They said they were together for 3 years so it's very likely, seeing how Da Rim was happy in the relation, he gave up and got with his ex wife... who realized she'd never be number 1 but number 2 in his life and left.
He's been friendzoned to the moon. Honestly when Da Rim suggested they slept in the same bed, I truly felt for the guy. The guy wasn't stabbed, he was speared.
He probably thought she wouldn't find the time to go out with anybody given how much she struggled to find a proper job and hence thought he had all the time in the world to make her see him a different way.
Sadly for him she went to Jejudo, and now the poor dude is struggling to find a way to make her feel something other than friendship because time is running out.

Actually heard a similar story from a friend of mine years ago. One of his closest friend was in love with this girl since high school... Literally. Afraid of losing their friendship, he didn't say anything.
Time passes, they turn 35. Clock is ticking for the girl. She gets pregnant with a random dude. She doesn't particularly like him and was planning to break up, but once she knew she was pregnant, they decided to make it work out.
Dude wasted 20 years by fear of losing her which led to... losing her. At least he could have had a chance if he gave it a shot... and moved on if she rejected him... Now he's only going to live with the "What if".
Have no news of the friend who told me his story though so I don't know how things have turned out 7 years later. Her couple could have worked or not. She might still be with the father or her child or separated and with the 20 years pinning dude who knows... But there's a kid in the middle who didn't ask for the rushed wedding so as sad as it is for pining dude, I hope they managed to build a solid family in spite of their shaky beginnings.
So if you have feelings for someone, do like the SFL and go for it. She irritates the hell out of me since she's already been rejected BUT since the SML hasn't said anything to the FL, I totally get where she's coming from.
Though personally I have too much self-esteem to pursue a guy that has feelings for somebody else but to each one their own.

Per K drama rules, the truth can't be revealed before the middle mark. Wait until at least end of episode 7, but my guess is, it's probably gonna be at the end of episode 8 in order to torture viewers with one week of waiting agony.

I'm currently at episode 28 and find her way less irritating now. The issue for me was more the fact that she was silly and lying which ultimately did more harm than good to others around her.
Her not being book smart is not really the issue, her being a nuisance to others because she wants to play in the same field was the biggest problem.
This being said, once she gives up the idea of competing with her sister and just becomes her own person, she's much more endearing.

Nah as I wrote, I've yet to watch the show. Apart from Study Group this year, I've been mostly disappointed by most 2025 K dramas I watched. There was a couple that I found OKish, but nothing exceptional apart from Study Group.
I've been in a K drama slump for months and it's my theory that there's a 2025 Kdrama curse, at least for me, so I initially decided I was going to watch any 2025 K drama in 2026 to be sure these dramas turned out to be good... Because if I watched them now, they'd probably suck.
Dynamite Kiss is the exception to the rule... I saw the long spoiler-filled trailer and I just couldn't resist. Doesn't break my curse theory though... I just think this one is an exception (so far) to the rule. 😂

The drama with Suzy was also a joke. I personally haven't seen the drama yet... But I checked the first reviews and comments that came out. Back then, the first review that was posted and considered "relevant" was posted by some person who couldn't humanly have watched all episodes when they posted their review ( I think it was less than 5 or 6 hours after it was made available on Netflix)... But the thing is, they claimed they had. After a couple of back and forth with other members, they admitted they had only seen one episode but that it was enough to post their opinion ( while lying about watching 13 episodes but I disgress).
Then you had the comments of people who watched the whole thing at 2x speed... which to me is also completely useless since you're not watching it as it was intended to be watched... And to be honest I really wonder what is the point in watching that way. We're already asked to be fast and effective at work, can't you just relax and enjoy things at a more leisurely pace in your free time?
And then of course, there was the whole religion polemics born out of thin air. This one I don't even want to talk about, seeing how stupid it was...
If anything it made me want to watch it more since you obviously couldn't rely on comments and reviews back then ( haven't revisited the thread since).
