After completing the drama, it just gave me A Love So Beautiful vibe. Just a subtle version of the ML. The ML here always treats the FL with kindness and not a single moment that he got angry with her. I'm really not a fan of youth dramas except for some that the relationship blossoms into adulthood. First time to watch Jun as ML. Never thought he was a Kpop idol, specifically Seventeen. That figures the rating of this drama. MC nailed their roles. I'm not a fan of the secondary couple. But, I did enjoy the love triangle trope between Yin Zi Han, Zhou Xing Yu and the ML. Glad to see Cheng Yu Feng in this drama. Overall, I can give this an 8 for the good kisses executed by the MC towards the finale. I find the drama slowburn. Like the romance progressed on the latter part of the drama, not even halfway. Lots of draggy parts for me. Still, a decent watch if you're into sweet fluffy romance with no complications at all plus a very supportive parents for both sides of the MC.
"When FanFan travelled back to 2012, there was another FanFan remained in 2024 that had amnesia?"There wasn't…
That made the scenes more confusing to majority of its viewers. Poor presentation by the director or editor I guess. They should have done it same as what The Atypical Familyndrama did. The past was in black and white color and the only in color was the ML himself to distinguish him from his past timeline and present time at the same scene. Anyway, good thing it has a good dose of romance. But, definitely not worth rewatching for me. Thank you for the inputs anyways. Appreciate it. š
"When FanFan travelled back to 2012, there was another FanFan remained in 2024 that had amnesia?"There wasn't…
Thank you for answering my questions though 2 years had already passed and vividly remembering the scenes. š But, as far as I remember it was showned that there was a FanFan on both timelines one in 2012 and one in 2024 at the same time. So, it can't be concluded that it was the same FanFan who time travelled just like how things were presented in the drama The Atypical Family. Though the ML travel on different timelines, his original state on that time remains there that's why he see himself on that timeline.
The plot isn't something new. Kinda reminded me of the drama Mysterious Love. First time to watch Eric Hsiao as ML. He nailed his role. His character here is a total green flag. As for the FL, I've already seen her in several dramas. Her role doesn't give much a strong character, but at least, gave a development towards the finale. What's good about this short series, it has abundant kisses and skinships. Though, I must say the kisses weren't delivered good enough. It's like the typical fish kiss.
Overall, still this is a decent watch for a short mini series. Lots of sweet moments between the MC from ep.17 onwards. You may dive in just for the romance.
When I saw the story premise of this drama, it reminded me of the drama About is Love. Same concept of the ML having allergic reactions interacting to women or should I say being touched by any woman physically.
I'm not a fan of the FL's character. Kisses are kinda weak in the beginning. Only to show that FL doesn't have feelings yet for the ML. And yes, the limited wardrobe change of the FL is so obvious around the first 7 eps. It's like, days have passed and she didn't even take a shower or change clothes. Overall, it's just another nothing else to watch drama and this shall pass for the mean time. a 7.5 for me.
Ok, I don't have issues on age gap relationships. If only the premise didn't made it looked like that the ML technically groomed the FL. The chemistry was there. Definitely hot kisses and yes, the intimacy was there. I just didn't like all the pretentions where it was so obvious that it was just the same person. Like, she was not born with a twin or a doppleganger. Oh and first time to watch Erfan. He's kinda cute but his role here seem irrelevant to the story. I'm not a fan of the genre but definitely watched for the romance. a fair 7.5 for me.
Cheng Yu Feng is definitely hot in this drama. Looking forward to see him in a full length. The story premise is just okay. Not so interesting for me. A bit dark in the beginning, but caught later on when everything was shed to light. Love the chemistry of the leads. Kisses and intimacy were very well presented. I just felt short on the ending, like, it could have been more. Overall, a decent watch and gave it an 8.
So, it's like the Korean version of The Time Traveller's Wife movie. The story premise is interesting. But the romance pace is quite slow. Am already at ep.9 and still the MC is not officially together. Knowing this has only 12 eps. Jang Ki Yong is still cute though. Let me see till the end how will this go. The romance of I-na and her school crush is much interesting as the guy had already confessed to her. Like, WTH? the daughter had her first romance in a fast pace than the father. š¤
Completed the drama at this point. The romance between the leads seem a bit lacking. Kisses were too short and I find their sweet moments too minimal. Still, gave a happy ending. Got curious who will Bok Ina be as a grown up lady in season 2. And yes, more interested in her love story. Gave this a fair rating of 8.5. Bok Nuri is just so cute. Just like his dad. Jang Ki Yong nailed his role as always.
So, I thought this was a remake of Drunken to Love You, I guess, this was the shorten version of it. It was predictable I should say. The premise of this drama started strong until ep 18 where the annoying part sets it. It's just too cliched when the antagonist does her thing of doing anything to get the ML. Like, aren't writers get tired of using this plot? š And here's the FL giving up then comes back in the end. Good thing there's no kid this time when the FL comes back. š The romance meter is high in this drama. I wasn't just convinced how the MC presented intimacy and kisses. The SC won it for me. Their intimacy and kisses are perfectly on š„. And yes, the SC had a better ending than the MC themselves. I was suppose to give this a 9 but have to downgrade it to 8 because I was more satisfied with the SC's story than the MC. Overall, not bad for a romance short mini series.
After completing the drama, here's my view on it. I really enjoyed the first half of it. Like I said in my prior comment, I'm so a fan of Historical dramas that have injected humor on it. Zhang LingHe did really great on this on the first half, specially the sarcasm. And yes, I wouldn't forget the confession between LR and PWX on ep 11. For me, that was the highlight of the drama. Midway, I believe that kiss finally happened which I find too short, also the bath scene which should have been the romance highlight of the MC but was even cut too short as well. The last 10 eps. basically focused on the Palace issues. The flashback on PWX story as well as SRQ's for them to be able to clarify what did actually happened in the past took quite most of the time as well. As for the finale, I think I did saw why most people complain about SRQ's prolonged screen time. It was that scene where he didn't dodge the sword from PWX and gave him time to pour all in his emotions to LR. Still, I was hoping to see more intimate moments of the MC towards the end, but , disappointingly, didn't give it. I was a bit disappointed too how things have ended. I understand that LR have to be the Princess Royal as the title conveys, but, I think Li Chuan ended up to have a better life than her. Well, she probably thought that she would be able to lead the country better than him, to avoid what happened in the past and her fear of dying in her brother's hands. It just didn't felt right for me when Li Chuan said in his letter that LR seeks for power so he's giving it to her. Like, this thought just bothered me a bit. I mean, the usual Royal Princess I know would love to get out of the palace, live a secluded and normal life with the man she loves. So her brother gets to enjoy this privilege while she has to carry all the burdens of the palace. Another thing for me, was the antagonists didn't get to be punished here till the end. Like, they just died and didn't even paid for all the wrongdoings they have done specially for Consort Rou and SRQ. I just hope they presented more scenes how happy they are as a family in the special eps instead of letting their kids talk about their jokes on getting a divorce. Overall, this is still a Zhang Ling He drama not to miss. Not a fan of the FL, but she was able to pull her character as The Princess Royal. The humor in the beginning made me hooked to this drama. Gave this a fair 8 rating.

Thank you for giving me an overview. Am enjoying this so far, specially the humor and cuteness of the 2 leads as they interact with each other. Will look forward more to their chemistry.

Thank you for giving me a warm and positive reminder on this drama. Same thoughts about ABAY. And the comments section there I think is more hyped up than here. Oh, I've loved Zhang Ling He since his drama Love Crossed and Sparkle Love. Just on ep.11 and so far, enjoying the chemistry of the leads. Not skipping any scene is a good sign for me. š
I must say, I am totally enjoying the first 10eps of this drama. Boy, am I glad I started this. I had to put ABAY on hold after being bored on halfway of the drama. I've always liked Zhang Ling He. second to Xu Kai. šI liked the fantasy aspect of the drama. And yes, the humor!!! I've always liked seeing Ling He doing romcoms. Another likeable thing here, it is quite fast paced and its giving an immediate feel good vibe between the leads chemistry. Storyplot is interesting too. The bickering part between the leads was just short which is another good point of this drama. I am so loving how the leads do support each other at this early point of the drama. Hope it will be sustained till the end.
Anyway, good thing it has a good dose of romance. But, definitely not worth rewatching for me.
