So this drama is very wholesome. Like almost no skinships at all. Probably because the ML''s portrayal is a minor. Story plot was interesting. I just find the characters of SML and Anatagonist so pathetic. Antagonist is a complete Psycho. She should have been sent to a mental institution for a rehab. SML knows everything and he didn't took action specially when all the crimes committed are layed down before him. Not really a fan of the FL's character here, she's kinda fierce though. I just didn't like the fact that it took 10 episodes before she can figure out how she feels about the ML. ML's character was portrayed well as a stubborn rich kid that later on matured in time. The ending was just okay for me. Still, the story was enjoyable to watch. Gave this an 8, but still, I prefer if there were more sweet moments and skinships among the lead couple.

This was just another okay jdrama for me. Chemistry of the leads was there. But, somehow, didn't get much of that heart fluttering moment. The intimacy were neatly done but not as good as Chijo no Kiss drama. Storywise, isn't much interesting. Just got me hooked because of the ML, I find him cute. it's just 7.5 for me.

This is just an okay drama I guess. The skinships are delicately done here. I think it is way better in the drama Chijo no Kiss. As the story requires, yes, lots of intimate scenes. Still, i would prefer passionate kissing before going intimate and all. Chemistry was definitely there but didn't like that the story evolved simply of misunderstandings. It started strong but went downhill for me in the last 2 episodes. Lots of flashbacks that consumed more of the screen time. And yeah, here goes the typical Jdrama of exaggerated expressions. Just a 7.5 for me.

This drama is too damn hot to handle. Hottest drama I've watched so far. The story didn't have much to offer. Just simply evolved with a guy who fell in love with his highschool classmate who's a book worm and chased her 10years after. If you're such a romance enthusiast just like me, this one is for you to watch. Skinships to the max. I just felt sad for the SML. He's cute and hot too. Basically, all the leads in this drama are such an eyecandy. An 8.5 for me. Definitely gave me that heart fluttering moments and whew! just way too hot. 😍

So I've been checking out Jdramas lately as I am amazed how fast paced they are. The story plot here is very simple. Just a lady in her early 30's who wants to settle down and looking for her Mr. Right. Just so happens that this young lad out of the blue confessed his feelings and the rest is history. i'm so a big fan of noona romance, however, I think this one is the least type of the ones I've seen. The ML for me here is literally a boy and not yet a man. On the contrary, i admire his courage to settle down at such a young age. I guess, regardless of age, ML's representation here is quite immature yet. Though, he's striving hard to earn at such a young age, I just really think it's quite too early for him to settle down specially if he isn't capable yet enough to start and support his own family. Just stating facts on life's reality struggles. For the FL, just a typical woman who would fall for someone who does special things for her romantically speaking. Obviously, she followed her heart and not the mind that reminds her of reality. This drama tried its best to show a happy ending. But for post marriage, I think i can see the reality where it was showned during the early times they cohabitated and everything was so disorganized that there was a complete struggle of doing things such as household chores or simply preparing dinner at home. i guess, what I am trying to imply here is marrying a younger guy is perfectly fine specially when both of you are in love, but at least the younger guy should have that maturity enough to know all his responsibilities as a man specially when entering marriage. I think the MLs character has not been ideally represented here in this drama so to speak. For that highest I can give is a 7.5, understandably justifies the current rating of this drama.

Got curious with the ratings and decided to check this out. Thought it would have the same vibe as Search:WWW Kdrama. A bit close but on a different approach. Among the 3 FL, i didn't like Xia Meng's character. She seem to have extreme superiority complex. I can't blame Jishong for leaving her in the beginning. But, among the 3, I think she has the most colorful love life. Like despite her not so good personality, she has 2 good looking men chasing her. Of course, Fang Xin, the girl being fancied by most men. She has the nice personality but not so fortunate with her love story. Still found the right one for her on the latter part. and lastly, Liu Jing, the girl with problematic parents. Another one lucky lady with 2 hot men wooing her. So basically, the story evolved on how these 3 girls found the love of their lives despite the challenges with their families and work. Yes, there are a bit of intimate and steamy kisses which was showcased on a bit later part, which makes this drama a bit slowburn if I may say. i liked that the story was squeezed into 20eps only. Overall, this is an enjoyable drama. Highest I can give is 7.5 with the reason that I find the sweet moments too lacking. Like most of the scenes were spent on playing hard to get or resolving work and family issues. The ending is just okay too, but quite wondering howcome FangXin got pregnant first instead of Xia Meng or Liu Jing knowing they have more intimate encounters than FangXin. just find it odd.

So, this is the 2nd Jdrama I've watched recently, as i stopped watching Jdramas for quite sometime as I find it always slow paced and too conservative. I believe this is the first Jdrama i watched that is quite fast paced. Kinda surprised too that they can now showcase intimacy and passion for romance. This drama doesn't have much to offer in terms of story plot. but, as a romance enthusiast, I really did enjoy this drama a lot. I liked the ML's character here. He knows how to take responsibility of his actions. The FL's character is just okay, I just dunno if she's really that naive since she can handle intimacy so well. Overall, the drama is very light. No major antagonist. The love triangle trope isn't much emphasized. Almost all of the episodes focused on the main leads which is good. The endng is just okay. Not really satisfied with that Proposal. and with that highest I can give is an 8.

It's been a long time since I watched a Jdrama. The reason behind it is simply because most Jdramas are slow paced and too conservatively done. I believe this is the first Jdrama that I gave a rating of 9.5 I also rarely watch mystery, psychological genres. However, this one I should say is one of the rarest exception. I never thought I would be hooked from ep. 1. The story for me is something new. Like not a typical crime of passion or typical mystery crime stories that you would hear of. The best about this drama is that it is not predictable. Surprisingly, the writer was able to squeeze in the full story only by 8 episodes. And these 8 episodes are completely satisfying. It's a complete package I would say. The sweet moments were there, the kisses and skinship are very on point, the mystery and twists are superbly organized. Some might get confused on the ending but as per explained by the ML, he's willing to sacrifice everything even his identity for the sake of bringing happiness to the one he loves and start anew. The most important thing is that the strong bond of love is there no matter what label they may have. Of course, we live in such an imperfect world, it may look like a perfect getaway from a crime, but for me, it's just how fate can unfold if such person has gone through so much suffering and deserve to be happy in this life. Overall, this drama is so neatly done. Definitely deserves a higher rating and highly recommended.

I see, will try to check it out, though I am not so into military dramas. Is this some like a remake of Descendants of the Sun Kdrama? Hope not, the character depiction is quite the same. Thanks for the recommendation.
Yeah, Huang JunJie is quite a bit young, but i liked that he was able to pull off a mature role in Truth or Dare. I'm a big fan of noona romances so I guess, I prefer watching these not so young gentlemen. one main reason is simply because they are bolder. I just reaally get bored watching too conservative dramas. Like it doesn't give a realistic appeal anymore.
And with Allen Ren's wife, most definitely its true love since they already have a child or children to this day. If the one child policy has already been lifted in China so to speak.

I think i came across to one of his dramas which is Something Just Like This. i dropped it eventually, got bored after watching a few episodes of it. I think i prefer the guy Huang JunJie from the drama Truth or Dare. He's a good kisser too...in the drama of course. 🤣

Congratulations on being able to complete a totally No Burn drama. 😁 That's one main reason why i didn't watch One and Only. For some reason, I liked Allen Ren's soft spoken personality that makes you look forward to see his bold side. Unfortunately, can only be seen by the wife. 😁 He's like the boy next door type suppressing his inner hot image. Still, i have to pass on him. A bit tired of slow burns. There's a pool of C ML to look forward to anyways, to name a few...Jeremy Tsui, Xu Kai, Wang Hedi, Zhang Linghe and so on...😍

I've already watched it last year when it was initially aired. Gave it a 7.5 for so slowburn and too minimal skinships. Like the kiss just happened on the last few episodes and done so conservatively as expected from Allen Ren's drama. Same goes when I watched Miss Crow with Mr. Lizard. I've seen Bai Lu 's kiss scenes in Love is Sweet with Luo Yun Xi and that I would definitely say has no reservations. I guess, C married ML do really have reservations on skinships when it comes to their roles just like the ML in Dream of Splendor.

How's the romance so far for this drama? Quite hesitant to start. Liked Allen Ren, but all of his dramas that I've watched so far are slowburn and with limited kisses. I dunno if it has something to do with him being married in real life so he limits skinships on his dramas.

I watched this because of He Yu. I've always liked him since the drama My Fated Boy. I thought this would have the same vibe, but it didn't. This drama has a more youthful approach. I find the portrayal of the ML too childish here. As I mentioned, I've seen him portray a more mature role in My Fated Boy and I was hoping to see him just the same in that drama. This is just too slowburn for me. there were a few funny moments, but it was more of a drag for me. I also liked SML Zhang Zi Jian as I've watched him also play a supporting role in My Dear Brother. I also find the romance for the second couple too lacking. So, overall, I think this has been quite overrated. Just a 7 for me.

I am so not a fan of soul swapping dramas, but I want to make Love Between Fairy and Devil the greatest exception. Technically, this has been the 3rd soul swapping Cdrama I've watched. the other one is Two Souls in One which has a great story plot too and chemistry by the leads.
For this drama, I think this is just an okay drama for me. The ratings just caught my attention and thought it would have same romantic charms as watching Go Go Squid, Falling into you smile or Love 020 perhaps. yes, the chemistry of the l;eads was definitely there. Kisses were perfectly executed. I guess, the story focused more on the soul swapping aspect and not really the romance, though it was there. I just felt still, it was lacking. Like the sweet moments are really lacking since they can't date normally as a couple plus the reason of avoiding physical contact to avoid the swapping to recur. And that spur of moment that they have just been an official couple for a day or two and have to break up that soon. The ending was just okay but not the kind of ending I was looking forward to. Of course, marriage and having a kid will surely make a happy ending for me. And I was kinda looking forward for Jang Yi to announce to the world how he's so in love with Sheng Sheng even way before the paparazzi exposure happened.
Been a fan of Xin Cheng since Go Ahead. Love to see him play a lead role this time. He's cute as ever. And for Jie Liang, happy to see her to have great chemistry as well with other lead men aside from Xing Zhao Lin. she's definitely a good kisser I should say. 😁 I kinda felt this drama was overrated. just an 8 for me. Overall, still a good drama to watch.
