceral gut reaction about wanting to punch someone, but that mean bully girl, just makes me want to split my knuckles every time I see her. Her acting is so good and the lines are so blurred, it's like I'm not watching an actress play out a part, but a honestly mean person in real life. Fantastic acting by her...and if she picks a more likable role next time and is just as convincing, then she might be the next big thing to come out of Korea since kimichi...*gasp*(whoops, I probably exaggerate.)
I think Heirs was so bad, people over-exaggerate how good Woo Bin was in it. Compared to the others, I can see why he's the favourable option - but in my view, his acting wasn't enough for me to stick to the end (or even fast forward to his bits.) Choose a better drama, next time Binnie, and I might give you a chance! :) He was good in School 2013.
I always say if you want to meet Mr. Perfect, then you better be Miss Perfect. Otherwise accept his flaws, accept yours and see if you're a compatible match.
Jang Geun Suk is overhyped. i never liked him but tolerated his acting. You can say he do not play annoying role.…
He isn't overhyped, he's typecast. He's been pigeon-holed into playing effeminate characters that people are bored of. Such a pity, because I think he's talented. Just shows...even good actors need to make wise choices!
are they twins ? or not i m confused , if twins how can they talk like falling
So Ra's character doesn't know who her mom is, sees an old picture, finds out she might be a twin, goes to find him, he collects hair for DNA sample...but if it WAS a match, I think he would've contacted her...I'm assuming the DNA test happened in the bg (the viewers didn't see it) and it was a no match...but he remembers her as that kooky girl, who turned up professing to be his twin...
Fishing a shoe out from a little stream, that's covered with horse poop...that just about sums up how confusing and random the 1st episode is, yet very entertaining! Some of the bits were just funny :)
Many child actors are good, they frequently are my favourite portion of dramas, and yet in the adult arena, the talent isn't as strong. To surmise, children are written as compelling, and adults are given flimsy, whimsical plots with the female leads in particular, dumbed down. Even now, as I watch School 2015 : Who are you, I am watching this very talented actress being forced (well, you know what I mean) to partake in arm-grab scenes (where the male grabs her wrist, swings her around, drags her after him, and she's following after him like a mindless puppet)...which is what 99% of adult drama females have to contend with at one point or another and I dislike. They're already pouring her into a mould....starting to give her cliches that the adults have to contend with...but her flame. Her flame is bright, and I will never forget her performances in IHYV, TMTETS, and MY. Her future is all about good role selections now. They are out there!
I didn't really like his acting in Warrior Baek Dong Soo (he played it OTT, in my opinion and was outshone by other male actors) and I wasn't crazy about him in the first couple episodes of Healer, but he slowly won me over. I think he's good at action and very good with switching intensity, but like Joo Won, he leaves me confused to whether he's brilliant (genius, even) or he just uses various intensity levels to throw us off, and he's actually a above par actor but with improvements to be made. Anyway...that's my balanced opinion of him! Ji Chang Wook may have to do another drama, for me to truly go one way or another! But he did good in Healer ♥ And he does awesome kissing scenes!
The ending episodes are a little rushed, and it kept our fav couple apart for too long, but the middle is enough for me, to say this drama was good! Solid 8/10.
Here's how I felt. First 2 episodes - amazing. Next two...this is descending into cliche territory. I stopped…
I picked up the drama again, and it's one of the best drama decisions I made in my life. It was at ep 10, I saw something special enough to be addicted. And now...I'm on ep 17 on the same day...and it's likely I'll finish the drama, b4 the day is out. You're right. The romance is jaw-droppingly good. I mean, I started off rolling my eyes, but those kisses...and I replayed the beginning of qp 15, over and over again when he kisses and hugs her (but he thinks he's dreaming)...and Moon Shik. What a gift of a character,,,he reminds me of Severus Snape, a villain which keeps on giving. He's bad to core, except for his "love" for Myung Hee. I stand corrected, BB78. Best drama of 2014 BY A MILE...(though I still haven't finished that's ok, it's love yet...) WOW.
Also the male lead did have more to him! He wanted to avenge his father, and find the real killer...so it made his character more awesome to me. Surprisingly, when the romance started going, I wanted it to be ALL romance, than having to watch the others...LOL. But they were all perfect!

Au contraire, romance dramas are the ones I watch most.I love romance, are you kidding? It's just that I like complex characters who have romance more...so that means, they have other things going on, than romance at the time. You still haven't answered my question...does the male lead have a little plot with ajumma (or anyone else really) that shows he has more interests than just the girl (and going to meet these guys, because he feels his girl is being threatened doesn't count)... Surely he must have...and why will I think you're criticizing me? lol. As you said, I'm just asking for guidance :)
Here's how I felt. First 2 episodes - amazing. Next two...this is descending into cliche territory. I stopped at the end of episode 6, and it's still on my hiatus list. My problem? The premise started out exciting, but when it got to the "Clark Kent" switcheroo thing, I felt it was a poorer version of Superman, with showboating action scenes. And I don't like it when such a guy, who originally sounds so promising in his introduction, suddenly alters his life so it's revolving around a girl. Park Min Young is pretty cute...but...sigh. I wish so hard sometimes, that I can get through dramas on looks and predictability alone. But I would have to be 13 for that...maybe someone can convince me, the male lead has more strings to his bow, and he gets out of the Clark Kent phase...and he has a secondary plot, that doesn't involve the female lead? So there's more to him, than just running after a girl? Please, thanks! :D
since (docnty) and his alternative personality (DitzyBlonde_weR1) used crude language i will not reply if i did…
OMG. You're right. How didn't I see it before? THEY ARE THE SAME PERSON. They even have the same writing patterns/habits, there's no attempt to disguise it. I guess we're being taken for fools, huh? :D
I honestly can't take anyone's opinions seriously, if they're using childish comments like, "I HATE HER, SHE IS THE PERSON I HATE MOST." This is a forum for actors. Critique people for their acting skills (some people seem to have the right idea) rather this actress, as a person. Else I will think there are ulterior motives at hand....I mean, I'm gonna go out on a limb here, and say I've yet to find ANY Korean actress that I will place in my top 200 list. That's because the scriptwriting for females suck. So what's so special about this one?
Please see my spoiler comment, I don't think it's that at all.
Great article...I see your points.
