I almost dropped this drama because of the not so good storyline in the beginning. But, after I saw Cui Yu Xin's abs I think arnd eps.8 if I'm not mistaken. I'm in and got hooked till the end. CYX was totally hot as ML. I believe he should be given more dramas with good storyline. Hopefully, more skinships drama for him. Honestly, I'm not a fan of the FL or even her character here as Jiang Lai. I just don't like the fact that she solve her financial issues thru scheming or should I say scamming people. And yes, ML easily forgives her and even tolerates as she continues to do so. The story kinda dragged on the first 18 eps. tbh. Everything was clichéd including the part when the MC dated. Yes, this is very slowburn and skinships are too minimal including the kisses. First kiss only happened at ep. 19. The story notched up arnd ep.20 towards the finale. The plot twist made this drama quite interesting towards the end. Given said that, I give this drama a fairly 7.5 rating. Ending was good, still I don't find the FL a good match to the very dashing CYX. Definitely will look forward to more of his dramas.

Yes, the MC got back together and Min Jun was rejected by Hong for the obvious reason that Hong and Jungo are still in love even after 5 yrs has passed.

I think so too. Jungo has no problems adapting to Korea I guess, only, he needs to learn Hangeul. Their languages have lots of common words so learning it would be easy for him.
As for LSY, yeah, she might not be the one who sang the song. I just have no idea that she might have a talent in singing as well.
First, I was really looking forward to this drama as I like both leads. I've liked Lee Se Young since Korean Odyssey. She's really a great actress. And yes, who would not love Kentaro Sakaguchi, first seen him in Tokyo Tareba Musume back in 2017. This collab was nicely done. I really liked that they gave more of the Jdrama flair than a Kdrama. Lee Se Young nailed her Nihongo speaking. I wonder if that English song she sang at the Wedding was actually her singing voice?
Another thing to like about this drama is how it was realistically presented. You can feel the raw emotions between 2 strangers whom just met and fell in love. Chemistry is definitely there. I also like how fast paced this was. Like the spiciness came in as early as ep.2 Only the downside for me was the final episode. Not sure if it was rushed, but seems to me, time was wasted on the first half of the finale. Like it could have focused more on the MC rather than it ate most of the time with the ex Kanna. so many questions felt unanswered for me. Like, after getting back together where have they decided to stay? was it in Korea or Japan? And yes, I need to know, What Jungo's real take on marriage? I feel like he doesn't have plans to get married. I just have to mention also, the apologies took a bit forever for Jungo to say. It took 5 yrs. literally. Afterall, I still feel Hong, made the right decision to get back with Jungo. Coz if she decides to accept Min Jun's proposal, not only her heart is elsewhere, but I feel that Min Jun will just leave her alone in the US since he will be busy with training. Overall, this was a good drama though a bit lacking on the ending. It's a solid 8 for me.
Second time watched this couple. The other story where ML was a doctor. Chemistry and story was great. Though this was the 3rd version of it I believe.
