Great! these 3 are the closest genre I can suggest. But, if you also watch historical dramas there are also good romance dramas I can suggest, but historical dramas have usually longer number of episodes.

These are some I remembered that leads have great chemistry, skinships and decent story.

I watched this because Richard Li's in it. Not really fond of short mini series. This one is just not so Richard Li's drama. It totally lacked kisses and skinships. Such a low budgeted drama. Screen size is just like taken from a mobile phone. I feel sad for Richard Li. He definitely deserve a full length drama. Just a 6.5 for me.

I've been contemplating to watch this and decided to give it a go. My first time to watch Zhang Zi Yi in a drama. Usually see her in movies like Memoirs of Geisha and Crouching Tiger hidden Dragon. Story plot is basically a cliche for a Historical drama where there is greed for power, Politics in the Monarchy and Yes, the anticipating romance between a General and a Princess.
I like the cinematography and good fight scenes by the ML. One thing I like about this drama, inspite of having 68eps., the romance started quite an early phase. No need to wait halfway for the real deal romance between the leads. So, am currently at ep. 14 and the heart fluttering moment began at ep. 13. Hope , the romance will be sustained till the end. Will update my post once I have completed the drama.

At this point, I've completed the drama. This should have been tagged as Reverse Harem. I just don't have points to tag it. I think around 5 men fell in love with FL here. The story plot also reminded me of Oh My General and Truth or Dare. There are some scenes in the drama that can also be seen in those above-mentioned. As expected, there are lots of bloodshed, treachery and deception. A bit predictable for me after watching so many historical dramas. But, I have to commend the actors of the entire cast are truly Awesome! Zhang Zi Yi's beauty is still a classic. But, I have to agree with some. Still, would have preferred a younger ML and FL. ML's character is not that ideal but likeable. He may not be as dashing as the other actors who portrayed General but he slayed his role. Like, He was able to pull of that General character and made him the most handsome General in this drama. hehehe There are some character that i least like in this drama, one is Su Jin Er, I just hate her character from the start when she was still a maid to FL. she's already showing signs of obssession to 3rd Prince. and the other is Yu Xiu, inspite of her being loyal and nice to FL when she was still her maid, I find her become greedy after she got married to Gen. Song. Like, it's so obvious that Song is really not into her but she thinks she's already somebody after being married to him. Her character might be pitiful but that suicide for me is a selfish act of just being too obssessed with her husband. she didn't even think about the welfare of their child. And I find her acting too exaggerated.

So FL's beauty is such a killer, that 3 of the men who fell in love with her died literally. I just have 2 questions left for this drama. One, Zitan is still the Emperor after being proven that he plotted the assassin attempt to the late emperor or his brother in Luanying Mountain if I got the place correct? Like, why was he never got punished or imprisoned perhaps? Second, who's taking care now of Ji'ner or the baby of the late emperor and empress? Did Wang Su'er and Princess Caien took responsibility in the end? I must have skipped that part and didn't notice.

Anyways, overall, it was a good drama. Still, 68 eps is too long. this would have been good to only around 30-40eps. Have to frwrd scenes specially in the middle part where it tends to be draggy. So many have died, which is one downside for me. And yeah, probably, since the leads are abit mature, I find the kisses and skinships quite lacking. One thing I noticed, ML looked a bit younger when he had the mustache compared at the beginning when he had that neat look.
It's an 8.5 for me.

Honestly, the mom didn't do such things for her son, but she overdid things for herself, because she's too afraid about others' opinion on their family. She doesn't have to ruin the FL's life and even affect her family just for the sake of her son. That's too much. FL is also a daughter to her parents, for sure FL's parents are hurt also because of what ML's mother did. That mother is not normal, she's psychologically ill and should seek therapy or treatment.

Probably, I just don't like the FL in Love at Night. Her acting is so lame in all her dramas. However, I read a recent article that she and LXY are currently dating with pictures caught by paparazzi.

So, i started out this drama trying to check what slices of life can it offer about marriage. Am just currently on ep. 4. I think 38 eps is a long way to go. But, so far, this drama doesn't feel inspiring at this point. The FL honestly, is not ideal for me. She thinks too highly of herself. it's always a compromise between a married couple how will you divide your time to raise your kid. I don't think money is an issue for this couple. I guess, it's about mutual respect with each other's personal preference. Like the FL wants to pursue music and the ML doesn't support it. Now she wants to revive her career just to prove her worth. Probably, modern women does prefer having a career and a family at the same time. True, it's all about time management and balance. Some are really okay with that arrangement. In my POV, I still prefer to be a a stay home mom and wife. I know how it feels to be tossed around as a kid when both of your parents are busy working. A devoted mom to her child will always be priceless no matter what. And for marriage, taking care of your husband is part of your devotion as well. a wife who cooks and takes care of his husband and kid usually results to a harmonious family life. If money is really not an issue, being a housewife doesn't give any less of a value as a woman.
I might put this on hold, it's sending me a stressful vibe because of the FL.

It really depends on the viewer I guess. Probably GenZ's would appreciate this and give it a high rating. But, for those who prefer a mature setting like me, it's either a drop or a skip scenes for me. 😁

Not familiar with Eguchi, but, upon checking she's also included in Love and Fortune. I think I missed out the role that she played. Was she the big sister of the FL there?

Okay i'll tick on the spoiler alert. I just think I didnt spilled anything to spoil the audience.. Just gave a short synopsis and honest opinion about the drama. 😆🙃

I think the alter name for this drama is Animal type Lovers. Yes, they used animals to symbolize the kind of life they want to perceive figuratively.

I've been wonderin' where I have seen these two: FL and SML. When I saw the recommendations section, oh yeah, these 2 are the leads in Kakafukaka. I think the chemistry of these 2 are much better in that drama. First time to watch ML in a drama. Yes, he's goodlooking, but, that charm wasn't able to give that heart fluttering moment for me. Story plot is very plain and simple. not really interesting. The ending is just a meh as well. Generously gave this a 6.5 for some kisses and skinships. But, for a romance drama, the chemistry is just too lacking for me.

Oh yeah, but, literally, I didn't see any character growth on all Haru's role in all of her dramas. lols
Lost interest in watching Remolove after seeing she's the lead.

This is a decent watch drama. The characters aren't likeable I should say. From the leads to supporting casts. ML is very passionate with his career, also with love, very loyal but, what idon't understand, he wants to live with FL forever but doesn't want to marry her. As for the FL, I understand how she felt and what she has to go through with the people surrounding her. But, of course, just like any other women, she felt she needed security in a relationship and that is marriage, in which ML couldn't give her, up to the end. It's just hard to understand a man wants to live with you forever but doesn't want to get married. Does it make sense? Like how about having kids later on?
Anyways, still gave this drama an 8 for being able to show a realistic scenario. Yes, there will always be some hateable characters such as FL's mom and previous affair Mr. Takanayagi. How I really hated those lines when he said it's okay for younger women to have an affair with older men but not older women with younger men...that's so pathetic!
And yes, this drama deserve a higher rating at least for the steamy kisses and intimate scenes. Chemistry of the leads is definitely on fire.

So this is a drama special. I thought it's a movie, since it lasted only for an hour with a single episode. Story is not so interesting to begin with. Just a typical first love story. And yeah, the typical Jdrama romcoms with all the exaggerations in expression. Just a 7.5 for me. Btw, Konno is more good looking than the ML.
