Whoa! It's like Seo Eun Ha is a different woman! To gain that much leverage in one episode, had me highly impressed, and then in one fell swoop, getting Min Woo to see he's not crazy. I almost can't believe it. I'm glad to have watched ep 11.
Ep 1 is a bit awkward during the romance parts, but ep 2 picks up the pace considerably. They should try to keep…
Haha, you must've mistaken the paragraph I wrote as seriousness, when in all honesty, all I fancied was a jolly good chinwag :D For me, the generic start and blandness of their romance (filled with SO many cliche tropes) was perfect, because I liked how under the intense questioning of the police, it suddenly came across sinister and filled with ulterior motives. It created a nice juxtaposition of how the ordinary, can be seen in a completely different angle, highlighting the contrast between reality and someone else's perceived reality. For me, it was not a sad setup at all. There was nothing sad about it, except she goes missing, and although the audience suspects who could be behind it, it's more a premise full of mystery, rather than trying to get a tearjerker going. Not once did I feel sad, watching both episodes. Just intrigued.
Haha. Young people can be jaded too. You're talking to someone who drops dramas, because I'm such a cynical wotsit. I don't even know if I'll even finish THIS drama...but it has my interest for now.

I thought the romance parts were beautiful. I wouldn't even call it romantic. Just a guy, proposing to a girl, and she gets kidnapped before she can tell him, yes, and we're having a baby O.o It sets up the premise very well. And the episode length - 60mins - is just perfect! Exactly the same as SBS/KBS channels...I don't get your point? Do you prefer the shorter slots that TvN do? But I thought everything was paced well, and cutting it, would remove some important plot points. Oh well!...Maybe your version of pacing is different to mine.
I'm actually able to enjoy this drama because Jisook's lack of backbone, which everyone keeps pointing out, makes…
I think people's original complaint was that she was "strong" in the beginning, as in she attempted multiple times to escape Seok Hoon, by climbing out her window via curtains/bedsheets, went to a police station, drank something that made her sick etc etc...she didn't just accept Seok Hoon's demands, and become a doormat. This impressed a lot of people!
I think in the subsequent episodes (ep 5 to 9), they were frustrated to see that side of Ji Sook disappear (understandable) and she started cowering, not making eye contact, not being consistent as she'd be strong/assertive one second, and then back to being simpering the next. I think the writer wanted to stretch this out, to fill the 20 episodes and it was getting too long for some people. At least show a little progression in each episode, and not negate it with contradictory scenes (I can expand this thought further, if you want, just ask^^). But in ep 10...it has finally come. Good! Long may it continue!
I dropped it. It's not the story. It's the lead actress. I can't like her, I tried but I really can't. It's like…
Well, it's no worse than Heirs I can tell you that...it's 100x better, but maybe I'm exaggerating because I despised Heirs, and dropped it pretty quick. Pinocchio showcases her best acting since Heartstrings in my opinion (perhaps surpasses it)...and it has loads of bad reviews??? Really? Well, I guess make up your mind yourself...give it a try! :D

I'm surprised you managed to complete The Heirs :) Well done! I mean the lead actress's character was dreadful in that...lol, and I like Park Shin Hye! Have you seen Pinocchio?
I can't understand why everyone loves this drama. I just dropped it after 15 minutes! It was so boring and the…
I stuck it out for 11 episodes! 11! By the end I wanted to scour my eyes out with spatulas...I remember having that exact thought at that time. The first four episodes were ok...the body switch was not as funny as it could've been...but my biggest problem, like LittleWarrior said, was that the male lead turned into a stalker, that took it upon himself to buy her new beds w/o her permission, and kept repeating himself, "I will only like you until I'm fascinated with you. Then I will drop you.." Over and over and OVER again. Blimey. How did everyone else manage to stand it?
I can understand if this was ur first drama...I mean hell - I finished Boys over Flowers before I knew any better! But veteran drama watchers? IDK...maybe they just like body switches or Hyun Bin or something.
i still cant decide to watch or not! there isnt much what i want to watch becuse i i saw most of the dramas. I…
Don't beat yourself up about it. Different strokes for different folks. It's like how I can't force myself to watch Secret Garden, but yet the majority of people on here love it. If you're just not feeling it...you're not feeling it.
Although I'm a Kim So Hyun fan, and I thought that bully girl was fantastic (her acting, I mean) - by the fifth episode, I wasn't invested enough in the plot to continue except to find out if Eun Bi/Tae Gwang happened. Well, it looks like I've got my answer guys! Dropped at episode 5. (Though to be fair, if that ship DID happen...I don't know if I'd still have come back.)
Everyone is putting on a "mask" - that is, they're projecting a version of themselves that is not true. In Ji Sook's case - her mask goes one step further. She assumes someone else's identity - in the binary world, of passports, ID, deeds, driving license etc etc. She is wearing the "ultimate" mask.
