Tagged "Full Nudity"? We don't have the same definition of "Full Nudity". Full means full. You don't see the front here. I'm not asking for it to be shown but a butt hardly qualifies as full nudity in my book. Should be tagged "Full back view" or something along those lines. I understand it's to warn people who are sensitive but come on' this is the "sultrier version"... If people can't handle a butt, they're going to watch the censored version not come here.
From where I come from, there's absolutely nothing extraordinary or shocking about seeing a butt onscreen. We're not that sensitive about nudity as a whole. Sex however isn't tagged when it's actually pretty "graphic not graphic" in a way... in the first episode at least (haven't seen the second one yet).
Letting yall know that this isn't the main page.MDL has created two pages and everyone else is in the other.
I know (really annoying because I sometimes make mistakes and post on the wrong page). But I personally don't understand why everybody is on the "Cut page" every single time when in fact everybody watches the uncensored version. So unless there's only one page available on MDL, I'm personally sticking to only list uncensored versions and only engage on their respective pages. Added bonus: lots of arguments on the main page usually. Way less on less frequented threads.
So... Hidamari ga Kikoeru is one the MANY mangas I've been buying the volumes for YEARS ( in fact as soon as it got licensed in my home country) but which I never bothered to read a single volume. Yeah, when I used to have more money I did that a lot... Reading a summary and then buying a whole series... Anyway, the manga is still currently being published. I just knew it was about an ear impaired person. I was not aware this movie existed until it popped up on Viki probably anticipated the tv series currently airing. So I thought, it was a good occasion to see what the story was about.
And overall... Well let's just say I though the acting was so-so and the story felt a bit meh? It's not that I think it's a bad story per say... but rather that a 72 minutes movie for that genre is a bit too short to really like and feel engaged with all characters. It was a cute movie though... Final ratings 7.5... But I'll be checking out the series once all episodes have aired... Probably gonna be way better since they'll have more time.
Side Note: Taichi doesn't have a voice that carries far... He just yells all the time. Really irritating. People who really have a voice that carry sound loud even when not making an effort, it doesn't sound like they're yelling. But again, that was one of the actor's first movie so I guess it's down to poor acting on his part.
Err... I googled "girmies" and I didn't get any translation... For the rest of the sentence I'm guessing you wanted…
Ah yeah makes more sense. I tend to forget that young generations tend to do everything with their smartphones... I'm team Desktop computer for life. A separate keyboard is way easier to use 😎
Has anyone else read the comments on the original/cut version, because wow, the girlies are aruging and gettkng…
Err... I googled "girmies" and I didn't get any translation... For the rest of the sentence I'm guessing you wanted to write or intended to mean "arguing and getting knocked down"... Lots of us have English as a second or even third language so some of the internet slang just go over our head....
How are they even buying this bullshit?! Every indication from the stone points to Wee. I'm pretty sure the stone…
I'm also an idiot then... However for Third... For me it's a typical drama thing... They crossed path but she didn't look at him.
For me, the fact that she knows exactly what happened is a clear indicator she's lying... In that case, everybody should remember their past lives and Third should also have some memory...
HOWEVER... It's pretty normal for San to be blinded by the fake Wad. 1. She's a woman 2. She is a carbon copy of his first love. Even if things are suspicious these two facts probably made him lower his defenses。
yeah i definitely understand it, i gave this show a 10 because i got emotionally attached to it at some point.…
Yeah, I totally get it. There are times when I want to watch these type of shows myself but I realized that I do need a bit of "stress" in order to enjoy these shows... but this one is too "conflictless" for me. Also this drama was so hyped when it aired that I was expecting more from the story... But again I had the same issue with Descended from the Sun and Crash Landing on You... Both extremely popular on MDL but very boring to me... which is why I managed to drop it before I invested too much time in it ( mind you 6 episodes is a lot), since I've been burned before.
So anyway, I understand that it might be a good comfort show if you like the genre... but personally if there's not more meat to the story, I like my comfort shows to be shorter.
Dragging my feet to the finish line just for the sake of completing this... and I loved this show so much at the beginning >_< but I've seen the pattern of the last 6 episodes so many times that it just bores me out of my mind now...
On a positive note though, at least the stupid needless separation only lasted 40 minutes.
That's probably it. Or, sometime people just look like other people from the past, but it's not actually them.…
True but in that case how come this Wat not only has a link with the original Wat's family and has the same face? Unless it's Vee who is linked to Wat's original family and she just happens to have the same face... Need to watch the episode before reaching a definitive conclusion but that's where my brain's heading at the moment.
I spoiled myself the preview on One 31's channel and... The new Wat is a fraud? Could it be she did some plastic surgery to look like the original Wat? I mean that's the only logical explanation I can come up with...
Watch only if you have a REALLY SWEET tooth and love both leads... Personally even Jun Ho's abs and overflowing money couldn't keep me. I love romance but there needs to be a bit more story and this is just pure fluff from start to finish.... I "flipped" through episode 7 to 16 just to see if it was picking up some steam but nope. Nothing new under the sun, there's chemistry for sure but personally I'm not a huge fan of cavities. If it's too sweet it just makes me boooooooooooored to death.
worth pointing out that in the show the brother is seen taking them away from him each time and lecturing him…
Yeah but requoting myself here: "Sure Korn says he doesn't like to see Great smoke because it's not good, but it's just a camouflé in order to say "Look! We didn't say it was good. We're not promoting anything" when it is literally what they are doing. "
I think it's worth noting that the actors are not actually smoking real cigarettes during filming. Regulations…
Can't do though. It's the responsibility of the State to take measures against this type of things but unfortunately, they tend to react only when the damage is done.
I think it's worth noting that the actors are not actually smoking real cigarettes during filming. Regulations…
Is it really the case in Thailand though? If so ( which I doubt to be honest) good for the actors but still. As for the influence of such scenes, it works, they know it, they've been using it and it's well documented. Read a book written by one of the first whistleblower 20 years ago which title I forgot, in which he said they were already starting to apply the strategies in emerging country because the Western market was saturated... and look what's happenning。 Sure Korn says he doesn't like to see Great smoke because it's not good, but it's just a camouflé in order to say "Look! We didn't say it was good. We're not promoting anything" when it is litterally what they are doing. Korn is smoking, his boyfriend is smoking, everybody is smoking.
... So So far so very good... BUT I'm tired of the smoking PPL in Thailand. The smoking industry has been loosing customers in Western countries so now they're applying the same strategy they previously did there in emerging countries and it's VERY obvious in Thai series especially in BLs which are watched by young people... Even if you don't see any brands, it's important to show popular, good looking actors destroying their lungs smoking their poison they're now struggling to sale in Europe and North America because these countries don't yet have the same laws protecting their citizens and particularly their youth.
As usual, they're selling an image and an idea to vulnerable minds... and don't get me started on all those scenes where they're smoking indoors. I know to have money to produce, you do need sponsors... but I wish Viu and Be On Cloud got their money elsewhere. After all they obviously got some Durex PPL which was on point - promotion for safe sex + money, it's a win-win, something South Korea should do by the way, there's never a single condom even when it's suggested characters has a "hot night" so in that regard Thailand is way better... BUT THE SMOKING.
Every time I feel for the actors who have to put their lungs in jeopardy just so the production company can get money from Malboro and the likes for their nefarious agenda. They're doing the same shit on the African continent and it just infuriates me. JUST NO.
So that was my rant. This first episode was gorgeous but I can't help thinking of where the money came from.
His personality would improve later. He trusted people easily and always treated them kindly. He thought that…
I'm going to forget the spoiler you put in your comment which I didn't know about >_< My main issue is more that it's ok to be naive... But there's a difference between being naive and being stupid... And I don't think some of his "mistakes" ( I'm putting "" because at some point I can hardly excuse some actions as mistakes since he's looking voluntarily for trouble) can only be excused by his naivety but more by the scenarist's ( or novelist if it's originally in the novel) laziness. I don't dislike the show, I think it's different from what China usually has to offer and just for that it deserves to be watched... But my God do I find him frustrating.
Yeah... Episode 14 confirmed it... My Sweet Mobster has unfortunately been contaminated by the usual dragging syndrome of many a K-drama romance confirming once again that most if not all romance focused k dramas should stick to a 12 episodes length. Not all but most. Had to cut the episode in 3 parts to finish this... Dissapointing preview but not unexpected...So current rating 8... But I'll probably lower it down to 7.5 due to the pacing issue which utterly ruined everything... What I found cute and funny, I found now pretty annoying because it's obvious they're dragging it since all conflicts are resolved so we get the usual useless drama of the last 4 episodes because they have nothing else to tell so we're stuck with the evil father we don't care about.
Glad I watched this as it aired because otherwise I'd probably have dropped this last week.
Whether these allegations were true or not... He didn't kill anybody... Nobody deserves a life sentence for something they did in middle school. I was a victim of bullying myself and I honestly haven't forgotten nor forgave what happened in middle school, they never apologized and given some of the behaviors I encountered from people I didn't know in high school and even as a young adult, it's pretty obvious that even though we weren't in the same class in high school, they still spread false rumors about me to their new friends in order to justify their behavior... I'm never going to get an apology from these people...nor do I care for it. If I ever meet them again, I won't act like nothing happened。
But it's been years, and I don't think they deserve to have their lives ruined for mistakes they did when they were young. I watched a video once of former bullies who were talking about their behavior now that they were in their 20s and most were regretful and had a hard time talking about what they did. Sure doesn't make you look good especially since they faced no consequences.
I wish people watched " A Silent Voice" such a beautiful story about bullying and the power of forgiveness as a whole.
He's been bashed publicly enough. From bully he ended turning into a victim himself. It's time people let go and he made a come back. I doubt this will ever happen... It's South Korea. He didn't commit suicide at least. He held up in spite of everything so I wish him the best.
Really loved him since Angry Mom though I dropped the drama at the time... Miracles happen so I'll be cheering him on.
[EDIT] Btw, this post still stands BUT I read later, don't remember when that, he was cleared of all charges.

Definitely not for everyone.
