I'm so not into youth dramas but checked out this one hoping it would be like Put Your Head on my Shoulder or Forever Love. Unfortunately, it didn't meet my expectations. It started interesting but got really draggy after an episode or 2. I was kinda looking forward for the love triangle to be stretched between Fl, ML and An Jia Xian. But, it didn't. And yeah, kinda hoped for a bit revenge too towards Liang Xia, the biatch friend. I think it would be much interesting if An Jia Xian realized he loved FL instead of that biatch friend.
Anyways, didn't like the secondary couples.I think the only character I liked is Wang Yuyang. He's really funny.
This is a very light fluffy drama. All supportive parents. But, the romance is just too light for me. Overall, it's a 7.0

Definitely here for Miles Wei. Had a strong start but got draggy for me after 5 eps. Miles pursuing FL was stretched too long. I have to agree with others. Why limited suits for Miles? He should have been given good casual clothing as well. The chemistry was there. Kisses were good but for some reason I'm just not feeling that spark. I guess, Miles being married keeps on lingering on my mind.
Yang Shi Ze still gives me that JK of BTS aura. One good thing of this drama is the very supportive family of ML towards FL. NO toxic vibe. Ovetall, this is an average romcom fluffy drama for me. 7.5 it is.

That's sad to know if it's true. But, I still believe it depends on the artist manager or talent agency. They are responsible for getting projects for their talents or artists. Say for example, Xu Kai. His agency is really doin' a great job getting all these projects for him not to mention his product endorsements as well are really overwhelming.

Definitely agree. Hope he gets more contemporary full length drama too. Missing his role in The Crush season 1 and 2 😍

After completing rhe drama, I can see now why the low ratings. First, the ending seem rushed and forced. Second, FL's character had a good start but the last 4 eps made her character such a self centered woman. This is a wasted potential. I like ML's character and the kisses were perfectly delivered. I also liked that the corporate issues weren't much dragged. First time to watch ML in a drama. I think I would like to see more of his future dramas.

I define my jiudgement based on how I enjoyed the drama in its romantic level. I guess you base your judgement on characters they play alone. Story and romance is my criteria so to speak.
As long as we all enjoy the dramas we preferI is what's most important.

Currently on ep9 and ML's character just tempting me to drop this drama. It's my second rime to watch ML in a drama. The first was Two Conjectures of Marriage and it seems he's playing almost the same role/character. The only difference is the profession. He's an IT expert in TCOM, while a Doctor here. But, the way he treats his wife is almost the same. After reading some comments here, I think I know what to expect in this drama which I think wil have the same ending as TCOM.
Now on the 15th, I'm really annoyed with FL's brother. So meddlesome. Like, he thinks he knows everything. He didn't even bother to know why his sister got divorced in the first place. I don't think any member of FL's family knew that she got operated with appendicitis and suffered alone. Sometimes, people are so blinded with succesful careers that they think that person is already so ideal. Just really annoying.
Now on the 27th, this is kinda confusing me regarding the child Ning Xiang's setup. Like he was supposedly taken back by his biological mother already, but it seems he's still spending more time staying at Dr. Ning's place. I mean, what's the point of reuniting to the real mom if instead he prefers going back instead. just illogical.
Just completed the drama at this point. This should have ended in ep. 30. Eps. 31-36 were simply too irrelevant or non sense. Specially, scenes like FL doesn't know how to deliver a child in an emergency case, like come on, you're a doctor, even a policeman or a nurse can deliver a baby in emergency cases given the situation. Also, asking a colleague why ML got an amnesia...what? aren't neurosurgeons should know that?!!
I guess the writer lacked research on this.
Not a fan of the SC either. Overall, this is just a 6.5 for me. There's nothing to like in this drama tbh. Chemistry of MC is just too bland as well.

As far as I remember, it was not showned that they had a child. I think they were reincarnated with memories intact if I have not mistaken. It has an open ended ending like you'll assume they see each other again on their reincarnation.

Just 9eps to go and trying my best to stay on the drama. Am just not so into youth oriented dramas. Thr romance is just too bland for me I guess. I'm just getting a Go Ahead, A love so Beautiful and Reply 1997 or 1988 vibe. The hairbangs is just so there. Same school issues, same love triangle puppy love thingy. It's just nice to hear American music as part of this drama. Neo looks so young here. Also Wan Peng, her role is way much better in My Gf is an alien.Anyways, will try to see how this ends if I can hold on still and put on my verdict.
So, I was able to complete the drama at this point. This is just not so my cup of tea. Like the entire drama evolved on their 18yrs of age alone. I was hoping there would be glimpse of their college life until they are working adults. Not even their Senior High grad. was showned. Kinda disappointed too with the characters, like the moms here are surely.tiger moms. And the women are characterized to be not smart in school.Ljke, I would umderstand if its just one of them but all of the 3 girls aren't sadly. And yeah some missed out details like the roller skates thing is a thing in the 80's not the late 90's. And come on using candles in school during blackouts? There's a thing called rechargeable lamps in the 90's era. Every household and businesses have it.
And that ending for me sucks. Like FL ended uo with no one. The SML was able to confess his feelings while the ML did not. Like WTH?!!! It's a 6.5 for me. This too over rated. Go Ahead, A Love.so Beautiful and Put Your Head on my Shoulder is way better than this. I like Neo, but this is a waste of time TBH.

I guess you're more hooked with the Japanese culture itself and not really just on the actors per se. As for me, I mostly remember names of people who I find really good looking. And I usually.watch dramas whose actors are feast to my eyes. Very a few dramas that I enjoy that the actors aren't good looking. And yes, good acting is also vital for both leads to be able to pull off a good chemistry for me to be hooked in a particular drama. Apparently, Chinese and Korean actors are great at those that I'm more immersed with them than Jdramas.

Thank you for the inputs. Honestly, I am not familiar to any of the Japanese female actors. Only a few Jap. male actors stick to my mind like Kentaro Sekuguchi and Kento Yamazaki.
I am more into Chinese actors and actresses. That, I can name lots of them also Korean hallyu actors and actresses. 😁

But there are good romance jdramas I get to enjoy like Chijo No Kiss, Love Phantom, Tokyo Love Story, Love and Fortune...to name a few. I mean Jdramas can do extreme skinships and romance if I may say. I prefer these type of Jdramas that has more depth in the story as well.

Definitely watched this because of Rowoon. Never been a fan of Bo Ah. She's just so lucky to be paired always with these good looking hallyu stars. Her face just doesn't fit a FL role and the acting is just so so....Anyways, the story plot itself is just a typical kdrama shifting of Joseon era to modern plot. Kinda reminds me of Rooftop Prince. Enjoyed a few funny moments mostly executed by Rowoon. And yes, Rowoon's acting have notched up in this drama. I just have to skip most of the ost playing scenes that took most of the time. Specially, on the Joseon era part. And yeah, the karaoke singing took a lot of time too that I have to skip.
Eps.13-14 are just too pathetic. I just hated FL's character on those 2 eps big time. Overall, if you're a Rowoon fan, this is surely not to miss. Oh yeah, 2ML is cute too. I just hope he was given a partner in the end. Gave this an 8 for a good ending at least and most definitely for Rowoon's great acting and cuteness overload! 😍

Sure, that's your opinion you may spaek whatever you want and I would speak mine. You say Xu Kai is talentless, that's your opinion, it's okay. Because in reality, Xu Kai is now massively popular with all the branded products he has been endorsing aside from continuos projects given to him at the peak of his career right now. His success speaks for how talented he is and not simply good looking.So, no matter how you bad mouth him won't affect his career as he has millions of fans globally who support him.
I rest my case on your idol. I'll stand my opinion on her alone and not to any women in this world.

That 's your opinion but Xu Kai is not bad in acting either. He's a good kisser in his roles as a matter of fact. And he's really good in romcoms that made him more popular.
Yes, you can definitely say I'm not attracted to her that's why I stated I am avoiding her dramas already so to speak. You can continue idolizing her as I can co tinue to love Xu Kai as he is. This is a free world, no one can be spared to anything specially on the social media. There will always be critics. That's the harsh reality of life because we all live in a harsh world. You just have to learn to live with it to survive. 😐

Oh well, that's your personal opinion. But, globally speaking, I think Xu Kai is quite popularly known than her. And we have different reasons why we idolize a person. I liked Xu Kai not because of his acting but I really like his face.I watch his dramas because I love looking at him regatdless of acting and roles. So how you idolize your actress is your thing not mine. 😉
