hmmm... though you felt it's underrated, but yet you rated it a 9, penalizing the 1pt due to it being a miniseries?!
With its current MDL rating of 8.1, it is indeed underrated for me. Truly deserved a 9.0
Yes, a perfect 10 for me should be a full length. Since, the writer was able to squeeze in a good romance drama for a short mini series, wouldn't it be better to enjoy more of that romantic story in full lengrh? Storywise it was good, but not good enough since I felt it too short.
On Thousands of Years of Love Feb 9, 2024
Truly underrated. A solid 9.0 for me. Should have given a 10 if it's in full length. Yo Xuan Chen is definitely a ML to look forward to. Hope he gets more lead roles and yes, hope it will be full length next time. Not really a fan of FL, but she definitely nailed her role here. This is a must watch feel good, short, mini series Xianxia.
On Thousands of Years of Love Feb 7, 2024
Finally, since My Uncanny Destiny, boy am I glad to see Yu Xuan Chen as a lead role. Truly deserving. And yes, he still never fail to amaze me and be charmed by his looks. Hope he gets full length drama next time. Still waiting for the finale. So far, one of the best xianxia mini series this early 2024. Such a feel good drama with abundant kisses.

Title Indulgence
Another tease short mini series. First time to watch MC as leads. I've seen them in other dramas but mostly they just play a supporting role that makes them quite forgettable. Chemistry was definitely there. Yes, lots of teasing and not much kisses I believe. But, that one kiss was definitely hot. Story is just okay. Not that interesting. I'd give this a 7.0
On Nothing but Thirty Feb 3, 2024
Title Nothing but Thirty Spoiler
Got curious on the writer's perspective on how women's lives in their 30's should be. It took me around 3 eps I think, before I got into the drama. Wang Manni's story got me hooked at the beginning, like I would like to see a progress in her character at the same time to be able to find the right man for her. Like, finding a rich partner will not be the answer to what exactly she needs in her life. I guess, that was kinda answered but her love story was a total failure till the end which I hated. For Gu Jia, she was the least role I've liked among the 3. I can only admire her strong will to achieve her goal but would never do the way she handled things. Social climbing is a big no no for me. I've always believed that working and striving hard will always lead you to the right path in achieving your dreams. No shortcuts. It's really good to have dreams and aspirations, but having too high expectations would have greater consequences in your life just what happened to her. Of course, another cheating role for Li Ze Feng after watching him in Alliance. His character again was a total failure. At least he learned to admit his mistakes and asked for forgiveness in which not all real men can do. The most hateable character for me would be Lin You You...the audacity of a homewrecker. not a single remorse from her. I've always hated a cheater but a homewrecker would be the worst. And lastly, Zhong Xiao Qin, I hated her character in the beginning, like, come on, getting a fallback guy when you just got from a divorce?!! That's a worst thing to do I believe. It's like doing another mistake from a failed marriage. Anyway, though it took awhile. At least she gets to realize her true feelings for her husband. And yes, I absolutely love the character development of this fish tank couple. not to mention their own happy ending.
Overall, this drama didn't caught much my attention. Like, I have to skip lots of scenes specially the post credit scenes of a family not related to the story. And yes, Wang Manni's story became a complete drag after her failed relationship with Liang Zhen Xiang. I can only give this drama a 7.0 star rating. the lack of romance with the 2 unhappy couples in the end justifies my rating.
And for the writer's perspective, I don't know, but being in thirty's doesn't give much impact in your life whether you are single, married, succesful or unsuccesful in your career. It really all depends on how you manage your life. Age isn't much a factor until you reach your 40's where health is a big factor in your life changes.

Title My Boss
He's ML on "Our Interpreter" Course you may not like this one either since it's all about AI Interpreting and…
Yes I did. I absolutely loved his character in Starry Love and of course, first time I've seen him in Fall in Love as a General. He really nailed his role being a very handsome General. 😍

Mainly watching this for Chen Xing Xu. However, I need to drop this at ep. 12. I don't think I can go on further. Aside from the fact that I'm so not into law drama. The story is just a total drag for me. Like, I'm not feeling that romcom vibe at all. FL's character is a total drag as well. Not to mention, too slow burn. I'll pass on this and just wait for a better role for Chen Xing Xu. I don't think being a lawyer is a thing for him either. The only thing I liked in this drama is Cheng Xiao Yun's hairstyle. I like that short and chic kind of hair.
On Alliance Jan 26, 2024
Title Alliance Spoiler
So, I thought this will be just another marriage complications drama like The World of Married and the like. Apparently, it gave me a different aspect of this genre or concept. Storywise, it is good. Like, I didn't feel much toxicity compared to other dramas made of this genre. Yes, I liked the twist that the writer made for the story itself. The relationships created as the story moves forward was perfectly in rhythm with the story. I got really hooked from ep. 1. Among all the revenge marriage dramas I've watched I believe this has the most good feel vibe. My first time to watch the MC in a drama and yes, they did a great job in terms of acting. Have watched Li Ze Feng in numerous dramas such as She and Her Perfect Husband, Go Go Squid to name a few. As always, his acting is always superb. Not only Wei ming's character is hateable here but I must mention his parents. Not a single character development on their end. But, the rest of the characters have their own story and development which I liked. Sometimes, I feel that Jiang Xi's character has more substance than the FL herself. Guoguo is truly adorable. Originally, I was suppose to give this drama 9 or a 10 for a great story and ending. But, I changed my mind and decided to rate this with an 8.
Well, to mention its downside, the last 6 eps. went downhill for me. Like it became a drag focusing more on the corporate issues. And yes, the most important thing the Romance became a backseat of this drama. Ultimately slowburn. Like for adults being in love should have at least a fiery passion romance but this drama didn't have that to offer. The romance of the MC was very bland. Like, come on, the kiss only happened in the finale. At first, I liked the FL's demeanor, but, towards the end, she became a total workaholic to the point of neglecting her parental duties. And yes, why the hesitation towards her feelings with ML afterall he has been doing for her. She may have been traumatized wih the previous relationship, but, everything has been laid out to her by the ML's pure intentions. Lastly, I also didn't like much that Jiang Xi's story was given too much emphasis. I liked her brother though. I was hoping the LT between him and ML would be stretched.
Overall, this was still a good drama not to miss.
On When I Fly Towards You Jan 22, 2024
Title When I Fly Towards You Spoiler
I'm so totally struggling with this drama. Currently on ep. 18 and still doing lots of skips. Given the high rating, I thought this would be somehow like Go Ahead, A love so Beautiful or Put Your Head on my Shoulder. Seriously, another overrated drama for me. First, ML's character is so dull. Am really not a fan of FL pursuing ML all throughout. And yeah, a total SLOW Burn. I also have a hard time trying to perceive the timeline...like it was suppose to be the year of 2015 but they're using Sony walkman and yes, camcorders. I guess, one thing that bores me is the lack of sweet moments by the leads. It's like watching 2 besties studying together and not romantically inclined. I'll use more skips just to reach the final eps. and see what I can rate for this drama.
I've finished the drama at this point. At least the story notch up a bit in the last 4 remaining eps. First kiss happened at ep. 20. Ending was okay, but, I didn't felt that happy comparing to Put Your Head on my Shoulder. I've always like endings that the MC will have a kid in the end. For some reason, I didn't felt the excitement here. But, there's one thing to like about the ML, and that is his courage to settle down and preparedness that he was able to buy a home for his future family. Of course, I have to mention loyalty. Men who are very much loyal to their wife/gf are really commendable. Not a fan of the FL's character but her perseverance to get the man that she likes is simply unmatched. I forgot to mention, the writer should have given Guan Fang a partner in the end. His character is more interesting for me. Overall, I can give this drama a 7.5 Generous enough for the last 4 eps that only peaked my interest.
On My Man Is Cupid Jan 20, 2024
Title My Man Is Cupid Spoiler
My thoughts after completing the drama. I got hooked on ep. 1. It started really interesting for me. Like, they gave cupid a bit of a different character here. First time to watch the leads. I must say, they did great in terms of acting. Chemistry was definitely there. What went wrong for me, I guess, first, the genre. I thought this was a romcom fantasy, but it became more of mystery crime. The romcom part wasn't sustained much. Some supporting roles didn't gave much value to the actual story, like the detective former King, the other 3 cupids whom I was hoping would have their own romantic endings. Even the FL's roommate wasn't given a proper ending either. Lots of loopholes in the story that weren't really much explained like why is it only ML was reincarnated and the 3 cupids remained in their state? Why the king was reincarnated as a police officer with the same face while the FL was not? the 2 Gods confused me either, that kid (courage) and the old man with the hat. Well, the writer tried its best to give a happy ending, unsatisfyingly for me. Overall, I can only give a 7.5 for this drama. It tried to adapt the story of Strong Woman doBong Soon and Tunnel, but not close enough.
Just an observation, everytime I look at Moon JiHoo( Dongchil, the white dog guy), there's a certain angle in his face that resembles V of BTS. sometimes, it feels that he patterned his face through his image. Hope, it's just simply resemblance and not the wonders of plastic surgery.

Title Please Fall in Love Spoiler
After seeing the trailer, got curious and checked this out. Second time to watch ML in a drama. First time to watch FL in a drama. I liked the entire cast to be honest. Another pool of goodlooking gents. Story concept is nothing new. It's a total cliche for me. Not a fan of ML, but his got this vibe of a kind loving person. Good acting by the cast. Just got a bit drag for me on the last 4 eps. A little bland on chemistry. One main reason is the lacking of kisses. Too slowburn, like the kiss happened on second to the finale. In which, most short length series I've seen have abundant kisses. Overall, still a decent watch. a 7.0 for me.
On Love Me, Love My Voice Jan 13, 2024
Title Love Me, Love My Voice Spoiler
I still have 7 eps to go but, I'm not sure if it's worth continuing for. Like, it started interesting. Both leads are cute. First time to watch them as leads. However, as the story progresses it's just too drag for me. I guess, it was made too wholesome or conservative for both adults being in love. This is just too cutesie. Like I'm so not into this type of genre. I'm looking for fire and passion and this just ain't it. I mean comparing to Go Go Squid and Falling Into Your Smile, I mean those 2 are sure fire. The kisses here are just so so...and yeah, I'm also not into musical type of drama. like, there's lots of singing and all. Not to mention there are lots of food presentation that confuses me with the actual genre of this drama. Probably not my cup of tea that I find this over rated. I can only give as high as 7.0 for this type of drama.

Title Rising Feather Spoiler
This drama was fire with LJL in it. The man is too fine. His kissing scenes let's just say, the man knows what…
If I'm not mistaken I think it was mentioned towards the end by the 2ML doctor that the love poison acquired by the MC was cured having their child. I mean, their biological child was the cure.
On Rising Feather Jan 9, 2024
Decided to check this out after seeing Li Jiu Lin playing a lead role this time. I usually see him just playing a support role in a drama. After completing this, I think the acting is still a bit bland but getting there. Kisses were well executed. Though, I'm not a fan of the FL. first time watching her in a lead role and I think she's better off playing just a support role. Storywise, it is predictable and too clichè for a historical drama. Like, the trope is nothing new. If you're a newbie to Historicals, this is a good start to recommend aside from the fact that it's a short series compared to full length ones. Overall, this is just a 7.0 for me. Generous enough for the good kisses and Li Jiu Lin.

I checked this out because of the ML after watching him in Here's My Exclusive indulge. He's got that look definitely. Kinda resembles Yang Yang at a certain angle. The acting is a bit bland but getting there. I like the FL too. Chemistry was definitely there. Story gave a bit of Mysterious Love vibe. Overall, a decent.watch for another mini series by the ML. Hope he gets a full length lead role next time. It's a 7.5 for.me. The last 2 eps. just didn't gave much a good feel.
After completing the drama, it's just one of those Kdramas that gives you an unsatisfying ending. With too many questions lingering on your mind. Like why only ML was reincarnated and not FL? Coz she basically just time travelled all along. Why KTH in Joseon era didn't have his memory intact when reincarnated to modern KTH? Why she would refuse the Joseon KTH when she first in love with him before she technically died in the well and mistook the modern KTH being her husband?
Anyways, I'm here because I like both leads. But storywise...it' s a nah. This gave me a Rooftop Prince feels with the same unsatisfying ending. Generously gave a 7.5 for the leads.
First reason to watch this drama are the leads. I like both of them. Storywise, this is nothing new. The typical time travel trope. Kinda remind me of Rooftop Prince. Yes, it was predictable and yes, still Kdramas is still bad at endings. I mean, very a few Kdramas I've seen that would have a satisfying ending. This just doesn't count. The ending was just so so for me. Like, it felt rushed and a bit confusing ideas. Like FL wouldn't have have fallen in love with the modern KTH if she wasn't in love with the Joseon KTH. Technically, they should've been the same guy since he was a reincarnation that's why they have same name and face. But the finale, wanted to convey that they are different entities. I felt sad on the ending for it was too unfair with the Joseon KTH. I mean his memories should have been intact after being reincarnated while FL just simply time travelled and have not been reincarnated at all. Too many glitches. Even Sa Wol staying in the modern times should have affected History. Anyways, inspite all the flaws of this drama, it's a decent watch. a 7.5 for me.
On Only for Love Jan 4, 2024
Of course, I wouldn't miss this out given both Dylan and Miles are in it. Not a fan of Bai Lu though. For the drama itself, I find 36eps too long for such a draggy story, cliched, tropey drama. The playing hard to get part was stretched too long for all the couples involved. Lots of boring business aspect scenes. This should have been done in 24eps or less. Another thing that I'm not happy about is the story concept that only beautiful women can only get the attention of CEO's here. Like, seriously? Can't an ordinary woman with just a kind heart and soul capture a heart of an elite man? Of course, Bai Lu's portrayal have to be exemplary in everything aside from that good looks capturing all the attention of men. And because of that, this is a solid 7 for me. That's high enough for the good execution of kisses which definitely the leads are experts. 😁
