I think I started my Cdrama journey during the pandemic. Wherein good Kdramas are scarce so to speak.

I first saw Yang Yang in Love 020. You may want to check that out. I liked him back then. However, after finding these hidden gems as you've mentioned, I started to make a turn and yes, Song Joongki, Song Kang, Lee Dong Wook, Park Hyun Shik, Cha Eun Woo, Rowoon to name a few, aren't only the hottest men in the planet. Now, there's also, of course, Xu Kai, Wu Lei, Yang Yang, Li Fei, Jeremy Tsui and more of that unending list of the hottest men in the dramaland. 😍

Oh, and I haven't included yet some hot gents of the Jdrama land too. 😁

I almost dropped it too, but I was kinda looking forward for some progress in the romance for the supporting couples. Unfortunately, the drama was designed for Wu Lei to shine alone for the ratings I guess.

And that 80% confidence of undropping the drama....hmmmm....🤔

Still trying to finish Fireworks in my Heart. I almost dropped this after skipping the push and pull of the MC, not to mention the series of rescue ops. Glad the real fire started @ep.25. Still giving it a chance till the finale. 😊

Hahaha, that I am not sure about. I honestly don't have the slightest thing into court dramas so to speak. Tunnel just happened to have a fantasy element that I got hooked to it. So, that's a different case I guess.

Thank you for peaking into my list. 😁 Yes, Tunnel is absolutely one of the Kdrama classics and Yes, I can be glued to a drama with a very good story plot even with just a slight romance. 😊

Oh yes, Wu Lei' stares is not enough for me to give a 10 rating drama. I'm really not a fan of WeChat romance as they oftenly use it in the drama. And storyplot is too weak for me.

I just started this and having same thoughts. It had a good start, but, like you said, the push and pull of the MC takes so long. And yes, Why can't the FL act her age,? I mean, she's well established enough to discontinue her toxic relationship with the toxic mom. She now earns her own money. I wonder if how long will it go before the tides will change for the MC? currently on ep.15 and still seeing no progress. Just keep on pressing the skip button.
Hahaha the most scripted coincidence of letting the MC be together in every disaster! I feel you on that. .🤣Still trying to hold on...to my skip button. 😂

Thanks for a more thorough description of this drama. The more I won't watch it I guess. 😁I'm also into adult, serious relationship kind of stuff but it needs to have romance in it. Otherwise, I'd die of boredom. 😁

Oh my, it's you again Draco. Still giving that harsh comment as you did in Lost In Kunlun Mountains, which I've also put on hold with same reasons and haven't picked it up yet to this day. Try to reread and understand what's being said. Think before you speak. Just to make things straight and have to reiterate for you. I love Xu Kai, I'm not a fan of the FL. Never did I mention that I have degraded or have said anything negative about them or their acting. I said they were okay...okay is not a negative nor a bad thing to say. So don't try to twist or try to blow things out of proportion.
I've mentioned dramas above that I consider has all the elements I'm looking for in a drama. I can name a few more like The Killer is So Romantic, Mysterious Love, Forever Love(miniseries), My Letthal Man, My Uncanny Destiny, Ancient Love Poetry, Go Go Squid, Love020, Go Ahead, Once We Get.Married and the list goes on...these are just some of fire chemistry that I've mentioned.
Anyways, am glad you enjoyed this drama. Like I said, I love Xu Kai but this ain't the drama for me. Still, will continue to watch and support him though he rarely goes out of his country. Sadly.

Thank you for respecting my opinion and I understand your own judgement as well. I'm a romance freak in terms of drama. So, fire and passion is something I really look forward to in romance. Without these, a romance drama is considered bland for me in terms of chemistry. On the storyline aspect, Honestly, I rarely rewatch dramas for I have almost a hundred lined up for my Plan to Watch list and I plan to fulfill them one at a time so rewatching has really no space in my timeline. But, if times I get so immersed or fell in love with the characters portrayal, usually that kind of drama already got me from ep.1 one example.I guess was My Uncanny Destiny. Like, all the elements of a good drama that I'm looking for was there. A good storyline, On fire chemistry by the leads and yes, good humor too.

Am glad you enjoyed this drama along with others who's so into this. It's really not for me I guess, still I watched this just to see Xu Kai.

Oh no worries. You are indeed well versed in the English language. Sometimes, our words are being misinterpreted in the net world since everyone has each point of view. Some tend to understand some chooses only what they believe in and not open to anyone's idea sadly.
Oh, am happy it was Xu Kai that you've.seen in your first drama ( Falling Into Your Smile). I would recommend for you to watch Ancient Love Poetry. That' s the first drama I've seen Xu Kai. It's a Xianxia genre though, if you're okay to watch those. But, storywise, it was one of the best drama of him I've.ever.watched.
I can see your so much love for JingTian as much as my love for XuKai. I know she won an award along with XuKai for this drama. I'm a Xukai fan but, in my own opinion this wasn't his best drama, it is still ALP for me.

I said her role here is just okay which means the character doesn't require to showcase her acting for an audience to be awed.I also mentioned that I'm not a fan of her so with the obviois reason that I'm not interested to watch her other dramas.
Oh my, completing this drama is already a struggle for me. Asking me to rewatch this is kinda too much. I'd rather wait for Xu Kai's upcoming lined up dramas
Well, Xu Kai can be on fire as what he did in Falling Into Your Smile. The kisses were just too hot there in which I didn't see much here sadly. .

Obviously, I'm so here for our Birthday boy Kai. 😍 I'm still 10 eps away from the finale and decided to put this on hold. Yep, I've read the spoilers and definitely know where this story will go to. Honestly, I've placed this on hold prior like around the first 12eps. and just picked it up again, now, putting on hold again. Why is that so? As much as my love for Kai is strong, the story plot of this drama is just too weak for me. Even the romance for me is kinda bland.
I wouldn't even dare to drop this, of course, just watching him is enough to complete the drama. The kisses and chemistry just seem too weak for me. Like, I've watched Xu KAi dramas and definitely know his capacity when it comes to kisses. This is just not it. Not a fan of the FL though, but her portrayal and character here is just okay. Not something to really admire about but just simply okay. The elements of a Wuxia drama are here...the killings, fighting over the throne, back stabbing, poisons, blood spitting and all you can think of. Even the infusion of humor is quite bland so to speak. Anyways, Kai's always an eyecandy. No matter what he does, he always have that knight in shining armour look. I think this will be a 7.5 for me.

It started interesting for me but got draggy midway towards the end. Didn't like the ending at all. Like, come on, she didn't end up with anyone. I was hoping for a character development for the ML. I mean, he has a great potential for loving the FL so much. He just have to learn how to truly express himself and lessen his pride. Same goes for the FL. Too much pride also that she ended up with no one. Self love is okay but if its done too much, it's already selfishness. Too much pride on yourself. Loosen up a bit for you to be able to live a happy and normal life. It's 6.5 for me. not my cup of tea. and yes, this is by far overrated for me.

A more realistic approach in the glimpse of relationships. Honestly, I didn't like the FL's character. But, good thing there was a character development later on. I really liked how things ended here. It gave me morelike of a healing vibe rather than character development. I have to commend Lin Shi Chieh's character. Such a loyal guy who can resist temptation, a rare species indeed. And yes, I also admired the ML's character. Inspite the hardships he's been going through with his family, he proved that he's a man with ambition. Of course, his loyalty is also commendable. With the BL, Chu Yu Sen, glad he found the right partner. The inner me though, hopes he'll be a straight guy. Overall, this was a good watch for those who are open to all kinds of relationships. And yes, for the parents, such a feel good vibe to see reconciliation and love all over again. Gave this an 8.0. Like it took me around an episode or 2 to know what's really going on. But, it'll get better as it goes.

Main reason for watching this is because of Zhai Zi Lu. I've liked him since I saw him in Lucky's First Love back in 2019. For the storyline, this really has a great potential. Every character has their own story to tell. Yes, there were tearjerking moments, which is the strong point of this drama. FL's character is likeable. I like her simplicity, kindness and loyalty to all her friends. ML's character is likeable in the beginning. However, his character went downhill for me towards the end. Downside of this drama, it mainly focused on the youth aspect of the story. I was hoping for progression midway, like graduating from Senior High, then a glimpse perhaps of their college life towards their Career life. Sadly, everything was squeezed in the finale that it felt rushed. Another downside for me is the lack of romance and yes a total slow burn. Of course, I have to mention that very unsatisfying ending. Like, not communicating for 4 years with such a petty reason of being jealous to a guy who's a complete misunderstanding. Like, WTH?!!! And that was easily forgiven. And yes, coming back after 4 years as if nothing just happened. Dang! I'd rather burn the bridge than go back with that kind of guy. such a wasted potential for a supposedly good storyline. Just a 7.5 for me. Enough rating for a few laughs I had on some funny moments with the gang and their parents. One last thing, I hope they made at least a spelling difference with the FL's name and 2FL's. so confusing at times. And yeah, so ML never get to see his portrait made my FL. I mean, what's the point of showcasing it if it will not be relevant till the end.

I haven't checked out Perfect Marriage Revenge. I might consider later on. I want to take a break from time travel, revenge tropes. 😁

I just finished Marry My Husband. I really enjoyed it and gave it a 10 rating. 🥰 Rare gem. One of the best revenge plot drama I've ever watched.

After completing the drama, I think this was the next best Kdrama I've watched since Strong Woman Do Bong Soon. I'm usually not into time travel trope drama, but this really got me hooked from ep.1. Yes, the story is somewhat predictable, but never expected that it will be presented this good. Aside from the story itself, I have to commend the entire cast for superb acting! Daebak! But, of course, I need to make an applaud for the exemplary acting of Song Ha Yoon as Soomin. She really made me hate her character from that look on her face not to mention that irritating acting cutesie and playing victim all the time. I also have to commend Lee Yi Kyung for pulling off MinHwan's character perfectly. Like, these 2 truly deserve an acting award.
Aside from the perfect ending, I really liked how they made the simple wedding proposal for the MC. And yes, that truly deserved lavish wedding. It is also important for me to mention the best revenge plot I've ever watched so far in dramaland. Why did I say so? Because in every episode, it gives you a feel good vibe. Unlike, other revenge plot dramas, it will give you a heavy feeling but this one didn't gave me that. It was my first time to watch Na In Woo in a drama. I must say I'm not a fan of him as ML, but his character here just gives off that green flag signal. Not a fan of Park Min Young either, she still wears those inappropriate office clothes like what she did in Forecasting Love and Weather. But, she really nailed that hair and overall look when she attended that reunion. and yes, the wedding too.
Finally, a rare satisfying ending for a Kdrama. Truly deserve a 10.0 rating for me. And yes, this is underrated. This is a must watch.

I just started with Marry My Husband. Currently on ep2. I thought so too that they have almost similar storyline. And yes, I got hooked on ep.1 with this Kdrama. Thanks for the headsup! am sure this has a way better ending. 😁
