It's really funny. Gives me a huge smile but the host can't hide how much she's shipping them. They're both so embarrassed they end up laughing out of nervousness ^^

Hmm... I personally don't see the point of fleshing out the serial killer's backstory... unless it was a thriller. Personally, it really doesn't bother me since the only thing that's important for us viewers is that he's hindering our mains' relationships... but he's got no other deeper connection such as I don't know he killed Seon Jae's father or something of the sort. As for the rest of the points you made...

I get what you're saying... But I think here it's more a matter of taste or maybe you aren't in the right mood to watch the rest of the series?
I understand your point of view but apart from the Dad's bathroom scene, none of the scenes you felt were overly long felt long to me :D Also lots of people have complaining about the brother's storyline, but I find his scenes hilarious.

This is one of this case where I think your argument makes perfect sense... But we could argue on the contrary, and it would also make sense if you see what I mean :D

It's Ji Sung. I'd watch him in anything :D The very first k-drama I've ever watched was Save the Last Dance for Me in which he was the lead but I truly became a fan after Defendant a couple of years later.
Only reason I haven't watched all of his drama is lack of time :D

And Extraordinary You is one of my ultimate favorite k-drama so I'm glad it brought you back to K -Drama watching. There are good years and bad years in dramaland, but 2024 has been terrific so far ^^
Particularly for tvN. They had Marry My Husband, Queen of Tears and Lovely Runners... I'm sure they must be reaaaaaaalllllllly happy.

Yeah... Main issue is that I'm self-employed and working from home so keeping my discipline has been a struggle for the past two months... I failed terribly. So I've got to admit I'm mostly relieved it's ending because unfortunatly, I do need to put food on my table ;)
This being said, I've pretty relaxed for today and tomorrow. I decided to completely give up on being productive in any way. I'll do what I can, but I'm not going to fight against the impulse of Lovery Runnering the whole day on youtube or MDL. It's impossible.

But no watching on-air dramas for a while after this one. I'm not taking risks anymore though I doubt any drama is going to top this one this year.

Secret Royal Inspector looked a bit too goofy for me... But yeah it's still on my mental To Be Watched List... along with Sky Castle... Too many dramas to watch... Too little time... And instead of working I'm spending time watching Lovely Runner reactions... I mean if I'm not working... I should at list be "productive" and watch other dramas right? But nope. Stuck here obsessing over SeonSol.

I haven't watched Snowdrop ... But it came later than Extraordinary You. I had my doubt regarding the lead actress so I didn't bother. They were plenty of very experienced actresses that could have landed the role particularly with Jung Hae In as the lead... But jTBC bet on K Pop's popularity with this singer to get views...
Very bad bet in my opinion. It's not because you're into K Dramas that you necessarily listen to K Pop. Sure, there are plenty of idols who have successfully made the switch from singer to actor or done both but like my boy Lee Seung Hyub here, they did support roles until they got enough experience to carry a whole show. Kim Ji Soo basically did a couple of guest appearances and then got a main role... when my girl Hye Yoon, given her age, could have done it and had already a leading role under her belt.
I thought it was really unfair to all the very experienced actors so I didn't bother. Maybe she did a good job I don't know... I haven't even bothered to read comments or reviews regarding Snowdrop.

Same!!! I tend to avoid ongoing dramas because lots of them turn out disappointing in the end. So I'd rather wait for a general consensus to come out before investing any time on a drama.

The only reason I checked that one out was because Hye Yoon had a leading role and I've loved her since Extraordinary You. I didn't know anything about the drama, I just wanted to see her.
I just thought, I was going to check the first episode and if it was good, I'd put it on my mental "To be Watched" list.

But then I loved the first episode so much, I just thought... Ok. I'm just going to check the second episode tomorrow... And that's it. After that, I'll eventually binge the rest once it has ended.

But then they managed to make episode 2 even better and after the twist at the end... I was a gonner. I endured 8 weeks of weekly torture... but it was soooooooooo worth it!!! But also very draining.

I've got lots of mixed feelings: sad that it's ending, but glad we're going to get a conclusion, but sad it's ending...but happy for their happy ending ( BECAUSE IT'S A HAPPY ENDING, which the most important thing), but sad that we're parting with these characters who made me so happy for two months, but also glad to finally get rid of this obsession I've had with this show for so many weeks.
Just... I need the DVDs and the director's cut. I hope they make it available for international fans.

I do that too!!! I've been watching English reactions but also Korean reactions and reading comments. I really can't believe myself!
