I don't think so she is on the wheel chair. She just sat and looking at snow. I think on the time Sunjae came…
Don't think so. He put a necklace on her in the 30s preview and he has to crouched down to do it. There's 4 episodes left. I know they're doing it on purpose to keep us on our toes but I'm hating them right now.
Everyone calm down. There is a BTS of superstar sunjae sending food truck to his director gf. Then there is a…
I don't think so. Sol says " Maybe we should never have met in the first place".
The wheelchair is back and I'm just going to cry in my little corner... I'm trusting the scriptwriter to save both of them and her legs... But right now, I'm just saaaaaaaaaaad.
Okay 16s preview. Sol is a back in a wheelchair. Just kill me now...
Thankfully, I had told myself she was probably going to die so it's less worse... Than... Of fudge it. The 30s preview doesn't help either.
I KNEW IT! Episode 11 was just too good! I knew about episode the 12 curse. It never fails. K dramas always make sure you're in mesery for 3 episodes after episode 12.
I don't care! Make Sol and Seon Jae meet in the future, Seon Jae go back to the past and save her freaking legs!!!
I think they may get it after its fully aired. But then again, they didnt add Marry My Husband despite being popular…
Your friend is not really into K dramas is she? Otherwise she would definitely have purchased a Viki or Viu subscription depending on her zone... I understand. I have no friends who is into K dramas. Been like that for years. They always talk about American shows with I don't know how many seasons - which is why I avoid them like the plague, on top of oversexualization, too much violence etc. though I do watch some from time to time but very veryyyyyyyyyyyyy rarely. The worse thing, I just know they would love K dramas if they gave it a try but they just won't.

Marry My Husband is on Prime. It's obvious the rights are gonna belong to Amazon for a long while before it gets to other platforms.
Rights for dramas in Europe and US have to follow certain rules. Basically the first platform that gets the rights hold the exclusive rights for at least one to 2 years. Now that Netflix hasn't purchased the show... It's their loss. They probably won't be able to get the rights before a couple of years. It was the case for True Beauty. When it came out in 2019, it was available on Viki but not Netflix... From what I remember True Beauty finally came to Netflix only in 2021 or 2022. It became one of the popular shows there once it was available... But I was laughing my a** off seeing we have had that show way before them.
As for me I'm sticking to Viki. Way less expensive. The main issue for Netflix, is you pay the price of all these American shows you're never going to watch. If you're patient enough, most K dramas - apart from their exclusive content - are going to be available on Viki at some point, so no need to empty your pockets with a yearly subscription of over 200€ when Viki has a yearly subscription of less than 60€.
I think it is the same, he just want to do something else, he likes movie and music according to 34 Sol.
I actually think we're back to square one regarding Seon Jae's career。 In the first timeline, before the time slip, he never sang for Sol to get a phone. In the second time slip, he's been interacting with Sol and ended up singing to get her a new phone. That's probably when In Hyuk decided to include him in the group and do the super K audition with him.
Sol never knew that Seon Jae sang in the Super K audition, which means, it's very likely he never did in the first timeline (otherwise she WOULD have know since she was a huge fan). He probably became a singer after he sang for Eclipse's supposed last concert in the first time line before the time slip. Another proof of that, is that, in the last scene of ep 11, when Seon Jae is singing Rain Shower we see Seon Jae's future manager in the first time line in the room.
I'm dreading a bit this part, because it hints at Seon Jae becoming a singer... but under his management... and we know how that went down. He might have been killed but it doesn't change the fact that he was depressed in the first time line. I think most of the problem he had with his group came from the fact that his manager was always seeing him as the main star of the group instead of giving equal consideration to all members. In Hyuk and his buddies were always very dedicated to their music and Seon Jae was added to it... He loved it, but his manager had other plans for him and he just followed... which seems to be a pattern with Seon Jae. He does what others expect of him... the only time he did something for himself is when it concerns Sol.
On a side note, "Rain Shower" - 소나기 on naver is literally translated as "shower" but according to the Korean definition a better translation for me would be "rain pour" or "Averse" in French [which I think fits the Korean word perfectly]. 소나기 refers to a sudden, violent and short lived rainfall that often happens in summer with thunder and wind.
But I guess "Rain Shower" has a better ring to it than "Rain Pour" so here you go.
Viky translations are always my favorite because they are made by fans. They have more freedom so they usually…
So true!!! I also really like the cultural explanations that are there when needed. I think it's also a matter of speed. Good translations do take time. I'm learning 4 languages in my free time and often I understand the general idea but not necessarily the exact translation and I have to watch the same scene several times to properly hear which words were said.. I'm guessing that must be the case for some websites translations... They don't bother with the details as long as a translation is out as fast as possible.
So I checked the translation TVING compared to the one on Viki... There's one particular scene in which the mom is making of Seon Jae and his girlfriend and then grandma says that when they were younger, Sol's father and her mom literally had their lips glued together... ( according to TVING translation)
It's really funny.
I'm definitely going to check the words used later but Viki translated that Sol's Mom's lips were like octopus's tentacles. I was laughing my ass off and it makes this scene so much more funny.
Checked another scene... and my God yes... This episode was pure comedic gold... But Viki's translation are so much better, it's even more funny :D
Yes... Viki's releases are always later... but it's so worth the wait :D
After this ep 12 I think SJ will still debut with Eclipse, but 2023 we can see that Eclipse only has 3 members,…
It's already discussed previously, but it's very likely the future is changing at the same time as the past is changing. Therefore what you see of the future corresponds to how the past is at the present time. Until Sol goes back to 2023, the future is not yet set.
Most people are pretty careful to use spoiler tags but yeah... can't avoid the unruly ones. Used to remind people to put a spoiler tag, but it's a loosing battle so I gave up.
Have only seen the three scenes on tvN and the preview... Gotta be reaaaaaaaal patient for episode 11 because I lurked here the whole day... So work's not done and will probably have to work when it's uploaded on Viki >_< At least my korean is good enough to have been able to understand everything... The third scene is golden. Got me in stitches.
Anyway at least this episode seems extremely sweet and funny so I'm ready for the heartbreak tomorrow. At least my wait will be shorter... If I manage to resist and not watch this episode at 1 am.

One week of agony. One FUDGING WEEK!
EDIT: Okay scratch that, the 16s one just popped up as I was typing "enter" to comment.

Probably removed them because it didn't fit in the screen.

You all have short memory loss...
Remember Episode 8?
I like to know that we're all wallowing in the same misery。
Don't forget to check the spoiler box.
