Another mini series that I enjoyed. First time to watch ML in a drama. He kinda remind me of Yan Zi Xian. they kinda resemble, and the acting style is almost the same. Chemistry of the leads are surely on fire. Kisses were very well executed. Storyplot is not bad for a mini series. The development of romance between the leads was kinda fast. Not sure if it was love at first sight or simply attracted to seduction that made them fall in love. I guess, due to lack of airtime that it wasn't elaborated further. Nevertheless, the intimacy covered it all. It's a solid 8.5 for me. Definitely deserved a higher rating.

Yes, I agree. I believe each country has its own laws on such matter. But, in the case of Su, I think just like any country, not only in China, it's really happening that some refuse to report such crimes to authorities, as presented in the drama, they fear of being judged by other people, specially on the victim. They don't wanna be discriminated by the society not only just because of money. Truly it is that the parents could have been accused also for hiding the crime and not giving justice to their own child specially a minor. Some countries would have given death penalty for such crime and others max is life.imprisonment. This is a sad reality happening in every part of the world. This drama was an eye opener and hope justice will be served to victims all over the world.

Oh, I thought we have have already rested our case and leave it as how we perceive it. Rose brother had to wait for everything just to win Su's affection. Yes, they're enemies in the beginning, became friends, got drunk at some point, they kissed not sure though about sleeping together.after getting drunk but everything went thru a process. They didn't make out after.exchanging a few text messages. It took time. They built a friendship first by working out together in several meets before they have to be intimate with each other. And he has to wait too for her to agree.on many accounts like you said when to live together, when she is ready to get married, when can they have their first child....everything went on a process...so waiting did actually happen. And for the trauma, yes it will be there, still, there's a process in healing and one of them was the time Su was able to seek justice when her stepdad was.finally apprehended. And she began to seek counseling from a Professional Psychologist. It was showned in the end that she was able to surpass it. She was able to start her own family, live a normal life feeling loved and protected by the people surrounding her. For the other woman, the scientist who works in the lab, she never really cared for Rose' brother. He might have waivered for a time for that boy but it didn't affect their relationship anyway. Probably, our ways of perceiving how the drama was presented was mainly different. There's no need to imply sarcasm in every opinion. Each one has their own POV.

I tell you, the right man can always wait. Just like how Rose's brother waited for Su to surpass her trauma. Yes, this is just real talk so don't tend to over exaggerate things like giving a timeline of 10yrs or so. If you can talk about life here am sure you're mature enough to know what we're talkin' about. Everyone has their own perspective in life. If you're okay on how Rose handled her romantic life good for you. Like I said, I'm not comfortable with her process and that's it for me too.

When Rose first met Eric at 22 She doesn't know him at all literally. He's a complete stranger. And for someone to go intimate.with him when all you had was just an exchange of few text.messages and just one single phone call won't you call that courageous for someone to go all the way intimate that soon? I'm sorry am not comfortable with that in my own POV. I don't have issues with gender equality. I admire women who can do everything specially jobs that were tagged in the old times as men's jobs. I just admire women I guess that have reservations. I am fully aware of the timelines of her relationships but, she keeps on repeating same mistakes not until with Lin Yi. Like I said, she pours out her heart too easily once she spots a prospect partner even without knowing that person first for some period of time. That's how courageous she is. And if you define that a slut, that 's your own way of thinking not mine.

I respect your opinion on Modern Women as you defined yourself. But my picture of a modern woman is someone who is career oriented and not "that" sexually driven. I didn't mention anything about viriginity, so there's no issue in that. So what does the topic have to do in getting a license for driving? That's way off topic. All I said is just the intimacy happened abrupt. I guess, I'm just not used to with that type of culture. Like, for me it is best to know first your partner before you go intimate with the person. Like I said, Rose character is a risk taker and courageous. It can be a positive and a negative trait at this time depending on the viewer. As for me, I find it a negative trait.
I think Eric explained later on how they differ from each other. From that being said hence, they can't be together.

Ohhh....that's the sad thing with China policy on censorships. Like so many scenes are usually omitted. Yeah, I can see that the feelings is definitely mutual. That's the the thing with FL's character which is partly her downside. She seem to be so easy. Like she usually initiates the intimacy. Or should I say she's such a tease. Of course, any man who's head over heals for her wouldn't be able to resist that. I just hope that the bed scene didn't happen that soon. I mean, they didn't even went out on a single date yet. That just questions the ML sincerity for me at that early stage. He could have just declined or just cooked something for the FL at home and simply nothing intimate yet happened. That's why I think there's still taking an advantage on that part.

Am quite surprised by the low rating given for this drama. I enjoyed the realistic approach of this story. This is way better than Meet Yourself, though I like Li Xian. I guess, I just love fast paced drama. Definitely not a fan of slow burns.
The leads, Huang siblings, Yimei and Zhen Hua, did awesome portraying their characters. For our FL, her character is not ideal for me, like, she's clearly a risk taker in every aspect of her life. But, I admire her calmness, perseverance and grit. And for her brother, I guess, they have almost the same character, just have different approach in life. I really like the Huang fam, specially how they support each, including their parents. Both of them have a very colorful romantic life, so to speak. I'm not sure if I was happy how it ended. But, am sure glad to see Lin Yi so hot portraying a pilot. 😍
As for Yimei's romantic encounters, she seem to have a bit of lacking in self-control. Like she easily pours out her heart to someone whom she just have recently met or worst just fell in love at first sight, and that's it. it's like dating for her is defined as making out. I really don't like that part of her character, but I liked how she learned and matured with every relationship she had. ,Zhuang Go Dong, I really didn't like that he took advantage of the fact that Yimei liked him, so he got her easily into bed. I mean, where's the respect in that?!!! But, his love for her later on is truly admirable. That he took every step just to win her back. Sadly, it's really an endgame for Yimei. Fang Xie Wen, sadly he's really a control freak and that's disturbing TBH. Good thing, Yimei did a great job in raising their kid and hopefully didn't get that disturbing character of her dad. Pu Jia Ming, I think his character is just a complete filler. Sadly, I used to like Wallace Huo, specially in Love Me If You Dare, but aging really hits him as seen in this drama. I think same goes with Lin Geng Xin, but I still like him in Legend of Shen Li. For Peng Guan Ying, his character here improved a bit. He portrays hateable ML character in most of his drama. Like either he cheats or be a complete narcissist.
For Zhen Hua, I really like how his romantic life ended for him. Su Gen Sheng's character is truly admirable. I mean how she was able to overcome her past trauma and face it to be able to move forward and be happy with Zhen Hua.
Overall, this is truly enjoyable. I mean, I rarely like melodramas but this one is an exception just like Go Ahead. There's humor, intimacy, friendship, family and most importantly love. Gave this a 9.0
Truly deserve a higher rating despite the open ending for the FL.

Dropping this at ep. 12. I just keep on skipping scenes as it becomes too draggy. I was kinda looking forward for the noona romance. Sadly, romance is not the main focus of this drama but more of the career issues of the leads. Gave it a fair 7.0 for the good execution of kisses midway, but too minimal as well.

This started interesting for me until ep. 10 where I still have to wait for the remaining eps. I placed it on hold and have completed Lovely Runner, which I think have almost same concept as this one in terms of time travelling. Now, I went back to this and I think everything went downhill for me at this point for the MC. The SC has a more interesting romantic story so to speak. I guess, due to overly altered timelines that made this drama confusing and yes, I just find the chemistry of the leads quite bland. I've seen Fan Zhi Xin in My Lethal Man. His character and chemistry was on fire there. I'm just not feeling it here. His good acting is consistent though. Overall, it's a 7.0 for me. Still, a fan of Zhi Xin. Will look forward to see him more as ML in upcoming dramas.

Okay! My first time to watch Byeon Woo Seok in a lead role. Should I say, first time noticing him as an actor. Like I've seen dramas Search: WWW, Weightlifting FKBJ, and Moon Lovers SHR and didn't quite notice him there doing guest roles. I guess, this is really his time to shine. Nailed his role so well. I was hooked on this drama. Definitely noticed how cute, hot and dashing Woo Seok can be for his role as Seon Jae. As for the FL, Kim Hye Yoon, wouldn't forget her face in ExtraOrdinary You. This drama gave a bit of a similar plot with EOY, and quite reminded me of Twinkling Watermelon with the time travel thingy. Honestly, I'm not a fan of time travel plots. If I'm not mistaken, FL time travelled 4x in this drama and that was a bit off for me. Like, she could have done her purpose on the second attempt already. I mean, why letting ML die 3x before things can be done. It's quite bothersome tbh. Still, gave this drama a solid 9. Inspite of the flaws and loophole in the storyplot.
This drama gave me a total entertainment. Humor is one of the main ingredient. The crime aspect was already something I expect in a Kdrama which I think is its trademark. Like, a Kdrama wouldn't be complete if some crime mystery wouldn't be injected on it. And yes, the trend will always be the culprit plays hard to get and the crime will just be solved towards the finale.
For the leads chemistry, it was there, but, it's more of because ML really pulled off his role to make women's hearts flutter. For The FL, her acting was just the same on how she portrayed her role in Extraordinary You. but, she improved her kisses to say the least.
I guess, the only big downside for me on the story premise is the excessive use of time travelling and altering events. Like, come on, you're almost a God to alter each one's fate. Anyways, I liked the proposal was low key and for that happy ending, I would prefer the wedding ceremony to be presented and not just some mere glimpse of their future. Overall, I was entertained and yes, I was mesmerized by Byeon Woo Seok. 😍

I usually avoid tragic ending dramas but gave this a chance based on the given rating and read some reviews and comments on this drama. Honestly, I enjoyed the drama from ep. 1 to 20 I think or probably till ep. 30. I'm just a big fan of humor and sarcasm. And these Liudao Hall boys just gave me that complete entertainment. These boys really know how to eavesdrop and gossip. Those scenes were just totally hilarious. I'm not a fan of the leads tbh. FL's character is great. I like badass FL. Like, her sword skills are really no joke. I also like her romantic agressiveness towards the ML. ML is not bad himself. Like, his fight skills are totally insane. His naivety towards romance is quite cute. chemistry was definitely there between them. but, my downside was definitely the lack of skinships and not really good execution of kisses. Not to mention, it's quite lacking so to speak.
The strong bond between the Liudao Hall squad is really remarkable. Aside from the fact of so many tragedies in this drama. It's just sad that there's not even a secondary couple that could have at least given a happy ending. Overall, it's a solid 8 for me for the humor that I enjoyed from the boys. Could have given a higher rating if only the romance was notched up a bit and perhaps have more skinships and klsses. And yes, I was quite confused with the ending. So, both leads survived but was just not showned? since Chu yue met the MC's son in the end. the son even told how his dad takes care of them and how he and his sister have different last names. I think the saddest part for me here is Luan Yu's sad fate. I'm really interested if he and Princess Yang Ying got a chance to be actually together as a couple. Also, Shi San and Chu Yue. Like, why are they just for filler story? Sadly, I'm more interested to follow their story than the leads.
Anyways, still a good storyplot. But, the ending was just not presented well for me. It seems the leads seem like having a cat life after surviving so many near death experience.

I'm really not a fan of short mini series. But, just because the kisses are oftenly better here than full length ones that I got myself into these type of dramas. Sadly, this drama didn't gave much as to what I'm expecting, knowing Dai Gao was the ML. This, I should say is definitely a tropey drama. Like, everything was already predictable from beginning to end. First time to watch the FL, and felt her acting is still a bit bland. Sadly, the romance was kinda bland too, comparing this to Forever Love. A lot of teasing yes. A big check on Dai Gao's abs exposure as expected. And that proposal was just quite over the top for me. The business aspect wasn't quite presented well either. Overall, this is just a 7.0 for me. Just enough to watch Dai Gao.

I agree on that. And the romance in that drama is way much better than here.

Yeah, truly deserving. This also depends on their talent agency and manager I guess. Another actor I know who never had a full length drama as ML is Li Fei/ Richard Li.

My Lethal Man is a full length drama I believe. Given a 45mins per episode.

Thank you for the thorough explanation on Quantum Physics. This is the usual concept they use in time travel movies like Ant Man. So, it has a bit of proven theories that could actually manifest time travel per se. That makes sense.

The premise of this drama is really interesting. Of course, Fan Zhi Xin made this drama more interesting for me. 😍 I just find the romance department seem a bit lacking or slow burn I should say. knowing we're halfway thru the drama. Can't help to compare this with My Lethal Man as I've seen how good as a ML Fan Zhi Xin was on that drama romance and acting wise. He nails the action scenes as always. But, the infusion of humor in this drama seem a bit forced. And the chemistry between the leads seem a bit bland at this point. Still, looking forward on the remaining half of the drama. Really curious what kind of technology was used on that special mobile phone connecting two timelines.

Got curious on this high ratings and checked this out. Definitely not a fan of the leads. This is the first time I've seen Hu Yi Tien in a Historical setting. Same with FL. Not a fan of their romance either. It was presented too bland in this drama. Only one kiss for the entire series. Even how they got together wasn't even presented well. Honestly, I got hooked because of the supporting cast. My fave was Shayao and Shen Huan. Though, there was no intimacy between them, but the purity of their romance was so cute and sweet. Also secondary couples like Fudong and Bai, the sad fate of Rong and Zheng, and the other Hua sisters who got paired up with these good looking characters I must say. I was quite surprised to see Cesar Wu in a supporting role. Kinda used to seeing him as the lead. The 6th Prince being the next Emperor was kinda predictable midway given that he was trained very well by Cesar Wu's character. Overall, this was an enjoyable, light historical drama. Not too heavy. Gave this an 8. I just find the chemistry.of the leads quite bland. I guess the lack of kisses and intimacy plus how they got together wasn't presented well for me. The ending is just okay but the supporting cast got me hooked on this drama. I have to commend also the good fight scenes presented. And yes, enjoyed the injected humor by the subordinates of the Commander Bureau.
