Ah ok... I was just about to ask the same question.
I get people's political opinion but people have to remember that it's not because you have a certain nationality that you also condone the politics of your country. These are two separate things. the original writer could support the current genocide occurring in Palestine but they could also be in opposition to it. Who knows? If the people who rate this show 1 have proofs that the original writer support genocide, they should share it and let people decide if they want to support the show or not.

Yeah the struggle is real... Some people are good at fast forwarding but I personally can't. My personal rule is usually to wait until I've finished a third of a series to drop it (except for C dramas because they're way too long). So per this rule, I should have dropped this at the end of episode 3. Unfortunately, sometimes I do insist, and regret wasting my time. As I commented somewhere else, Life is too short to watch every single show you'd love so you shouldn't bother with shows that you don't enjoy.

Obviously I'm saying this and still when a majority of people love it, I tend to persist which is truly stupid. Most people who didn't like this show dropped it by the end of episode 2 or 3 and the only people left commenting are people who enjoyed it. So I kept on watching hoping it would get better.

Not dropping shows is a sickness.... but sometimes it's good to have dramas like this. It's a well-needed "no dropping sickness vaccine booster" when the first dose is starting to lose its efficiency。

My God this show was terrible. Should have trusted my instinct instead of waiting stupidly that it would get better following people's comments regarding the novel. What didn't help was that it aired at the same time as Sunset X Vibes and that one was even worse so this looked like it would be at least watchable in comparison.

Though I still think that person's being too nice given the show was terrible from the start. Peat's acting is still awful though the poor dude's was not helped by the script. What's the use of chemistry and good NC scenes (only in the beginning because they probably thought it would be enough to keep people watching) if you can't deliver on the most important thing which is err... acting? No hate to the actor but so far he still can't act any heavy emotional scene, it's just cringe as hell. Isn't his agency supposed to get him acting classes? It's not like acting was particularly good from any of these actors but Peat's stood out as particularly bad. Anyway, I'm starting to think I actually mildly enjoyed Tharntype because it was one of my first Thai BL and thoroughly liked Love is in the Air because they were smart enough to make two short separate stories so MAME's flaws weren't as apparent.
This drama was too long for what it had to offer... but would probably have been good as a movie.

Should have trusted my instinct and dropped this earlier.

Side note 1: That tattoo looked too fake. No effort on the make-up department... but again. Same as this drama.

Side note 2: You're free to voice your love for the show, just like I am to voice my dislike. We can respect our diverging opinions without insulting each other.

Ok That's a wrap with a happy ending...
But I love how all the dead bodies at the beginning of episode 10 were just swept under the rug.
Literally the rich dude in the wheelchair died along with a couple of thugs and there's no consequences for our leads.. when the theater from I understand belongs to San's family. Where the hell is the police? Did these bodies vanish into thin air? Also, Rat's brother also got killed and yes, he was an asshole... But still nobody gives a fudge. NO-BO-DY when San was adamant not to shoot him in the first place... You would expect at least Chong who is Suchat and Rat's FATHER to shed a tear for his SON but nope! That's so out of character that it took me a bit out of it for a while.

I mean , we obviously don't care, but how come the rest of the family didn't even give him a proper send off?

Still loved the series. It's a strong 8.5 from me, though it had its flaws.

Yeah I know ^^ That comment was posted seven months ago. I've watched both In the Sky Drama and Movie since.

All of SAMON's book are available on the MEB app but I've looked and this novel isn't featured... ( btw Triage and Manner of Death are both available in English) I don't think there's a novel for 4 Minutes. SAMMON is written here as a screenwriter only just like for DFF.

I stuck around but haven't seen this episode yet... But if a 10 episode series need episode 9 to be likeable I'm sorry but it's too little too late. 8 episode of meh is not gonna make me rate this show better. It stuck to the meh level it had at the beginning. It's not the worst BL I've seen but it's definitely not what I would consider good. I know I'm among the minority expressing myself here since given the whole argument with people saying their piece, most people who didn't particularly enjoy that show either dropped it or fled the comment section, but so be it.

Thanks for the spoiler... I was about to start this series... BUT I'm going to wait to see if they change the ending. ALSO I second "TF"

AH yeah. I forgot that Thai people have unique names so it's very unlikely people who have the same name aren't related... But he does look like he's genuinely attracted to him? Or maybe it's my wishful thinking.

Looking like it's gonna be a huge mess:

1. Great is definitely going to be blamed for Tonkla's little brother's death.

2. Seems that Korn is also going to get blamed or at least linked to the murder of whoever hired the hacker... which I'm guessing is also Tonkla's little brother.

3. In any case, Tonkla and Korn's relationship is doomed... but I don't mind because Korn sucks... which seems to be a common trait in that family since Great only acts like a proper human being because he can see the consequences of his asshole behavior 4 minutes ahead.

4. Tonkla... Get with that pretty police officer. I don't find him as attractive as Korn but at least he seems to be a proper human being on the right side of the law.

5. It was cute to see Thyme doing his damnedest to get into Great's radar... but I am also 99% sure that the silhouette we saw at the end of episode 2 was his... Hence he hired the hacker or is the person who hired the person who hired the hacker?

6. Final theory. Thyme hired the hacker because he knows that his own parent's deaths is linked to this illegal casino... which would mean that Great's father is somewhat responsible for Thyme's parents' death and obviously Thyme doesn't know who Great's father is so... prepare your tissues.

7. SO... I might be overeaching with all my theories but given how intricately woven this parallel stories are, I wouldn't be surprised if some of my theories turned out to be true.

8. Isn't Title, the shittiest friend ever? You can tell what kind of person is Great by the people he associates with. He's old enough to know better. I wouldn't even spend a single minute with a guy who admitted laughing he just sequestrated his girlfriend let alone go with him in the middle of the night to some unknown places... And he apologized for what happened when he literally saw that guy killing Dome. I mean Great? If you are still friends with that type of shitty human being instead of distancing yourself... you deserve what's coming for you.

I'm hoping you get better as the story progresses because so far Thyme deserves better. He might seem cold and aloof but he's got his heart in the right place.


Final thought: I regret not having waited more before starting this show... but I knew it was going to be tough. I waited 4 days after the first episode aired but now I'm definitely completely doomed. Also... I wish for a happy ending but my God.... it looks very bleak so I'm trying to prepare my heart the best I can.

Tagged "Full Nudity"?
We don't have the same definition of "Full Nudity". Full means full. You don't see the front here. I'm not asking for it to be shown but a butt hardly qualifies as full nudity in my book. Should be tagged "Full back view" or something along those lines. I understand it's to warn people who are sensitive but come on' this is the "sultrier version"... If people can't handle a butt, they're going to watch the censored version not come here.

From where I come from, there's absolutely nothing extraordinary or shocking about seeing a butt onscreen. We're not that sensitive about nudity as a whole. Sex however isn't tagged when it's actually pretty "graphic not graphic" in a way... in the first episode at least (haven't seen the second one yet).

I know (really annoying because I sometimes make mistakes and post on the wrong page). But I personally don't understand why everybody is on the "Cut page" every single time when in fact everybody watches the uncensored version. So unless there's only one page available on MDL, I'm personally sticking to only list uncensored versions and only engage on their respective pages. Added bonus: lots of arguments on the main page usually. Way less on less frequented threads.

So... Hidamari ga Kikoeru is one the MANY mangas I've been buying the volumes for YEARS ( in fact as soon as it got licensed in my home country) but which I never bothered to read a single volume.
Yeah, when I used to have more money I did that a lot... Reading a summary and then buying a whole series... Anyway, the manga is still currently being published. I just knew it was about an ear impaired person. I was not aware this movie existed until it popped up on Viki probably anticipated the tv series currently airing. So I thought, it was a good occasion to see what the story was about.

And overall... Well let's just say I though the acting was so-so and the story felt a bit meh? It's not that I think it's a bad story per say... but rather that a 72 minutes movie for that genre is a bit too short to really like and feel engaged with all characters.
It was a cute movie though... Final ratings 7.5... But I'll be checking out the series once all episodes have aired... Probably gonna be way better since they'll have more time.

Side Note: Taichi doesn't have a voice that carries far... He just yells all the time. Really irritating. People who really have a voice that carry sound loud even when not making an effort, it doesn't sound like they're yelling. But again, that was one of the actor's first movie so I guess it's down to poor acting on his part.

Ah yeah makes more sense. I tend to forget that young generations tend to do everything with their smartphones... I'm team Desktop computer for life. A separate keyboard is way easier to use 😎

For me, the fact that she knows exactly what happened is a clear indicator she's lying... In that case, everybody should remember their past lives and Third should also have some memory...

HOWEVER... It's pretty normal for San to be blinded by the fake Wad. 1. She's a woman 2. She is a carbon copy of his first love.
Even if things are suspicious these two facts probably made him lower his defenses。

Yeah, I totally get it. There are times when I want to watch these type of shows myself but I realized that I do need a bit of "stress" in order to enjoy these shows... but this one is too "conflictless" for me. Also this drama was so hyped when it aired that I was expecting more from the story... But again I had the same issue with Descended from the Sun and Crash Landing on You... Both extremely popular on MDL but very boring to me... which is why I managed to drop it before I invested too much time in it ( mind you 6 episodes is a lot), since I've been burned before.

So anyway, I understand that it might be a good comfort show if you like the genre... but personally if there's not more meat to the story, I like my comfort shows to be shorter.

Dragging my feet to the finish line just for the sake of completing this... and I loved this show so much at the beginning >_< but I've seen the pattern of the last 6 episodes so many times that it just bores me out of my mind now...

True but in that case how come this Wat not only has a link with the original Wat's family and has the same face? Unless it's Vee who is linked to Wat's original family and she just happens to have the same face... Need to watch the episode before reaching a definitive conclusion but that's where my brain's heading at the moment.
