i don't think taishin comes off as childish though. yes he is naive and softhearted, but his demeanour is still…
His personality is key here tho. Also, like I said...socially awkward at best. Honestly, you don't have to like my opinion. It's mine & that's what I think of him based on irl experience. So you're kinda losing time trying to convince me otherwise. But thanks for your opinion.

I'd say it's debatable if adults behave like this irl. This is an expected behavior from a shy 8yo, not a 18-19yo. I'd fully understand if it was a show about a person on the spectrum (and then I'd say the character was portrayed amazingly believeably), but this is really too much for just being shy.
I never said he was dumb. He is just portrayed as extremely socially awkward. To the point that it's getting on my nerves, cuz I'm not sure this is how he was supposed to come off as . I haven't read the manga, but my bf has, and said Taishin's manga image had a bit of a different vibe.
idk.,..usually I like Japanese bl shows, but Taishin's character is that of a 8yo, not a college freshman. It's starting to annoy & creep me out at the same time.
Why Iβm a not feeling bad for yj? I tried to understand his pov but he behaved like he did something wrong &…
No, it actually makes YJ look like somebody who is scared. And narcs aren't scared. Nobody's a saint, but YJ hasn't shown any narc traits yet. But if you think he has, I'd be interested to hear what was it?

Yeah, I'm not convinced. MK looks like a classic narcissist to me. And the best way to leave a narcissist without risking ur emotional & potentially physical health is to completely cut them off. We don't know the details, so we don't know whether in the past MK had displayed toxic behavior to such extent that YJ couldn't stand it anymore (because he sure is displaying it now). I actually think YJ is holding up reasonably well for what MK is doing. Of course a better way would be to ignore MK completely, which YJ tried, but that can't necessarily be done on a tv show. If you look at the pattern of how partners of narcissists usually leave them, more often than not they just vanish into thin air, because any other option would result in threats, begging, accusations, and generally a huge fight. They are just scared, because narcissist are unpredictable in the worst way - which would explain YJ's behavior. Having said that, nobody here can with 100% certainty say that MK is a narcissist, because it's impossible to perform an accurate assessment of his character thru a tv show lol, but he sure behaves like one.
Tbh, I really don't like the type of person Seong Min turned out to be. Just a selfish self-absorbed dude trying to score on 3 fronts at the same time & playing the victim π. It's just screams fake attention seeker to me.
Myeong Gyun is right behind him - I guess at this point we all know he is a narcissist who can't get over the fact that his ex dumped him, and would rather ruin his life instead of seeing him happy with someone else. I just feel bad for YJ and Hanmin, cuz this mess is too much only 3 days into building any relationship.
i mean he aint wrong!!! The guy has "creppy stalker" written with bold letters on his forehead!!!
There was a dude once I had met through a friend who somehow got my number and would hmu once in a while trying to see if I wanted to hang out. I didn't. Finally this one time he says "let's hang out" and I say "I'm out with my buddies", to which he replied "no you're not, I can see ur car in the driveway" π¨π¨π¨ I'm sorry...you can WHAT??? Needless to say, blocked.

Word. If a guy showed up at my house to "spend time with my fam", without asking me first if he could visit, I'd be like dude wtf??? get ur 3letters out of my life - and fast!
HAHAHAHAHA. Here I thought it was one of the most interesting developments in the first episode of a BL show in a long time, but turns out he was just dreaming.
I'm tired of reading these types of comments about Ping... Although I like the dynamics of MingPing (and liked…
They can act only as well as good the script is - that is actually very well said. The Rebound is a testament to that. So far, it's a much better show compared to their previous series. I actually didn't mind their acting in My Dear Gangster Oppa so much as in Ai Long Nhai (both Meen & Ping have fortunately become much better since), but what I truly minded in both series were the absolutely atrocious direction and screenplay.

So you say that you are a credible source. Good for you. Still not a credible source to me. And I'm not saying those interviews videos etc. didn't happen, or that the actors hadn't actually said what you claim they had. I'm just explaining what is, or rather isn't, a credible source. And a credible source is NOT you saying you saw a video in which somebody had said something.
Also...."So i said this bcs as a fan i know the info better. " Rightπππ You know I saw a unicorn yesterday. But no, I really did. It was pink, purple & yellow and peed sparkly orange juice. I'm a fan of unicorns, so there is no way I'm making this up right now lol.
I never said they played in Not Me for money. Actually, I said the opposite - that they likely play in romcoms for money, and mostly because that's what they tend to get cast in. I think they perhaps wish they had more options like Not Me, but that's speculation so I'm not going as far as to actually bet on it. But they get B-class romcoms instead. It is what it is. It's called being pigeonholed. I think reading with understanding would do you well π
Perhaps The Trainee is popular in Mexico and Italy, I'm not saying it isn't. But on MDL its statistics are meh. Having said that - who knows - it's only starting. That might still change. My opinion of the show might also still change if it turns out to be great. That's why I decided to base my previous comment on Cooking Crush, which finished airing some time ago, and its statistics are still VERY meh. Just sayin...

About child actors - a person I know well owns a young actors agency. Some of the children they manage are very well-known "naturally gifted" actors. You wouldn't believe how much training they receive from a very young age, and it usually starts with their parents asking them to take part in home videos. Yes, some people are born gifted, but they are all trained. Same way as you don't become a great painter without learning how to draw first, even if you are born gifted. If you don't believe me watch a show acted out by amateurs, and you will see the difference.
Personally, I actually think Ping's gotten way better. Neways, no need to put people down.
in case of some actors, they're just born to act regardless of age but for others they have to put in more effort…
Agreed, there are indeed amazingly gifted people out there, born with an inherent ability to act. But they are a promile. And they are still trained. The vast majority of actors has some talent and just learns how to act.
