Omg. I came here to read the aritcle, and I spent several minutes fixated on that GIF of Min Ho taking a steamy shower. As I'm typing this, I'm still watching the water pour down his salacious body (is salacious even a word? at this point, i don't even freaking care.)
bloody hell. i don't even normally take an interest in scenes like that.
Wow, I'm away from the K-drama world for a couple of months, and I log in today, to find this piece of heartwarming…
I don't know about you, but what KeyEast (who are meant to be fighting in his corner) said is pretty damning. One physical altercation? Her rib was broken when they were "playing around?" Why would KeyEast say that.
Ironically his managment needs better management, or they need to give out a statement on behalf of their star that purports his innocence (even hitting her ONE time, shatters that innocence...unless it was self-defence? KeyEast weren't very clear with this crucial detail which is why they'd should've kept stum and wait for the full police investigation to come out.)
I'm not exactly dancing, you know, happy at his downfall. I WANT him to be the good guy. If he is, then great! But I'm not blind either, and I'm going to keep reading on this case until it reaches a conclusion.
Wow, I'm away from the K-drama world for a couple of months, and I log in today, to find this piece of heartwarming news. Naturally, I visited a lot of sources and read up on it. Disappointed in KHJ.
Though I never fangirled over him, he was in my first K-drama, and my friends loved the bits out of him. I even printed out his pictures and stuck it all over one of my friend's birthday card. God. I don't wish him ill or any harm, but I think he needs to step back (after being jailed) and work on his issues. He also shouldn't enter any relationships for a while.
I've never looked at an idol, and refused to hear any bad words about them, because some of the most charismatic of faces can harbour the ugliest sins of human nature. But I can't lie. It's shocking when you find out, but never EVER discredit the victim until she or he's been disproven. No idol is worth throwing out the morals you hold, and I hold them pretty fiercely.
Reunion alert!! The main leads were cast in "Sucessful Story of a Bright Girl" 12 years ago!!!! It really seems they were "fated" to star in this drama together. I hope the chemistry is still as sizzling :P
Your venom is unappreciated here, young miss. I see the only ugliness, is reflected deep in your soul. It's not too late. Go out into the real world, meet real people who range in beauty and size, grow as a person. You will become more enlightened and accepting, which will make you less bitter, and a more pleasant person to be around. Wishing you all the best for your endeavours x
I'm at episode 19 at the moment. What a joy to be a marathon-watcher. I know for a fact, if I'd been watching whilst it was airing, I would've abandoned this midway. Now, I'm addicted bad. Am compulsively clicking on the next episodes, even though I don't know why this drama is so special. I originally was thinking the main lead was a Gary Stu, but he's still lovable. The only character irritating me a little bit, is the eonni...she shouts too much. But other reviewers say she calms down a lot, so I'm looking forward to it!
I've just watched him in 49 Days and Secret Love, but... why does he play the bad role?!! Get a good, wise one…
Those two dramas single-handedly makes him the best korean actor out there, thankfully not everyone's cottoned onto yet, because their eyes are stilled turned by the flower boys O.o
He brings a complexity to villain roles, unlike any I've really experienced before. Usually they're stock characters, not room for shades of grey, but Bae Su Bin manages to portray a naive, good-hearted person who gets corrupted ovet time in both dramas. It's extremely compelling to watch.
(49 days - He falls in love with the best friend, and gets drawn into this "revenge" scheme, which eventually makes him loose his faith in love. Secret - wants to rid the world of all it's problems, but is much of a coward, which eventually transforms into a cruel-hearted streak...and even then...he brings hues to the role!)
I enjoyed the first 2 episodes. It has every cliche in the book running, but I'm a sucker for them if fleshed out well. Lee Hong Ki....he's winning me over. Mutiple times, I feel like the role will be better suited to someone more adept at playing cold-hearted, but his intrepretation leaves me satisified for now.
PS: That ajumma peeing all over the floor when hitching a piggyback, made my day! :D:D Love the humour
Maybe. Am a glutton for punishment after all :D It'll be funny if they make Ae-Ra begging in the dumpsters, only because it'll make me think "Serves you right for being such a shallow numpty"
Disclaimer: The above opinion bears no altitude on how I REALLY feel about homelessness. It's a terrible thing that can happen to anyone, all it takes is for a freak weather occurence for eg.
The synposis makes it sound like she's only going after her ex-husband again because he's rolling in money...I'm so iffy when it comes to things like that.

lol...your blacklisted actresses. Opinion on Suzy Bae that bad? Everyone was wittering on about how gr8 she is, in Gu Family Book, much better than previous dramas. I didn't stick around long enough for her (lol) but true opinion? Please?
Also no blacklisted actors? A bit one-sided, I think. Becoz there's plenty out there.
PS: You're missing out with Kim Sun Ah. "Scent of a Woman" was great. But hey. Just me then!
Just to let you know...
Vampires/Ghosts/Werewolves/Zombies...paranormal.
Aliens (Robots, Future stuff basically)....Sci-Fi.
Witches/Goblins/Leprechauns (lol)...Fantasy.
Thank you for letting me know about these three! Sounds interesting?
Feel tempted to pick up Cruel City again now...I loved it so much first time round, until like an idiot, I read a couple of spoilers....but who the hell cares! I'm going back to watch it!! This just re-confirmed it :)
I adored Secret Love...though I put the last 3 episodes on hold. I do that, when I'm sad about a drama ending :/
Master's Sun...probably overated, yes. But if you don't read anything beforehand, I think it'll be a pleasant surprise. (I dropped MS after ep 2....it was only the comments on here, that made me pick it back up...so it's a double-edged sword. After reading comments, I either stop entirely (Cruel City) or pick it up again (Master's Sun.)
Didn't like FBND...dropped it. Dropped TWTWB too. It was great acting, but I'd seen the film yonks ago, so I knew where it was going...
Great article...thanx for reintroducing me again to Cruel City! kisses, kisses
Asian dramas definitely occupy a niche, and I love them for doing it. I LOVE the pure innocence they capture in the romance; though 90% of the time I'm irritated by the childishness (when it gets too much, though I suppose it goes hand in hand with innocence.)
I do not watch a lot of American TV (used too), but I don't watch a lot of Asian either. Both are lovely to dip into, but I can perfectly well abstain from both, for months at a time. It's scary when I think about it!
FBND...Loved the premise, but even with a social recluse/hermit at the centre of an unconventional romance, the…
(continued) Whenever I dislike something, I say to myself, "Well, imagine if I was 14! Would I have liked it back then?? Chances are...yes. And just because the older me is more jaded, and hyper-critical, doesn't mean younglings out there, who are watching dramas like this for the 1st time aren't getting their brains blown out by the sheer awesomeness of it all."
And then I secretly hope the 14-year-old version of me would've felt the same :)
lol. This is all a big joke. No-one take it seriously :D

Good luck with Part II if you go ahead with it, kre?
Chemistry is great between everyone. Brilliant.
I agree Voldie deserves a free pass, cause he totally rocked that orphanage, horcruxes, muggle-hater look.
But these guys? Needs improvement, though the best villains invariably are ones with a conscience, however small!
;D
