I made the mistake of watching ep 17. I should have waited for more eps. It is not even 15 min. It is more like…
it's so becoming a vertical drama.

True. I hope the succeeding eps will not be as bad as the recent.

in short version is worse. he don’t know her identity until the ends of eps..maybe 5 second lol really waste…
Oh no! I hope that will not happen here. It will be a total wasted potential of this drama if that happens.
On Love in the Edge of Divorce Jan 17, 2025
This started really good with overloading kisses and intimate scenes. I mean, for a romance buff like me, this is a gem. However, the last 2 eps. just went downhill a bit. I'm just hating the fact that hiding FL's identity to ML is stretched too long already. It's already irritating and FL's character is not pleasing to me at this point. And yes, I really hope they won't do things the vertical drama way, wherein, the child won't know he's real father not until the finale. It would be better for ML to know his wife sooner so they can battle all the upcoming attacks of antagonist as a couple.

Hmm i don't trust the sister. She want the ML.Wit so many episodes, i wonder how the writing will go.I hope ML…
I hope not for the time jump. I mean, it will literally be like just any other vertical drama if that happens.

It's your typical HS crush sweet drama. Honestly, I enjoyed this because of the SC. I liked how they started innocently to get into a relationship. They even become an official couple earlier than the MC. And yes, Shen Yi is a total green flag. I really liked everything he did for NianNian in her lowest times. I think he's more capable than the ML, tbh. As for the MC, lots of heart fluttering moments with them. No major hindrances, just some miscommunication. I loved the full support of FL's family to ML. Gave this drama an 8.0 rating. I love the ending. Kids are always adorable. Chemistry is definitely there. But, this is just so slowburn for the MC. Like, the kiss happened on ep.13. MC also became an official couple on the so latter part of the drama. Could have given a higher rating if only the MC became official on an earlier part of the drama. And yes, given that MC is cohabitating, I was hoping for more intimacy by the MC. However, they acted as if they were just like HS students, so innocent, It felt like they were still in HS and not as adults being in love.
Overall, this is still recommendable who enjoys sweet fluffy cute drama.

I'm here for DGZ. Storyplot didn't peak my interest. Chemistry of the leads seems a bit bland for me. Kisses were decently executed as expected for a DGZ drama. Intimacy was there but not sizzling enough. Felt the ending was rushed and forced to have that HE. It's a 7.5 for me. Fair enough for the kisses rendered.

So true.

This was my first time watching a Kdrama in a long time and I was so hopeful for this one. The poster got my attention…
That's another thing about Kdrama crime tropes. The killings and the abuse they do mostly on children are always showcased in their dramas which conveys not a good message to the audience. Thanks for pointing that out. I hope so too that Kdramas should revive their good fantasy romcoms where they're good at, like their classics Goblin, My Love From Another Star, Rooftop Prince, Strongwoman Do Bong Soo, Wightlifting Kim Bok Joo and the like.

I'm basically here for Cheng Yu Feng. After watching a few of his dramas, I know this guy can pull-off a real deal kiss scene. This drama didn't fail me so. The intimacy surely was on fire.
I'm really not into time travel dramas, so, the storyplot didn't really peak my interest. It's a mini series, so, I didn't expect much of what the story can offer. Thought it had a good start, but the ending was just confusing for me. I guess, for a limited time, the writer wasn't able to convey the main reason how and why the time travel occured for the characters. Overall, gave this a fairly 7.5

The ML lost weight for season 2, looks a lot better. He’s actually very good looking and the costumes are amazing.…
Yeah, I noticed too that ML kinda lost weight in S2. I haven't finished it yet. Got kinda bored midway with all the politics involved in the drama. I also noticed the change in actors for Xiao Zhan's role. I'm not a fan of him anyway. So, the changes doesn't matter. I'm really not interested in Time Travel dramas. I got first introduced in frozen capsule theme when I watched the Kdrama Melting Me Softly. That idea got.me hooked too on this drama. Sadly, it wasn't emphasized in this drama.

This is too underrated. Weak storyplot. But, the chemistry between the MC is just on fire. Good execution of kisses. I liked that the MC have lots of sweet moments together. And yes, a satisfying ending for me. With that, I'm giving this an 8. FL and ML are both gorgeous. I've seen Cheng Yu Feng mostly in short mini series. He never failed to execute good hot kisses.

Any romantic scenes between 2ml and fl??
I wouldn't exactly see it romantic but starting to show signs towards the ending that 2ML is trying to hint that he likes FL.

Title Married Spoiler
I thought this will be something like The World of Married. But, the story focused more on the legal and corporate aspect. Forwarded most of the episodes. Not satisfied with the ending. Like, the mistress could have been sued for concubinage. It just felt sad that the kid always suffer with this kind of storyplot. And yes, not only adultery but physical abuse could have sentenced the husband longer in jail. Being pushed thru a glass door that almost killed the person is already attempted murder. In addition for the attempted murder as well of the Divorce lawyer Mo. I can only give a rating of 6.5 for this drama. Not convincing enough on the husband's punishment.

Definitely here for DGZ. Just on ep. 9 and the FL keeps annoying me. First, the acting is too bad. Second, the character protrayed. Like why keep on pretending blind when everything has already been revealed and ML knew that she was pretending. And yes, another pretending blind FL. Like, can't they think of another character for FL? So patterned with Forever Love and its annoying. I plan to put this on hold, come to think of it, I might just drop anyway. Will look forward to see DGZ, hopefully, on a differerent story plot, better yet, full length too.

Here's my take on this drama after completing S1. It's my first time to watch Zhang Rou Yun in a drama. I must admit, he nailed his role as Fan Xian. Not the typical ideal ML I would like comparing to the looks of Xu Kai, Zhang LingHe and the like. ZRY has his own charm that he can pull off while acting cutesie to his FL's. I've seen the rest of the cast in other dramas so I've more or less have the idea on what to expect with their character in this drama.
The story premise has a really good potential. I enjoyed the comedic factor of the drama. Also the plot twists and yes, the sci-fi aspect to it. I was hoping to get more indepth story on it. Like, It would be great if the freezer capsules were showed in the drama.
Honestly, it started strong for me. I thought the romance will be sustained till the end since it was very slow burn. Sadly, the romance took a backseat in this drama. This could've been tagged as reverse harem since the 3 women involved with ML I believe we're all into him. So, the story went downhill for me when ML arrived in Beiqi if I remember the place name right. It got draggy since then. Plus, the absence of Uncle WuZhu a bit midway lost my interest. I really like the mystery of his character like why he doesn't age at all. The political aspect was interesting at first, but, the continuous twists just made the drama going far to its initial intent of discovering ML's roots and marrying Wan'er. The ending of S1 was a great disappointment for me. I know there's more to expect for S2&3, but it could have ended in a more subtle way I believe. I find S1 overrated. I can only give this a 7.5. And yes, a kiss only for 1 ep. And too minimal scenes for the MC. Lots of loopholes to question too. That I noticed ML lost his strong Qi towards the latter part of the drama. I even admired that in the beginning and why he kinda lost his touch in Beiqi? I also don't like Xiao Zhan's character as Bin Yun if I remember the character name right. He might be an important character to ML but he's worst than those corrupt officials who would turn a blind eye just for the sake of his pledge of loyalty to Nanqing. His character may have something cooked up for S2 but, I simply dislike his character in S1. Overall, I'm still confused with the story flow. This is definitely not a time travel drama so the tag for it should be removed. And yes, I want to know if he was also a frozen capsulated human or just a simple writer of the modern era telling a very imaginative story just for the sake of his job.

The story was good. I didn't mind that it was a slow burner. Just the fake or no kisses were a pity. The ML is…
I wonder why he does not do intimate scenes with his FL's in his dramas? Is he married? I know one actor who avoids kisses and skinships in dramas to protect their marriage.
I must agree, he is indeed very good looking. Coincidentally, he has the same birthday as Xu Kai, March 5th only Kai is 5 years younger than him.

I was able to complete the drama in one sitting. I think the storyplot was kinda messy. Like, it confused me in the beginning. I thought this was another time travel drama, but it's not. The shooting set of the 2 FLs got me confused. I guess, it was an editing problem. Like, the series of events and flashback doesn't fall into its right place. I even thought this was a dark drama based on the story progression, then again, it's not.
Romance is too slow burn. Given a 16eps mini series, MC became official at ep.13 if I'm not mistaken. Minimal skinships and yes, kisses aren't executed well for me. Overall, gave this a 7.0. Even the friendship of the 2 FLs is quite confusing. I mean, they shared the same BF at some point. Definitely there's a lack of communication there if they are really friends, you don't know that you have the same BF. WTH?!!!
Still, the drama gave a HE. And yeah, I liked the Englsh OST. It sounded like a song in the drama Goblin.
On The Rise of Ning Nov 18, 2024
Title The Rise of Ning Spoiler
I'm so definitely here for Zhang Wan Yi. This is the 3rd drama I watched him as ML. And among the 3, his character here is way better comparing to the 2 dramas of him that I've seen. (AYTO and LYF).
As for the FL, not really a fan of her character. I find her being too spoiled not only by the ML, but also the Luo and Wei Family. Not to mention her voice. I know most of the people are annoyed by her voice. I guess, I was able to tolerate it. It feels like I'm watching Esther Yu and listening to her voice. I enjoyed the characters of the Luo Fam, specially Lin Hairu, the glutton and goose couple and Yes, Duke Ying, who made me teary eyed during the MC's wedding.
Good storyplot, I was a bit confused by Lu Jia Xue's character in the beginning. Like, how he has been related to FL, when all we see are flashbacks. Glad, it was explained towards the finale. His fate towards the end was quite predictable given how pathetic his character was. I had to skip the politics part as I'm not interested on it. The sibling relationship between the MC was stretched too long till the end of the drama. The revelation of them being not bloodly related doesn't give it's value, since the FL still addresses him 3rd brother till the end. Honestly, the romance is too cutesie for me. It doesn't feel like adults are getting married here. Both for the MC and SC. I'm kinda looking for fire and passion. Unfortunately, this drama was too lacking on that. almost none skinships and kisses were very poorly executed. I should have given this a 7.5 for the romance but gave a fairly 8 for the good storyplot.
Overall, I'm not sure if I can still look forward to ZWY's dramas. I like him as an actor. I'm mesmerized by his voice TBH. But, the characters he portray are always conservative. Like he can't even give fiery kisses to his dramas. He's giving me an Allen Ren vibe, who always avoid skinships in his dramas. Oh yes, this drama is too slow burn if I may add. I stayed for the good story but will not recommend if you're into fiery romance. This is just a too cutesie drama to watch if I may say.
