Not really bad for a short mini series. Obviously, it's so low budgeted. First time to watch the entire cast. ML kinda resembles Jin of BTS. I kinda get confused in the beginning like why would ML pull FL intohis room when they supposedly not related in any way. Then, yeah, the cliche took in place when theFL having a twin gave the answer to everything. A bit lacking on kisses and skinships, and yes, acting is just too weak as well. But, the chemistry of the leads was definitely there. It's a 7.0 for me.
It started interesting but really went downhill till the end. I just find the Fl's character so pathetic. Like, afterall you've went through on your marriage then go back to where you've been. And there's this guy who loved you wholeheartedly and reject him just to be with the pathetic ex-husband. One of the worst romance Jdrama I've ever watched so far.
Another SML syndrome. this would have been better if FL ended up with SML. It's a waste of time for me. Gave it a 4 for the SML generously.
So, I checked this out because of Luo Zheng. I liked most of his characters in every drama that I've seen him. For this drama, yes another likeable character of his. It's my first time to watch the FL in a drama. She was able to portray her role well. The biggest downside of this drama for me is the storyplot. Like the first 15eps. got me hooked but went downhill till the end. I'm just not a fan of the Psychological issues given to the ML's character. Not to mention the brother as well. I was kinda hoping the romance will be given more emphasis by the leads. Yes, they have not separated from the moment they were officially together, but the sweet moments for me seem to be lacking. not to mention the kisses and skinships are so minimal. The last 9 episodes was kinda wasted and was focused on the brother's issues with ML. Though, there was a character development still, the ending was just too lacking for me as well. The wedding ceremony was just a dream and the engagement proposal was just used as a bait for the brother to reveal his true self. Like. come on, this was supposedly a Romance drama and not a Psychological drama per se. The secondary couple seem to have a better romantic thingy than the main leads themselves. Given said that it's a 6.5 for me.
I think I've seen this drama around 3 years ago on cable tv. It has an interesting story plot. Got me hooked at ep. 1. However, went downhill for me when the truth was reveled towards the near end. I got disappointed how discriminative this drama was presented. I thought the ML was nice at the beginning, but totally revealed his ugly character towrds the end. A typical ML who would fall in love with women only because of their looks but not with their kind heart. Sadly, this is the harsh reality of our society today. Anyway, Gave this a fair rating of 6 for an interesting beginning but very bad ending.
Its 2023. Even during past centuries not all women were seeking for security cause relationships are not contracts…
Partly true, but it depends on ones beliefs. For Catholics, Marriage is a Sacrament not just a mere contract as you say. It is something Sacred for 2 people in love. May it be any religion, I still believe it is something Sacred and not just something to be legally bound to. Yes, this is the modern era. Everyone has their own preference. Am just stating for the general norm. Like, a standard ideal family would be a married couple and have kids in which the FL in this drama would like to have as characterized by her character. Still, everyone has the freedom to choose where they will be happy with. May it be No marriage and no kids, then so be it. As for me, I'm still a firm believer of love bounded by marriage as a Sanctity. And yes, anyone can have kids, still having your own biological kids is simply priceless and a blessing.
One of the rare Kdramas I looked forward to. I'm into Cdramas lately and rarely watch Kdramas now a days. This is just one of the few I didn't want to pass and gladly completed this drama. I liked the leads first and foremost. And yes, chemistry was extremely there. Story plot is all clichê, but who cares?!! 😁 A very light, full of romance drama. Another big point of this drama are the kisses and skinships, executed well by Junho and Yoona, as expected. I enjoyed the characters of the supporting casts too, specially the FA couple. It's an 8.5 for me. Highly recommended who are just simply in for the romance, a feel good drama, no major complications and yep, I just want to see the romantic side of Junho again. 😍
The title itself is not my cup of tea. I got curious with its high ratings. Like, I'm thinking it has a good dose of romance. So, upon checking it out. Yes, it started strong in terms of romance. Specially, on the Teacher's story. I think I am more hooked on their story than anybody else. For the main FL Se Yun, the only thing that got me hooked to her story is after learning the twist that she's the "real" mistress and not the one she assumes she's the one being cheated on. Well, technically, she was lied on, not particularly cheated on. I was kinda looking forward on the romance development between the Psychiatrist and her ex lover's son. but, it wasn't given emphasis. the ending was just okay but, like I said the romance aspect was kinda bit lacking towards the end. Sang Hoon's torture was quite stretched too long. didn't liked that. And yeah, if this was based on a true story, it really is so sad to know that there are fathers who would go as far sa hurting and killing their own child just for money. The harsh truth of reality. Overall, this is just a 7.5 for me. If I'm into crime, mystery I would have enjoyed this. But, I only watch for romance, so yeah, this ain't for me.
Am not so into Psycho Infidelity kind of romance, gave this a shot though as I would like to see its difference with Cdramas in terms of marriage issues drama. This one gave a realistic vibe, but as expected with Jdramas, it has a dark vibe on it. The antagonist Rina is definitely a nut case. Probably, her husband is partly to blame with the bullying she experienced, sadly, it was irrepairable for the 2 of them. But based on the flashback, it was Rina's enviousness that triggered her obssession with the ML. I felt sad for the kids who has to suffer. Still, the ML is definitely not the ideal husband you'll want to have. Cheating is still cheating, there's no excuse on that. For the FL, she's not ideal either, but why is it always that she seem to be the bad girl when the husband was the first one who cheated, like why can't a wife cheat back for revenge?!!! Like come on, like it always feels that men are entitled to cheat and women can't. Anyways, I also feel sad for the FL's bestie Haruta, like he seems have feelings for her but kept it to not ruin her marriage. Overall, this is just an okay drama for those into this type of genre. Only thing I liked here, karma was served for the characters who deserve it. It's a 7 for me.
I rarely watch Jmovies, but decided to check this out. I thought it was an interesting start to watch a beautiful FL who doesn't go for looks in a guy and fell in love because of his kindness. Then, it followed that I was completely amazed buy a guy's motivation to transform himself to a better person for the lady he loves. Then here comes the ending that I thought I was grabbing all the situation and left me all empty handed instead. Like, WHAT THE HECK is that ending?!! It totally got me confused. Thinking that the chubby Takkun and the hot good looking Takkun was just one person and only transformed...turns out to be 2 different persons and was completely played on by this deceiving FL. I feel sad for both men and for the biatch FL hope she gets her karma. It's a 6.0 for me. I didn't like that even the story I am watching is quite being played on just like the FL. This is generous enough just to see how hot Matsuda Shota is.
Gave this drama a shot though I'm not into Psychological dramas. I find the leads interesting. FL looked like Yoon Eun Hye of Korea. 2ML, though with a disturbing character has this charm. And of course, the most likeable character in this drama is the ML. The traumatic pasts of the FL and 2ML gave them the character of what they have become as a result of being treated badly by their own families. I did understand how they have been attached to each other as they found shelter to their emotions on having someone to be with on their difficult moments. That's why I really felt sad on the ML's character, that he has to accept the remaining attachment lingering between the 2ML and his wife. Overall, this is just an okay drama. Still, I find the skinships and the romantic attachment of the leads lacking. Like, the FL spent more time with 2ML.Gave this a 7 for a somehow happy ending.
Currently at ep. 21 and I think am gonna drop this from this part after the wedding. This drama started interesting, got me hooked specially when Zhang He appeared as the very handsome Marshal. Both leads are visually stunning. But, the FL's character just gets annoying as it progresses. The romance is just too weak. Only the ML shows authentic feelings towards FL. She seems just too pathetic, specially on scenes with her cousin on the early parts of the drama. The kisses are just too bland for a republican drama. And yeah, with all the cliché of always having annoying spoiled brat supporting female character who clings with ML. Also the unending family clash revenge is quite annoying . Overall, you'll watch this just for the ML. It's a 6.5 for me.
Just completed the drama. First, I liked the idea of coinciding the contemporay story plot to historical and vice versa. I prefer this idea than time travel tropes. It's my first time to watch the leads. Definitely the chemistry was there. FL looks cute, ideal for the role. The ML is just okay too. Second thing that I liked, this is one of the rare historical concept drama with lots of kisses, specifically on melodramas. For the downside, I simply didn't like FL's character on the historical aspect. She's too self-centered and spoiled. Like, she assumes she's always the boss just because all these royalty men were so into her. I just don't like that she never knows how to compromise. And yeah, I was kinda hoping she would have a child after being reincarnated. For the ML and the rest of the supporting males, I'm just not a fan or reverse harem tropes. Like, I'd rather have a Love triangle trope than almost of all the men are into the FL. And seriously, they're all crazy obssessed with FL and not simply admiration. I also didn't like that the supporting men didn't have their happy endings because of their obssession with FL. And lastly, the final scene on the modern trope just didn't give a romantic vibe on it. Plus the ML's hairstyle, like, can't you give him a bit of a glowup, at least a CEO look vibe. Given said that, it's a 7.5 for me. I still find it too long. I believe around 32 eps. would be enough. Oh yeah, the forced happy ending didn't quite fit. Like who would be reincarnated in a span of around 4yrs, with full memory intact. At least Cuyen was reincarnated with a 20 year gap, By the way, Cuyen kinda reminded me of Jungkook of BTS. He kinda resemble him. Overall, this is an okay drama for a historical with not so heavy drama.
This was long sitting in my Plan to Watch list. Decided to give it a go. Another typical comedy Jdrama with all the acting exaggerations. My 2nd time to watch ML. I find him cute but the acting seem just lacking. Same goes with the FL. Her lack of expression makes her character more dull. Like, come on, being tagged with a romance genre, with no kisses and skinships and the only thing you can hold for the romance are the expression of their feelings yet, still lacking. The story is so predictable that made me lose interest in the crime mystery aspect of the drama. Overall, I got bored and the only character that got me hooked in this drama is Death Prince. He's more likeable than ML I think. It's a 6.5 for me.
I'm not a manga reader so, I'm not sure if this drama wasn't just well presented or is it the story itself that got me confused at all?!! It got me hooked on ep.1. Like the story was absolutely interesting at first. I really thought this was just another case of soul swapping but it isn't. Midway towards the end kinda felt drag and yeah, the confusion sets in. I'm trying to understand that it's like Mari is a schizo. That komori's partial soul went into her's and the real Mari inside was asleep, then went out and shut out Komori's soul in the end. It's like she absorbed Komori's soul or did Komori raped Mari on the tunnel that made his consciousness went into Mari's body? Not even sure who Fumiko was, that liitle kid? and was Mari the one who really liked Yori and not Kumori? And because the story plot was all messed up for me, I gave it a 4. Just to be fair, I don't think this should be R rated, since there was no actual nudity & violence presented compared to other Jdramas I've seen so far.
Another dark themed Jdrama. I'm really not in to Psycho drama but checked this out because of the ML. This is a wasted potential for me. I'm okay with the revenge plot. But, I felt nothing has been justified at all till the end. Like, still it was Mayuko who lost everything till the end including her physical being. Yuri didn't get punished at all with all the nasty things she did. She even got away from everything by doing the accident suicide. I even hate Ryoichi for knowing FL's revenge but not knowing how a Psycho biatch is his wife. I also hate FL's character from the start. I hate her from always giving in to Yuri. Like she knows from childhood that something's wrong with Yuri yet still befriended her. I mean she should have told Ryoichi what Yuri has all done from the past, He might have helped her. The grooming is just very disturbing, it's like making your biological son your lover. Overall, it's a 5 for me.
Go ahead and read "Kuzu no Honkai decor", that's the ending that drama didn't cover
Oh, I'm not really into reading. I just watch dramas and rate them according to how it was presented. So it doesn't matter for me if a story is better in the book or drama. Thanks for the info though.
Another realistic representation of life. I really liked the concept of this drama. It reminded me of other Jdramas like Tokyo Love Story and Love and Fortune. I think J writers are good at this. They are able to showcase how it is in reality. That not all have fairytale like ending story...that not everyone can have that handsome CEO who'll marry you and treat you like a princess that we most see in dramas. Another good thing about this drama is that, it is like a short mini series, so it's a bit fast to complete the entire drama. Have watched the FL from other Jdramas. Good acting I should say. I just feel sad at the same time admire her character. I feel sad about her struggles in finding her Mr. Right. I guess, one factor is sometimes we expect so highly in a partner that sometimes you'll miss the good one. Just like it was presented here. The very first guy she met in Tokyo should've been her great potential partner but she let go because of her aspirations. But, what I admire about her is her composure. Like she never confronted the men in her life in an angry manner, afterall being cheated or ghosted. And yeah, sadly, another harsh reality are those type of men presented. Like, they do really exist in reality. Some will pretend that they care but they just actually care about themselves. And yes, there are men who shall we say aren't that good looking but have the audacity to cheat on their women. Though, regardless of their looks, cheating is just a no no. Overall, i give this an 8. truly deserves a higher rating. I just can't give higher enough as I'm not satisfied with the guy the FL ended with. Plus, this was made a bit wholesome. So, the kisses and skinships were kinda missed out.
