It took me awhile to start on this drama. Decided to give it a go this time. I didn't watch the first franchise of this drama, only the second season. You'll be able to pick up the story even you haven't watched the first one since there are flashbacks that would let you connect to the story. I must say, I enjoyed the second one rather the third. I guess, the twist of the main leads going to the modern world gave it an exciting vibe. Of course, the great chemistry of the main leads is undeniable. Watched most of the dramas of this couple after watching season 2 of this drama. On this third season, the sweet kisses are still there, but, kinda felt it more on the second. Another pool of goodlooking men was presented here. I liked Chen Jing Ke or Xiao Zhen here who I first had a crush on Hello Mr. Gu. I just hope he plays more lead roles next time. And the dashing Ni Han jin who played Pugu as Fen Yang's love interest. First watched him at Princess Silver and Love by Hypnotic. and yeah, I felt sad for the characters of Xiao Zhen and Mo Yan Chen. They're goodlooking kind hearted men who loved a woman with the same face but different character. I guess, that's what made me sad for this 3rd franchise, Lots of unrequitted love. Overall, still a good drama to watch. Highest I can give is an 8.

This drama was in my on-hold list for quite sometime. I paused at ep. 7 as I kinda find it draggy. Glad to go back to it at ep. 8 where the story started to gets interesting. Definitely this is more of a romance drama evovlving in the fashion industry during the republican era. First seen FL at drama The Trick of Life and Love. Acting was just okay, but one thing noticeably about her is that she can handle a romantic kiss very well in both of her dramas. First time to watch ML. ML's character is the typical romantic and loyal guy. Quite likeable but in terms of looks I think I prefer Su Yi more. That hairdo though of the ML is quite unusual. hehehe Story is kinda cute . Issues are usually resolved in an episode, so nothing much heavy. I just feel sad for the SML. He's a nice guy and deserves a partner too. I wonder why didn't the writer just give the original Lu Yi Ling a character development and just ended up with SML so that everyone will be happy. Another loophole here, there was no clear explanation why Lu Yiling and Mi Jiuer looked alike. Like it wasn't explained if they were twins or something. though the ending just gave a hint as it looks like it runs in the genes. Overall, a cute sweet story. Plus the kisses were executed well here. highest I can give is an 8.

Am really not into food drama, but decided to check this out with its good rating and comments. This drama has a feel good vibe. Basically the story simply evolved entirely of the food business. If you're so into food, this is the perfect drama for you. Like there is not a single episode wherein a cooked food is not featured. Definitely you'll salivate for each episode. But, i just realized that chinese foods are mostly cooked in deep fried oil. May taste delicious but not healthy I guess. Plating of food are nicely done as well. It's like eating in a 5star michelin resto. First time to watch the leads. Great chemistry! The ML is not the typical CEO handsome type of guy that we're used to, but he was able to pull off that role with his great portrayal of having expert martial arts skills that made him quite look hot. Overall, this drama is quite entertaining.

Always been a fan of Xu Kai Xin, and he's the main reason i watched this. However, I think this is the least i liked among his dramas. Lots of draggy moments for me, specially the school flashbacks. Still, Xu Kai Xin was able to pull that romantic ML character. the story just mainly lacked substance I guess. Highest i can give is a 7.

Thank you for the inputs. Tried to continue and am glad that she did some alterations on the events that she should really ought to change. Currently on ep. 9. This will definitely be a total struggle for me, but will definitely hold on for Zhai Zi Lu as I really look forward to see him play a lead role this time. FL's character here is quite a bit similar to the FL's character in The Sword and the Brocade. I just hope the romance here would level up a bit just like in that drama.

Am just at ep. 5 right now. It has been interesting for the first 5. But, am quite annoyed that FL was given a chance to redo her future, still she intends to follow the same path as she did before. I'm not sure if this drama would still go further interesting. All I am interested is the development of the romance between the main leads and not the SML, but it seems it won't happen again given the chance...sigh...I guess, this will be another slowburn drama.

Am really not a fan of short length series, as I prefer watching the story continuously and not to end every 5mins of it. But, this one is one of those exceptions. I did also watch season 1 and got hooked with the leads great chemistry. I'm quite hesitant to watch this at first since they changed the ML and I prefer the former ML of this series. Still, the chemistry was there and the new ML was able to nail it. Yes, it has all the cliches yet i still enjoyed it. A bit slowburn for me and I was hoping for a twist in the story like perhaps FL would be the legit heir of Yun Group of Co. Well, I guess the writer wants to stick with the rags to riches format of the story. Overall, it's short and sweet. Would have given a higher rating if it's done a full length series. I'd like to see more of the love triangle trope between the 2 heirs, sadly there's not much air time for the series. Gave this a 7.5

Interesting story plot though it's just a mini series. Good to see Chen yi Xin again from My Neighbor Can't Sleep. Downside of this drama aside from being short, definitely a slowburn and lacks skinship. Highest I can give is a 7.5

Looking forward to watch this. Love both leads😍 Happy to see Zhai Zi Lu finally on a lead role. Liked him already since Lucky's First Love drama. This is quite heavy drama though. Used to watching both of them on romcoms.

Just like everyone, this is definitely the best Xianxia drama for this year. Everything is spot on...from the cast, visual effects, ost, story plot, fast pace, costumes, no super irritating villain and most importantly, a beautiful love story. Am so a Zang LingHe fan, but Dylan Wang just captivated my heart in this round.
Like every drama, there's a bit of a flaw, which is the rushed ending. Who would not want to see DFQC and Orchid have that grand wedding and kids?!!!! And yeah, more lovey-dovey and skinships. So I am also one of the hopefuls for season 2 or special post drama episodes.
Overall, this drama is super highly recommended!

Love Xu Kai Xin too. 😍 You may check out the drama In Love with your Dimples. Xu Kai Xin is the ML there. First loved him in Lovely Swords Girl though he's just a supporting role there or should I say 3rd ML.

I didn't watch season 1 of this drama and decided to check this out due to its high ratings. Story is just okay for me. Not that much interesting. Lots of draggy parts, specifically on the first quarter of the drama. Not a fan of both leads. Didn't felt much chemistry between them. This is another SML syndrome for me. I was really looking forward for them to be together as I felt more chemistry between FL and SML. Btw, LYT's character is really despicable from the start. Just by looking at her I am already irritated. She really has that look that's quite irritating to look at. Definitely this drama has a potential. Great visual effects and swordsmanship skills presented. However, the romance is just lacking. As I see it, there were no happy endings on the couples involved in this drama. And for me, BGY should be the ML. He has the looks and charisma of being the ML. Anyways, highest I can give for this drama is a 7. I think this drama is kinda overrated. Not my cup of tea I guess.

Well, being black mailed for a poison antidote is not a valid excuse for me. People who have good hearts always have pure intentions. Expectedly, she will have a character development and will feel guilty towards the end. Besides, her mind is all about money and I don't like that.

Okay, the only drama so far that made me put on hold Xu Kai's on going drama. :D I wasn't really a Dylan Wang fan from Meteor Garden to A Rational life until I watched this drama. And my main reason for watching this is Zhang Ling He, but now find myself liking Dylan for portraying his role so well. This drama literally got me hooked from ep.1. Didn't touch the frwrd button either. Looking forward to the last remaining episodes. Hope they give the happy ending that we all want.
And yeah, I never liked Jeili from the start, So I feel sad for Shangque. He deserves a better woman than her. And this drama deserves a higher rating too. :)

Finally completed this drama after binge watching till 4am. Quite a progress on the story plot on part 2 compared to part 1. The highlight for me here was ep. 38. Where LBY was flogged as ordered by Emperor and CSS cried out loud to stop the flogging as part of LBY's scheme to prove CSS love for him. Definitely not a fan of the massacre part, though I love the part of the Cheng family invasion. Felt sad on the Empress last farewell before her passing. A very touching moment indeed. Also felt sad for Yuan Shen for his unrequitted love. Hope he was given at least a partner towards the end. Love also the Song QiQi couple, specially the part on the prison cell and of course, happy for their marriage and kids. Overall, superb acting by the entire cast specially the leads. The story plot was just okay for me. Not really a fan of it, as I still find the sweet moments of the leads too lacking, not too mention the skinship too. The kiss is not quite convincing for me either. Obviously, this was done too conservatively. The ending was just okay too, still I would prefer a wedding and having a kid too. I still like CSS character for being able to hold her ground on not to forgive LBY too easily. In reality, what LBY did for me is considered a red flag and not quite a husband material for someone who killed massively for the sake of revenge. And for the Emperor being biased and just gave LBY a light sentence for his crime is not an ideal decision for me. with such crime, usually it's also a death sentence. Well, for the sake of having a happy ending, things shoud turn out that way. Still, I'm a fan of the Emperor for his fun and cool side. I liked the character development of CSS mom towards the end, including her relationship with CSS Grandma and how a badass she was as well in the warfield. I'll be missing LBY's black armoured entourage wherever he goes. hehehe So, this drama is quite enjoyable despite that it is slowburn and as I mentioned too lacking of skinship.

Oh well,I have to be biased about this. Am so a Jeremy Tsui fan so it has to be Be My Princess. 😍 Story wise, this drama didn't focused much on the amnesia trope which I liked. In terms of chemistry by the leads it has to be Be my Princess.

Initially, I'm so hear for Zhang LingHe. Surprisingly I got hooked from ep. 1. Another great Xianxia drama! Awesome acting of course by Dylan Wang. Really made me laugh. :D And he's the evil one that you would really love. Kinda feel sad for LingHe's character since he's the SML. Still, happy to see him again in a drama. Looking forward for more laughs and hopefully, level up chemistry by our leads. And no more body switch if I may add. hehehe
