Oh my, after watching Will Love In Spring, I just saw this drama in one of the recommendations in the comments and decided to check it out. Little did I know that this is way much better than the above-mentioned drama. The story plot is actually plain and simple. Honestly, I skipped the corporate matters of the story as I'm just much interested on the romantic aspect of this drama. And, surprisingly, it didn't disappoint me. I so love how everything unfolded between the MC. I like both of their characters. They're both a total green flag. My first time to watch both leads. Surely was mesmerized by Elvis Han's charms. FL's character was really likeable. I admire how hardworking and independent she is. And yes, not being gullible to tempting good looking men is one of the best character of our FL. There are lots to be liked about in this drama. One, the leads are not childhood friends or not even a childhood acquaintance which is quite rare in the Cdrama world. Second, no meddlesome in-laws or parents to deal with. Third, I liked how the supposedly love triangles on both sides of the leads were easily dispatched with no complications. Lastly, the way both leads flirt with each other prior to being together sets the romantic meter really high for me. Overall, I really enjoyed this drama and gave this an 8.5 rating. There were just some small things that hindered me to give a higher rating. Like, this was a bit slowburn. For having only 14 eps. and the MC got officially together on a much later part. Also, I find the FL's sister annoying on the first parts of the drama. Good thing, she became quite mature towards the last few eps. And finally, the side stories of their clients for both leads are just so uninteresting for me. Lots of their corporate jobs occupied most of the drama air time. I just hope more interesting scenes were showcased aside from their daily jobs. Ending was okay. I loved the simplicity and intimacy of the marriage proposal. Kisses were executed well, but was kinda hoping of more skinships and intimacy by the MC knowing how flirtatious they are from the beginning with each other. I believe this is one of the rare corporate dramas that I truly enjoyed aside from Here We Meet Again.
And yes, I will definitely look more into Elvis Han's drama. 😍

As far as I've read here in MDL, a 7.0 rating is still a decent watch. Below than that is considered an unworthy watch drama. I do only overall ratings. I never rated per episode, so my ratings I guess doesn't affect the general rating of the drama per se. It really depends on how I enjoyed the drama the way I rate it. There are dramas that are averagely rated of 7-7.5 that I gave a 9 or 10 because it gave me a total entertainment. But, mostly, I see here lots of over rated ones that has a rating of 8.5-10 and what I got is just total boredom on that drama. It just mainly depend on each ones preferences. Some rate the drama because they're a fan of the leads, some on the genre or some might have loved how a drama ended. A good storyplot plus a strong romance meter deserve a high rating for me that I give 9 or 10.

I do rate appropriately and 7.5 is not a ridiculous rating. Each has its own preference.

Almost dropped this drama, but stayed for Li Xian. I've always liked him since Go Go Squid. But, this is just not my cup of tea. This is the second time I've watched him in a melodrama. the other one was Meet Yourself, and didn't like that much either. I think Li xian's character in most of his dramas are the same. Like he starts to be a snob, then turns to be the most romantic guy later on. Not a fan of FL. Seen her in Nothing But You and Begin Again. The characters she portray may seem different among these 3 mentioned dramas, but, delivery I guess seem just the same. Like, I don't feel admiring the character being portrayed. Anyways, this drama is very light. The storyplot has nothing much to offer. By the way, kinda surprised seeing Wan Peng doing a supporting role for this drama. Like, I'm kinda used to seeing her play a lead role such as My GF is an Alien. I gave this a 7.5 Fairly enough for the good execution of kisses by Li Xian, as expected. It really had a good start. Got me hooked on the first kiss by the train. But, just dragged when things about healing sets in. Ending was just okay but nothing really special.

I'm really looking forward to season 2 of this drama. A rare gem for a short mini series. Good storyplot. You'll get hooked. And yes both the leads are eyecandies specially the ML. Kisses were well executed. Hoping there were more intimate scenes and loveydovey by the MC.

Thought of giving this a shot, despite the low ratings here in MDL. First time to watch both of leads. I think they both look good together. Had a weak start. Yes, given the age gap and grooming per se, it's a typical Jdrama. Of course, a dark side of the story is given. ML is definitely a green flag. Kisses was bad at first, but improved a bit later on, though just a few. Surprisingly, the intimacy is kinda weak here. Like, it was presented conservatively, probably due to the FL's age of 18. Still, gave this drama an 8 for a good ending. Overall, not bad for a typical jdrama plot.

Alright, the first 16 eps. got me hooked to this drama aside from Xu Kai, of course. As much as I hated FL's mom's character, she's the main center of this whole drama I think. I thought the story was quite interesting at first. I was hoping to see more of Jia Liang's part story, like to redeem himself as a changed man and still try to win the FL's heart. Sadly, his story just ended at ep. 16. Beyond that it became a drag for me until the romance between the leads kicked in at ep.26. Then, the romance just declined and went a backseat for awhile. Everything was either focused on each ones family issues and the secondary couple's personal struggles as well. I've always looked forward to Xu Kai's dramas, but this just ain't one for me. Only one kiss on one ep. alone. Just too lacking on skinships. I'm also not a fan of family dramas, but, I think, if I have to choose one family drama which has a good storyline that would be Go Ahead. Yang Zi, as always, nailed her role, but, I still like her better in Go Go Squid. The ending is just so so for me. I feel sad that this drama didn't focus much on the romantic side story of the leads.
Overall, it's a 7.5 for me. Generous enough to see Xu Kai's charms.

This definitely gave me a Mysterious Love vibe which FL also starred on as supporting role. Not a fan of the leads but ML surely nailed his role. Storyline is okay for a mini series. The kisses got me hooked to this drama which were executed well. The characters of the leads were just okay too. Nothing ideal. There are some characters that seem unnecessary like Kun which didn't gave much impact on the story. And yeah, Elena's character seem off too. Like, she's into all these men, as well as the main culprit for FL's late Aunt's murder. Yet, justice was not served in the end or probably just wasn't showned as far as I recall. Overall, not bad for a mini series. The romance was a bit slowburn but worth the wait. it's an 8 for me.

Too clichéd drama. Not a fan of the leads, but their chemistry was good. I think ML's character is way better in Well dominated Love than here. Consistently, he executes kissing scenes so well. Story is very much predictable. I just hate plots half siblings being obsessed either to a sister or brother. And the usual, guy bestie who'll definitely be friendzoned since he's only the SML. I definitely just stayed for the good kisses by the leads. Ending is just okay, nothing to be awed about. Overall, it's a 7.5 for me. Generous enough for the kisses.

Just @ep16, MCH mom is just too unbearable. Thank goodness Yang Zi's character is really likeable here. Like she knows her battles very well and fought with dignity and class. But, of course, I'm so here for Xu Kai. His charms is just too mesmerizing. 😍

I see, thank you for clarifying on that. I was even hoping too see what their actual child would look like. Sadly, it ended only announcing the pregnancy. And kinda hoping too for their actual wedding ceremony with the support of the heavenly realm, but was never showned.

My second time to watch Li Geng Xin in a drama. First was My Bargain Queen. I think his role here is way better. I liked his reserved style of acting, yet turns out to be romantic. Upon checking on his drama line up, this turns out to be their second pairing as a couple. First was Princess Agents. I haven't checked out that drama though.
So, for the storyline, I was hooked on ep. 1 just by seeing Mofang's character. His role seems interesting for me. Like, I'm kinda looking forward for Xin Yun Lai to do another drama with Zhao Li Ying as the ML this time. I just felt the chemistry between them, TBH. There were some draggy parts. Another slow-burn romance. I think the story caught up for me at around ep. 20 something onwards. It took me awhile to like the ML's character. Like, it started for me when he was searching for FL in the sea. He Yu's character as Furong is another cutesie. Still, I like him more in My Fated Boy.
Romance wise, chemistry was there, but I still find the skinships and kisses lacking. Like it only happened for roughly 2 eps. But, if there's one thing to like about this drama, that is the MC is together most of the time. And yes, I really like the part when ML claimed his rights to fall in love and stood firm about his decision to fall in love with FL.
The ending was just okay. But, for me, this should have ended at ep.38. The finale was occupied mostly by the Golden Serpent's love story which I think is unnecessary.
Overall, I gave this an 8.5. The story of ShenLi's parents was quite interesting too. I just didn't quite got caught up on the story behind that sea pearl given to Shen Li. Like, it didn't give her any extra special powers or something.

Surprisingly, I did enjoy this drama. It was quite confusing in the first few episodes, like, I thought the MC were just having a fling or simply dating with benefits. And yes, I thought the ML is a walking red flag in the beginning, but, turned into an ultimate green flag in the end. I think the story peaked halfway for the MC. Sadly it didn't end up happily for the secondary couple. but, the chemistry on both couples were surely on fire. I liked the simplicity and how on point the romance is presented in this drama. From the love confession, cohabitation, marriage proposal and yes, up to taking responsibilty of having their own family. But of course, the intimacy of the couple was also a big plus for this drama. It's quite rare for me to watch such short but sweet Jdrama. And for that, this definitely deserve a 9.0 for me. This is too underrated here in MDL.

A bit weak storyplot but you'll get hooked by the MC's chemistry. Puff Kuo always nails a kissing scene with her leads. Had a strong start but gets.draggy.midway. Plus some loose ends in the story like what happened to their multi million debt? Were they able to pay it? Why did the loan sharks stop pestering them midway? it doesn't show that they are able to pay the loan with their minimal income. After being able to earn why did the mother and daughter didn't try find a decent home to rent instead of staying at a male dominated home? Also why did the Doctor's sister didn't get ounished from her wrong doings? it's like spreading false rumors in the company is a tolerable act.This is a totally wasted potential. Ending is okay but could've been better if FL got pregnant again from the ML so she'll be able to relive what she regret the most after giving up her first child. ML is definitely a green flag. I like his loyalty and motivation to succeed for a brighter future with his partner. Kisses are hot and well executed. Gave this a 7.5 for that.

`Short but sweet mini series. First time to watch the MC in a drama. Great chemistry by the leads. Good storyline. Overall, this is a decent watch. A solid 8.0 for me.
