Aww Come on' They're bound to come back! I remember when it aired that all three main actors said they'd definitely come back if a sequel was ever written. Signal 2 is still in the process of being written, no filming schedule is yet available so of course we don't hear lots of news about Kim Hye Soo and Jo Jin Woong. They're both less active than Lee Je Hoon and hence are less visible in the media but you can be sure they're definitely going to be there.
Haven't seen the last episode yet but I spoiled myself the preview of next week via One 31's channel and... I hate that twist! But I like it! It's a good twist! But I hate it!
Hmmm... Enjoying the show so far but currently on episode 9 (of Viki count so episode 18 based on the original broadcast) and I spoiled myself the end of episode 10 and as expected.... the object was left behind (you know what I'm talking about).
I don't know what is the meaning of this nor what the consequences are going to be... But from the beginning of that arc regarding the 5th door... I knew this is where we were going, because Jiu Shi is an idiot who doesn't take care of what is given to him. You would expect the dude to be careful since they're all literally risking their lives each time they cross a door but nope. He doesn't mind showing and giving something precious to an unknown girl who's been very suspicious since the first time he met her. If you realize you brought a precious object on you by mistake the first thing a normal person would do is hide said object in your pocket but NO, this BRAINLESS IDIOT is holding said object in his hand for everyone to see! I kept on checking whether he'd take the object back but that never happened。 I can't believe this amount of stupidity especially from a guy whose job is to design games.
It really makes me roll my eyes big time. I really have to switch my brain off and hope this is the last time this is happening because unfortunately, it's happened already a few times since I started this series... and mostly because Jiu Shi's naivety ( or stupidity depending on how you see it... I'm leaning more on him being brainless but that's another story).
Episode 13 was just and OK episode for me... Seems I'm part of the minority but I'm definitely feeling this series's been losing some steam since last week. Still a good show... but nowhere near what it was for its first 10 episodes... Also somebody mentioned last week if I'm not mistaken that they were tired of the childhood trope in K drama... Well personally I don't mind that trope but I do feel tired about it in this drama... 13 episodes for the grand reveal is way long overdue and I find the reason why Ji Hwan hid the truth utterly stupid. Hence the whole reunion scene fell flat. It was about time but it's too little too late. By dragging it that much I lost interest.
I don't care about the 2nd ship and I'm also not sold regarding the third ship with the Sausage-girl and flex-employee... I wish we spent a bit more time with the fourth ship, namely the prosecutor and his cute-assistant who secretly has a crush on him. They tried to tone down her cuteness with a pair of glasses but it's not working for me, you can see it miles away. Mr. Prosecutor, you might be good at investigating but you suck in your love life if you never noticed this poor soul who's literally wasting her social life just to be with you on the weekends.
I think it's very common to blame the driver/rider when a group of friends have an accident.
I know. It's just that it's supposed to pull at our heartstrings but the brother is so unreasonable that it just doesn't work. It would have been better if Dong Hee had truly been responsible for what happened but the way I see it, the only reason why he's the one being spit on is because he came out alive when both he and his passenger were at fault. Safety mesures are here for a reason and should be followed. They were both careless, yet the family is still blaming him. I wouldn't have said anything if the girl's death was still fresh, but it's been a couple of years, at some point, family members also need to reflect and accept that accidents happen but that it is unfair to blame it all on a young kid.
Hmm... Exactly how is an accident supposed to be taken as a murder? I want to empathize with the brother but the backstory doesn't help his case. The girl died stupidly because she didn't properly wear her helmet. At the end of the day, Dong Hee should have looked at the road... but the dead girl is also partly responsible. We're off to a bad start for this episode... It's not hitting the right emotional notes for me.

I'm personally flabbergasted by the number of people on MDL who are just homophobes sometimes disguising themselves as you wrote as "open minded". One day I was reading a comment by another MDL member which I found interesting. I checked their profile.... There was nothing in the description except for the fact that this member was from Turkey. I was surprised that on their "Recently watched" list there were of couple of thai BL. Knowing how homophobic the country is and just by sheer curiosity I went to check how much they had rated the BLs in question...
Turns out, that they has listed over 150 BLs all from Thailand... and all rated 1. There were a couple from Taiwan as well also rated 1, and a few K BLs also rated 1. They had listed over 500 shows but all the BLs were rated 1.
I obviously didn't bother to ask if they had really watched the BLs in question. What is exactly the point I wonder? But again... who am I to say. Maybe they think this will have an effect on the ratings of this series? All that hate wasted on such a stupid task makes me wonder if that person really has any brain cells left in that hateful head of theirs. Also you can be a homophobe and not indulge in such a stupid and vain endeavor. As you wrote they should just "live in their narrow, rigid bubble". I personally like the open air so I won't bother trying to interact nor convince these poor individuals unless they're family and I have a gay relative that needs some help. Bought the webtoon because everybody was raving about it... Too many volumes bought later I finally found the time to try to read it... WTF did I buy? Still 4 volumes left until I've completed the series so I keep on buying. Maybe I could sell them at a very good price in a couple of years. This whole series is sick. I'm all for "problematic stories" but I think Kinnporsche was my limit... This one is on whoooooooooooole other level of fuckery. If they ever adapt this... which I doubt. They're gonna vanilla it so much it will look like some other story.

Not liking the show... but not hating it either. It's gonna remain in the "meh category" for me given we're close to the end and it has barely stepped up compared to the island part. Probably would have dropped it if every episodes were available but it's an ok watch when you only watch one episode a week. But I might downrate it even more for Vivi and Khaimuk. I'm really pondering which of these two characters I hate more. I wish I was the type who skipped or fast forwarded scenes easily but I just can't. Ah yeah, Prin is cartoonishly evil as well so she's not even in the "love to hate" category. Basically all female characters except for the niece are terribly written.
